Luke kinda slept till two in the night that Audrey has to tell the chef to heat the food. She wanted them to dine together but it seems she'll starve if she kept waiting for him. She wrapped herself in a quilt cuddling him ignoring her groaning stomach.
It was eight in the morning. The hunger increased. She woke up to a disturbing aroma of food but shook it off thinking it's because she didn't eat to bed.
Lucas was told she didn't eat to bed because she was waiting for him. So he sent for breakfast in bed. He scoffed seeing her tossing in the bed from the aroma but she didn't open her eyes.
" Audrey " he exclaimed pecking her
" Good morning Luke," she said rubbing her eyes
" I brought breakfast. Let's eat"
" No. I need to brush my teeth and I haven't taken my bath" she said trying to stand up but he held her giving her a spoon
" Eat. You can brush later. " He beckoned taking a spoon to eat too. They had breakfast before going to the bathroom.
" Luke, are you going inside with me? She asked shyly seeing him undressing
" Pretty much yes. There's just one bathroom. Meaning we've to share. Don't tell me you're shy? You haven't bathed with a man before? He asked surprised
" I..... Not really" she stuttered taking a bathrobe
" I prefer a towel sugar" he smirked giving her a towel
" Okay but I prefer bathrobes" she accepted it shyly feeling nervous again
' shall we? Ladies first" he said leading her inside.
They entered the bathroom Luke turned the shower on removing her towel slowly.
" Your wound is healing rapidly," he said coquettishly to her kissing her shoulder. Her breathing increased.
" I can't wait to go home" she whispered looking for something to support herself with and held his towel instead which dropped to the floor.
" We have two days left. Let's make of it what we can cos I have a lot to do at work" he said turning her to face him. She focused on his eyes. They stared at each other for minutes before kissing while Holding each other tighter as if they are about to enter each other.
" Are you still sore?. He asked caressing her hoping she wasn't
" No. I'm fine now. " She said kissing Adam's apple then his chest and his stomach. she was at his waist then looked up asking for permission to give him a b*** j** with her eyes. They stayed indoors the whole day talking about themselves. She wanted to ask him about his brother but didn't think they've gotten that far in their relationship besides she'll know when they return home.
Their cruise was finally over. Bobby was waiting for them at the seaport as he ordered. He helped them with their bags and greeted them.
" Welcome back Sir. Welcome back Miss Audrey"
" Thanks, Bobby. There's no place like home" she stated as Bobb chuckled thinking Lucas didn't treat her well. He proceeded to open the door for them and started the car driving off.
" Luke? She called as he hummed
" Can I go home? I'm fine now. I need to secure my job besides you'll be busy all through the week. Please? She pleaded piquing his interest
" No Audrey, Genevieve will take you to work if Bobb is busy with work. that's a better idea" he stated trying to make her understand
" Okay. Half a loaf is better than none" she muttered as Bob was baffled by what happened all of a sudden. Is it he or Lucas and Audrey are communicating fine without getting on each other's toes. It seems the cruise helped them to bond.
