Victor followed her to the party also. He saw the case as a big case. He was wondering how she knew Lucas's right-hand man Bobb. It's a good thing if she's connected to Lucas Hamilton then the case won't be difficult. He left after making sure she entered the house safely. He didn't know why but something about her wanted protection and care.

Audrey resumed her duty that fateful morning and they had another big client. The hotel management welcomed the party. It was a girl about her age.

" Who is in charge? She asked tiredly

" Good day Miss Genevieve. I am. Your suite is ready. This way " she said leading her away

" I hope it's a royal suite. I was told it's luxurious" she stated entering the elevator

" Yes. It is but I'll leave the comments to you" she said sternly

Genevieve entered the suite and smiled.

" Not bad. It is beautiful. I think I'll extend my stay to a year then" she announced

" Then we're ready. We hope business will be boomy "

" I'm not here for business. You can go. "

"We give our clients the privilege to choose the hostess that will wait on them" she added calling the hostesses in

" Hmm. I didn't know. You choose. I don't mind as long as she's clean and polite and educated. " She said nonchalantly

Audrey just frowned here comes second Lucas. She wanted to take her to the other royal suite but found it unavailable at the moment. Along with another luxurious suite. She wondered when It was occupied.

" Delaney! You'll wait on Miss Genevieve" she said as Delaney frowned

" Miss Audrey I'm waiting on another guest"

" And I say otherwise. You'll wait on her. I can explain to the other guests and if they insist on seeing you. I'll take you back" she announced as she nodded

" Good. Draw a bath for her and serve her some food" she ordered leaving.

" Delaney right? Lucas Hamilton lounged here right? She whispered

" Yes, Miss. He used the royal suite"

" You mean this one? She smiled slumping on the bed

" No. He's in the room at the moment" she announced making her sit up

" You mean he's here? How lucky I am " she smiled

" Take me to him. Don't worry he's my superior in the military. I took a leave. I'm here to assist him " she stated Delaney could tell it was more than that.

" Yes, Miss. After the bath and the food. "

" That can wait. Just let me know when you find him " she ordered.

Audrey entered the reception and there were lots of guests. The restaurant was filled too. She heard familiar voices. She went close and saw Peter, Roman, Nate, Will, and some girls eating and laughing.

When did they arrive? Did she sleep that long . she went to say hello.

" Hello, guys! I mean good morning gentlemen and ladies" she said changing the way she addressed them. the girls were busy shooting her glares here and there.

" Hello, sexy Audrey. You look prettier in the morning" smirked Peter drawing a chair for her

" Thanks but I'm the manager of the hotel " she announced as the girls stopped glaring at her

" Really? That explains how Lucas met you. Speaking of Lucas have you seen him? he's here you know" said Will

" No. I have a VVIP. I'm sure my assistant can attend to him"

" That's not cool. You should go and see him manager Audrey Zachary. What a beautiful name for a beautiful woman" smirked Roman looking at her badge. The girls were infuriated

" Don't be offended ladies. It's the truth. she's sexy and hot and looks at that curve. Lucas got a good eye .damn and she's interested in him too" stated Nate

" That's too much. Lucas doesn't like me and secondly, I don't like him anymore" she said sternly unsurely

" You pretty much like him. What attracted you to him? I know he wasn't kind to you. Tell us" they said in unison rendering Audrey speechless. She didn't know what to say. All she knows is that he's different in some ways.

" I don't like him" she retorted then left confusedly. The friends laughed and continued with their chi chat

She moved around the guest house making sure everything was intact. She was finally done and was set to see her friends when David entered.

" Hello, beautiful. I brought this for you" he said giving her a rose

" Thanks. Sorry I didn't call you. I have been busy. Here let's sit" she stated leading him to a table

" You look great today..are you this pretty in the morning? He asked jokingly

" I don't know about that. What should I offer you? She asked sending for a waiter

" Nothing. I came to see you. I want to take you home today. Can I?

" I kinda live here for now. So no need for that "

Peter sent for Lucas who has been busy having online meetings. He honored his call and joined them.

" What's the matter? He asked sternly

" Look. Your catch has a new admirer. " Said, Nate

" She turned him down already," he said coldly

" He seems to be grooming his way into her heart. She's smiling at him. And staring deep into his eyes. There. She's his. This man is good" teased Will

" Man you lost. You lost that hot damsel" mocked Roman. Lucas ignored him picking cutlery to eat.

" She's a free woman. " He added.

They shook their head in mockery then a girl walked to their table saluting Lucas in a military way which forced him to look up.

" Genevieve, what are you doing here? He asked as his four friends stare at the tomboy in front of them doubting if she's a girl.

" General, I took a leave of absence to assist you here. You need assistance and I'm up for it. Don't turn me down cos I'm already here ." She grinned

" Firstly, I'm no longer a general. Secondly, I don't need your help. go back home" he ordered cutting her joy short

" I could watch over your family, friends, cousins, and partners. Anything. please don't send me back" she pleaded

" Luke she's right. You need an experienced bodyguard. She can be of use to you " advised Peter checking her out. Nah. She's a tomboy

" Fine. You'll live with me" he announced as Audrey choke on her drink while David was patting her back

" Someone is jealous" grinned Will staring at Lucas who now has a grin plastered on his face.

" Arrange your things. We're leaving today. " She smiled and quickly left.

Audrey wasn't in a good mood after listening to his instruction. David noticed her staring at the table behind them. Is she involved with Lucas? That's not good. He has to move fast.

" Can we go somewhere else?

" Why David? I'm at work" she retorted. David winked at her to play along which she did.

" Where are you taking me? She asked

He whispered something to her and she laughed. She held his hands and was about to leave when Lucas's voice came.

" Audrey, dine with me. We've something to discuss"
