Chapter 69: Chapter 69

Before Jonea reached the men's dormitory, she caught a man who was seen standing on one of the roofs of an old, disused building. The building is close to the east tower. Jonea recognized the figure's gray-silver hair and immediately turned toward it.

"Aland?" she whispered.

Aland turned his head and didn't seem surprised to see Jonea appear there.

"You still here?" Aland stood on the edge of the roof, which had no security. He stared in surprise.

"What do you do there?" Jonea panicked. Jonea was worried if Aland was planning to jump or something. "I think you should have gone with your sister back then. Why did you come back and hang on here?"

Aland smiled at Jonea. "Why do you say that? Have you seen the news? You don't need to feel guilty. I am staying here because of my own choice. I've tried to make peace with my mother, even though, in the end, she betrayed me again."

"So…." Jonea's words hung in the air.

"You already know, right? The news has spread all over the national media. My mother again made a scandal. She made our company's stock drop drastically. And my grandfather was so angry."

"Sorry, I…."

"Why do you have to apologize? It's not your fault, Jonea. This is my family's problem. I've tried to reconcile with my mother and give her a chance. But, again, she disappointed me. That's when I know that love from me alone is not enough for her. And I can't support her in anything. So she made the scandal again."

Aland looked up and spread his arms. As if he was ready to fly.

"I feel… we've almost succeeded. I have a close relationship with my mother. But I realized that she did not want me. She didn't want us. She is still herself with all her life choices. And in my mother's eyes, my existence is only reminiscent of her past wounds. About her failure with my father. I am worthless in her eyes."

Aland turned away, trying to hold back his tears. He also turned away from Jonea and didn't want to appear weak in front of the girl.

The first time, Jonea saw Aland so sad that he had to cry. Jonea couldn't stand it all. She couldn't stand herself, seeing the people she loved so hurt and suffering.

Jonea screamed angrily. "Don't say yourself worthless! How could that be? If it wasn't for you that day to come to save me from the students who bullied me, maybe I wouldn't have been able to survive at school until today. You are so precious to me, Aland!"

Aland was surprised. "Jonea...?"

"Yeah, and you knew from the start that I was Miller Fallon. I disguised myself as my brother."

And it just happened. Jonea cried and burst into tears. She was even more emotional than Aland, who was in trouble.

"Never think that you are worthless…." Jonea spoke through tears. "Just because she ignores you doesn't mean you're worthless. Since our first meeting, you have been a precious person to me!"

Aland's heart skipped a beat. He felt something tickle the bottom of his stomach. Unstoppable happiness.

Aland got off the roof and ran to hug Jonea. "Hey, why are you crying so loudly? You really make me feel guilty. You should comfort me instead of crying louder than me."

Aland smiled through his own tears. Aland hugged Jonea tightly and comforted the girl.

Jonea cried loudly like a child in Aland's arms.

"You can't fool a wolf's nose," Aland whispered. "Even though you have a body odor that is almost the same as Miller, I know you have a distinctive scent and are different from him."

Hunter caught up with Jonea to the roof of the old building. He was so excited to say hello to Jonea and missed her. However, as soon as Hunter arrived on the top and saw Aland hugging Jonea, the young man froze. Hunter was so angry. He was distraught by what he witnessed.

Still in her hotel in Paris. Mrs. Abraham's personal driver came and knocked on the door. He told the women.

"Ma'am, your luggage and private car are ready. It looks like you were in a lot of rush and didn't enjoy the business trip this time."

"I'm facing a pretty serious crisis," said Mrs Abraham. "I don't want the sole heir to the throne Pack Abraham to experience unnecessary shock. After running away from the arranged dinner, he makes matters even more complicated. I must deal with him quickly before he turns out of control."

Jonea and Aland broke away. They realized someone was watching from somewhere. When Jonea turned around, there was no one there.

Unlike Aland. He secretly smiled contentedly. Because Aland could smell Hunter's whereabouts not long ago. And on purpose, he let Hunter see what Aland and Jonea were doing there.

Hunter immediately left the roof of the old building and went down the stairs with anger bubbling in his chest. As he was about to leave school, Hunter ran into Edison and Elmar.

"Hey, Hunter. Where are you going? Why are you in such a rush?" says Elmar.

"Are we going to hang out tonight? I can't find Aland. Did you see him, Hunter?" Ed asked.

Hunter, who was trying to hold back his anger and explosive emotions, suddenly stopped and turned around when he heard Aland's name. Hunter attacked Ed and pushed him against the wall.

"Hey! Hunter, what are you doing?" Ed was so shocked and angry. He didn't understand why Hunter suddenly attacked him.

Elmar tries to separate them. But Hunter is so impulsive. He really couldn't control his anger. Elmar doesn't want anyone to get hurt. When Hunter swung his fist at Ed, Elmar immediately attacked Hunter from the side. They collided until the wall formed a hollow where their bodies hit.

Edison, who did not accept, attacked Hunter back. "What's wrong with you, Bastard?"

Hunter removed Ed's hand and left the two of them alone.

Jonea and Aland came down from the roof of the building when they heard the commotion. They saw Hunter arguing with Edison and Elmar.

"Hunter, what is this?" cried Jonea.

She had never seen Hunter so angry, even taking it out on his best friend. Meanwhile, Aland just stood quietly beside Jonea.

Seeing Jonea coming with Aland, Hunter didn't leave. His anger was growing in his chest. He needed something to vent it.

"Aland you… really are a jerk!" shouted Hunter in the presence of everyone.

"What do you mean?" Jonea needs help understanding.

Hunter pulled Jonea to his side. "You, my girl!"

Aland did not accept it. He pulled Jonea back to his side. "Sorry, she's not your girl! You never had her!"

Jonea was confused as she was pulled to both sides. "You guys… stop!"

Hunter had already clenched his fists wanting to attack Aland. But, Jonea blocked him, and the first flew to Jonea's face. Jonea closed her eyes with a squeal.

Aland moved as fast as lightning. He hugged Jonea and protected her from Hunter's attack. Aland twisted Hunter's arm, and they struggled on the ground.

"Hey, what are you doing?" shouted Elmar in frustration.

Edison was still annoyed by Hunter's attitude. Finally, the four of them wrestled and attacked each other.

Jonea could only see all that while holding her head which was in excruciating pain. Around them were many students who watched and began to secretly record it. Jonea couldn't just stay silent.

"I have to do something!"

She looked around for a way. The girl came back with a water hose. Seeing B4 still fighting, Jonea splashed cold water on them all. The four wolves were drenched and cold. Finally, they stopped fighting.

"Jonea!" protested Hunter, who hated the cold. "Is this what you want? Why did you turn to Aland?" Hunter looks so disappointed and hurt.

"What do you mean to turn away? As if I were yours?"

"You are indeed mine!" shouted Hunter. "I have already announced it in front of everyone. Whoever tries to take you from me, he is my enemy. It doesn't matter if it's Aland or anyone else." Hunter looked at the crowd around them. With a wet and cold body, he screamed. "From now on, Aland Hamilton is the enemy of B4!"

Everyone was surprised to hear Hunter's statement. Elmar and Ed, who started to get up, did not believe Hunter's words.

"You're kidding, right?" Elmar surprised.

"What are you saying?" Jonea hissed. "You are so childish. Why did you vent your anger on me against someone else? What's wrong with Aland in this? If you are disappointed in me, take it out only on me!"

"Why are you defending him, Jonea?" Hunter is injured. "Why do you care about Aland's feelings so much? Say you hate him! Tell me you don't like him!" pointed Hunter at Aland. "And say that you will only be mine!"

Aland stood up, wiping the blood from his lips. He did not accept that Jonea was forced and threatened in such a way. Aland had opened his jaws and was ready to turn into a wolf. However, Elmar did not allow his two best friends to fight again.

Jonea was silent and could not answer Hunter's request. From the bottom of her heart, Jonea leaned on Aland. She didn't want to say something not to her heart's content.

"You can't, can you?" said Hunter.

Jonea was so sick and upset. She approached Hunter and whispered something to the young man. No one else could hear Jonea's words apart from Hunter.

"Why should I say I hate Aland if I really love him? I told you, make a deal with me. But you refused. Is this the way you choose? Don't regret it!"

Hunter couldn't contain his anger anymore. But he couldn't take it out on Jonea either. Hunter is so desperate and frustrated. Anger, sorrow, and despair mixed within him.

Jonea took two steps back and left them all behind. Aland went after Jonea.

Only Elmar and Ed were left, who looked frustrated seeing their two friends fighting before him without being able to do anything.

Hunter, who was still covered in anger, immediately left the school. He raced his car at full speed like a madman.

News of the fight between Hunter and Aland spread widely on the school's social media. All students who saw the incident recorded and passed it on. They started speculating and gave many responses; most felt disappointed and sad because B4 had to be separated because of a girl. They started blaming and attacking Jonea as the cause of B4's destruction.

For several days Hunter did not come to school. Elmar and Ed, who saw Hunter and Aland getting further away, finally took the initiative to unite them. Elmar and Ed pay a visit to Hunter's house. They tried to persuade Hunter to reconcile with Aland.

"Can't you solve your problem with Aland in a good way?" cried Elmar. "We've been friends for a long time. Why are you still being this childish, Hunter?"

"You're defending Aland? Are you blaming me for all of this?"

Ed didn't say much. He just handed his cell phone to Hunter. "Look at the news that the B4 rift has spread. The students at school started blaming Jonea as the cause. And maybe you haven't seen this news either."

Hunter glanced briefly at Ed's cell phone. There was an article about the scandal that Aland's mother caused not long ago. Hunter wasn't interested at all.

"You must know Aland has been in a lot of trouble lately. He changed and was more silent. He always solves his own problems without even telling us about them. Can't you understand his position? You guys just misunderstood. Maybe Jonea was just trying to comfort Aland?"

"I hate bullshit, Ed!" shouted Hunter. He also slammed Edison's cell phone to pieces.

Edison threw up his hands in despair and disbelief. "You've gone too far! It's the newest phone I have, and you destroyed it. You are really annoying and selfish!"

"Go!" chase Hunter at them.

"Hunter," Elmar coaxed. "You really are childish. Can't we just talk about it?"

Edison dragged Elmar in annoyance. "Let's just go. He will never listen to us. He's always been like that from the start. Selfish and childish."

The two of them left, leaving Hunter alone in his room.

At the door of the Hunter's house, Elmar suddenly stopped. Ed wondered. "What are you doing?"

"I can't leave Hunter alone in such a state. You know feeling sad and down is very unpleasant, right? Right now, Hunter really needs a friend. Can you find Aland and talk to him?"

"Why should I?" Ed protested. "I don't want to talk to Aland at this time."

"If you don't want to talk to Aland, then you persuade Hunter!"

Ed shook his head in annoyance. "Of course not! It's better if I meet Aland."

They also separated. Ed goes to see Aland. Elmar meanwhile returned to Hunter's room to persuade the young man to meet and talk to him.

Jonea met Aland at his house. "Sorry, Aland. I keep getting you into a lot of trouble."

Aland shook his head. He took Jonea's hand and held it. "This is the only way to save Hunter. And I think this is the best for you, too, Jonea."

"But, Aland… What if I really make a mess of B4? I can't let that happen. You got in trouble because of me."
