Every step she took made her heartache as she called her

" Mom? Patricia heard her and turned to face her surprised

" Mother! Oh, mother" she called hugging her tight almost crushing her.

Patricia cupped her cheeks giggling

" R... O... Ger" she tried making out the word but couldn't though Audrey could tell she was calling her dad indeed she looked like him in every way even his red hair.

" It's me Audrey, your daughter," she said holding her hands that were cupping her cheeks

" N.... O. Au.... drey de... ad" she stammered as she has spoken for the first time in years.

" No mom. I'm Audrey. See I look like Dad. I have his eyes. I've his lips too. Even my nose. I'm your daughter" she used her hands to touch her sense organs as Patrica nodded tearing down

" What's the matter? Mom, it's me Audrey" she stated hoping they won't notice her

" De...ad! She muttered scooting from her then Audrey looked at the table and saw her dad's photo. She grabs it looking at it. It's been a long she saw him.

" Dad! " She said touching the frame smiling. Patricia collected it from her forcefully holding it to her chest in a possessive way making Audrey chuckled. She does love him after so many years.

" It's going to be okay mom. I'm here now. I'm here to help you. " She said calming her down.

Patricia looked at her then the frame in her hand then at Audrey again. She wept more in comparison. She reached for her hand kissing them. She does look like her late husband. She didn't need a boy. Audrey is a carbon copy of Rogers. She went ahead to touch her hair and nose then looked deep into her eyes.

" D..au.gter" she managed to say as they heard footsteps approaching. Audrey stood up abruptly looking for a place to hide.

She hid behind the windows whilst The gang members rushed in. She looked property and noticed they were mostly hoodlums. Piece of cake she muttered shooting at them.

The boys weren't much. She was done shooting and quickly ran to her mother who took the frame with her.

" Mom, we've to go. You want to meet dad right? I'll take you to him " she promised to lead her out of the room.

They were still on the second floor about to exit the last door when the roof started crumbling. She increased her speed as they ran for their dear life.

Bobby caught Ivy hiding, surrounded the house as she surrendered raising her hands in the air brimming. Bobby didn't understand the grim in her lips until Lucas called for backup on his way to Texas as Bobby was in LA.

" What did you do bitch? Asked Bobby yanking her to the wall hard

" Nothing interesting. " She cackled as Bobby punched her

" What did you do to Miss Audrey? He asked about. Ivy wiped her bleeding nose and cackled.

" Kill me and you'll never find out" she pouts tsking her tongue triumphantly.

Didn't she wreck her business and destroyed her life? Why don't she repay her for the suffering she caused her over the years. Audrey won't be able to survive it. Not with her mom around.

" Speak bitch' said bobby trying his best to make her speak but she didn't. They tortured her but she didn't break. She has vowed to take the secret to her grave. It'll be useless to send for a hypnotist

Bobby called Lucas to relay the message. Lucas arrived in Texas searching for her since her phone was with her. While waiting for answers he searched the CCTV footage including the traffic cameras then he saw the car plate number urging them to track it.

Audrey and Patty ran helter-skelter looking for a way out as the second and third floors have crumbled they were on the first floor looking for an exit. After searching for what seemed like years to her. They were at the entrance. Patty looked at her hand and noticed Rogers's photo had fallen. She refused to move forward aiming to go back for it.

" Mom, what's wrong? There's no time we've to go " said Audrey coughing. She exclaimed as patty pointed her hand crying. Audrey finally understood and nodded.

" I'll get it .stay back. I'll get it" she tried to be convincing but Patty wasn't ready to accept her going back in. Audrey distracted her and ran inside the crumbling debris looking for the only photo she had of her dad.

After running wild looking for it. She found it. Picked it and wiped it. Now how to get back as her initial route in has closed. She slowed her breathing looking for a way out then heard her mother's voice...

" Audrey, where are you? Found Roger? Follow my voice" she exclaimed making her surprised. That isn't her mother. She followed her voice nevertheless and there was a way.

She coughed continually avoiding been smashed by debris. She was at the exit when the roof came falling. She jumped avoiding the fall then hit her head on a pillar which came tumbling down as she fell giving up. She closed her eyes as the pillar came at her.

Patty didn't know what happened but she regained herself.

" Audrey! She screamed running inside. She dragged Audrey's from under the debris. The pillar fell on her. Patty panicked removing the few ones she could in frustration and found her almost lifeless. Blood flowing out of her mouth as she noticed some of the debris pierced her legs.

" Why didn't you leave it? It's just a photo. " She wept as she muttered

" Why did you marry Dad since you knew he won't live long" she stuttered raising her hands in pain. Patty held it crying but Audrey urged her to tell her as her last wish.

" Because my baby, it's better to love and lost than not to love at all " she stated wiping blood from her mouth as Audrey smiled at the revelation.

At least she had no regret. Her mom was back to normal due to the incident and she thinks her dad saved her from the pillar. They were worth the sacrifice she made.
