Chapter 10: Chapter 10

Early in the morning, Jofa came out of her dorm room. At the door, she was already greeted by many students. They all stared at Jofa coldly.

'What's wrong?' Jofa thought.

The girl shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly. Jofa turned around and was about to close the door. However, Jofa's eyes widened when something was scrawled on the dorm room door. The red spray paint was written in big letters on her bedroom door.

"B4!" Jofa hissed while holding the door handle very firmly.

"That's the symbol!" shouted a student.

"The symbol this time is for a student from the second year—Miller Fallon."

"Students of Dorm 3 got the red symbol from B4!" shouted another.

Jofa turned her head to look at the students clustered behind her. They all suddenly ran away while shouting that Jofa had just gotten a red symbol in front of her dormitory door.

"What the heck are they? How childish."

Jofa was annoyed and punched the door repeatedly until it vibrated. She had woken up late and now had to clean the paint on her bedroom door. Jofa glanced at the clock on the wall in the corridor and sighed.

Jofa ignored the red paint on her bedroom door. "I'll clean it later after school."

The girl was running to her class. By the time she got to class, she was out of breath. Luckily, no teacher was standing in front of the course. But the classroom was quite chaotic. The students gathered and talked quite loudly.

Jofa stopped in the middle of the room. She needed clarification, looking for her table. Someone had taken hers desk, and Jofa couldn't study while standing.

The three students from dormitory two, who were always bothering Jofa, seemed to be approaching. One pushed the table beside Jofa until it almost hit the girl's leg. But, Jofa held him back just in time.

"Why? You lost your desk?" the student grinned when he saw Jofa confused.

"How is it possible that you will study with us in this class? Look who you are!" another said.

Jofa ignored their words and started paying attention to the desks in the classroom individually. All tables are occupied. She didn't know where to look for her.

Jofa's attention was fixed on the front of the class. Under the blackboard, Jofa saw her sketchbook dropped and trampled. Jofa ran and got rid of the students who crushed her books. She picked up her sketchbook, filled with scribbles and shoe marks.

'Homeless!'

'Beggar!'

'Get the hell out of here, slave!'

'Go, human!'

All the scribbles were crowded into one, filling almost the entire surface of her sketchbook. She didn't know who the culprit was.

Jofa took a deep breath and let it out slowly. She tried to keep hers emotions from exploding right then and there. Jofa looked down and picked up her dirty sketchbook. However, someone again landed on the sketchbook.

Jofa looked up and saw a male student standing with his arms folded across his chest. He stared at Jofa haughtily.

"Remove your feet from my book," said Jofa trying to stay patient.

"Well, let's see. What are you drawing here? Fat Pig? Or your own ass?"

"Ha ha ha..." Laughter exploded in the classroom.

Jofa clutched her sketchbook, which the student was still stomping on. "Take your feet off as long as I ask nicely!"

"Or what? You will fight me? You better get out of here, you disgusting bum!" rebuked the student arrogantly. He kicked Jofa's sketchbook through the open door and into the hallway.

Jofa hunted and followed her sketchbook. In the hallway before the classroom, Jofa saw her desk piled there. Jofa was really shocked because the table was as scary as her sketchbook. The entire surface of the table was covered with various graffiti, obscenities, and obscene images.

Jofa could only stare at her desk. While all the students giggled, watching Jofa in the hallway.

"Who did it? If you have something to say, come out now! Who did it?" Jofa shouted loudly and challenged them to appear.

Jofa turned around, and a carton of stale milk was thrown at her face. The girl opened her mouth while closing her eyes because she couldn't breathe. The sour smell of thick milk filled her face.

An explosion of laughter erupted again from almost the entire classroom that witnessed Jofa. All the students gathered in the hallway and enjoyed a delightful sight.

Now, not only stale milk. They started pelting Jofa with eggs and dousing her with flour and coffee. All the trash started flying towards her. Jofa is really like rotten cookie dough.

The girl crossed her arms in front of her face to protect her head. Milk, eggs, coffee, flour, and trash kept splattering her way.

Jofa gritted her teeth. She thought of Miller, who was still lying in the hospital bed. Jofa could still endure it all, but she couldn't imagine that something like this had to happen to her brother while studying at this school.

"Come on, throw again! Throw! Throw them all!" shouted Jofa with anger bubbling in her chest.

Instead of stopping, the students cheered loudly. They were getting excited, throwing all the dirt at her.

"Hey... give me the mixer. We just need to grind and shake it, right?" teased one of the students.

"You think he's pizza dough?" another sarcasm.

The burst of laughter echoed louder this time.

Jofa really can't stand it. Her heart was so sick and hurt. She could only lower her face, and tears suddenly spilt out of nowhere she could not control. Jofa slowly took off her glasses so she could see one by one the students who were insulting and bullying Miller at this time.

"Just throw it! Continue! Isn't this fun for you?" Jofa screamed until her voice was hoarse. She turned and watched one by one the students who laughed and were content to insult him.

Jofa's gaze stopped on Axel. He was also among that crowd of students. Axel lowered his head and looked away from Jofa. He looked scared and pale. But did nothing for Jofa.

"Axel," Jofa whispered.

Suddenly Axel flipped over and left the crowd. He didn't even help Jofa. Instead, Axel ran away.

A CCTV camera in the school hallway recorded everything. From the private club room B4, Hunter enjoys the view through a large monitor. The monitor recorded all events at school, including the bullying of Jofa.

"You're not done with him yet?" scolded Ed.

"There's no way I will end all this so easily. Miller must pay the price. For daring to challenge me," Hunter said without taking his eyes off the monitor screen.

"Come on, Hunters. I guess this is enough."

"Well, you have made him suffer enough already!" said Elmar.

Edison and Elmar sat on the couch, enjoying their morning coffee and snacks.

"This will end if Miller will kneel at my feet," said Hunter with a straight face. "He shouldn't have awakened the sleeping wolf." Hunter grinned in satisfaction.

"Tsk, I don't think he'll last a week," Elmar commented.

"A week? It's so long. I want to bet. He will definitely only last three days here at most," Ed said as he took out a gold card and threw it on the table.

"If I win, I will use this gold card of yours to my heart's content. And don't regret it," said Elmar.

Edison smiled a little and waved his hand as if it were nothing serious. He has unlimited access through that gold card.

"But, if it's me, you must provide an exclusive photo and your signature!"

"Wow," Elmar gasped. "I am deeply moved. Are you starting to admire me, Ed? Since when did you become my fan?"

Edison pursed his lips. "I did it because I had to. My girlfriend is your fan. She always forces me to get your photo and autograph exclusively." Edison's face looked sombre.

"Okay," Elmar said. "But, if I win, lend me one of your private resorts by the beach. I want to vacation with the girls there!"

"Agreed!" replied Ed.

"Hey, don't be loud!" rebuked Hunter. "Miller will be here soon."

Hunter laughed heartily as he rubbed his hands together. He sat leaning against the couch with one leg tucked over the other. His arms stretched wide like a boss. And his lips began to count while his eyes watched Jofa's movements through the CCTV screen.

"Five... four... three... two... one!"

Nothing happens.

Hunter tilted his head slightly and felt curious. He thought Miller would run into their private clubroom and immediately kneel at Hunter's feet to stop all the bullying.

"Something must be wrong," Hunter muttered. "Yes, of course, he must go to the toilet now. He needs to clean up. I am sure of it."

Hunter smiled broadly.

"How could he dare to come here with clothes and a body smelling of fishy eggs like that, right? I guess I was too fast."

After waiting for about thirty minutes, Hunter started counting again.

"Three... two... one!"

Hunter snapped his fingers.

Still, nothing happened. Elmar and Ed started laughing at the antics.

"Don't laugh at me!" Hunter started to get angry.

Hunter stood up and started pacing back and forth in their private clubroom while monitoring the CCTV screens. But on the monitor screen, there was no single presence of Jofa.

"Damn it! Where is he going?"

"Wait," Elmar said suddenly. "Could he go on the roof like Michael did a while ago?"

"Should I check it?" he said. "Maybe we need to change the bet if he does get on the roof."

But Hunter didn't like the jokes of his two friends. He clenched his fists as he moved his jaw until it made a horrible creaking sound. He was still waiting while watching the movement of the CCTV screen.
