Chapter 69: Chapter 69
"Don't you dare come close to me, Valeria, or else you'll regret it." He said dangerously.
"I still find this so hard to believe. What do you take me for Valeria, a fool, am I a fool to you? How dare you tell me you're pregnant with me when I've never ever touched you. Have you forgotten how you used to tell me to wait for you until you was 18, so why will I have sex with you?"
"Please Ergon, stop saying all this, don't do this to me, please Ergon, I'm begging you, I'm carrying your child, I'm —." Valeria was saying when another slap landed on her cheek.
"If you ever call that thing in your womb mine, then I swear to God I'll kill you, Valeria," Ergon said in anger.
Valeria held her cheek, she just couldn't believe what was happening to her right now. Ergon had just slapped her two times. He was also denied his baby.
"I feel like strangling you right now Valeria, your presence alone irritates me, you disgust me, I never knew you were such a cheap slut, a gold-digger, I was so blinded by my damn love for you I never realized who you truly are, you're a whore Valeria, and a cheap one, you see that thing in your stomach." Ergon said, pointing directly at her stomach.
"You had better go give it to the rightful owner. I have nothing to do with you, Valeria, and from today, I consider you dead to me, you're dead to me Valeria, you're dead." Ergon spat.
Valeria shook her head disappointedly, Ergon had finally shown her his true colors.
"You have broken my heart, Ergon. After I gave myself to you, this is what you do in the end. You use me and then you dumb me like I meant nothing to you."
"Did I ever mean anything to you? Was everything a lie from the start? Why are you doing this to me?"
"Get out of myself Valeria, I don't want to ever see your face again, I don't give a damn about your fucking words, just get the fuck out of my sight you dirty cheap slut." Ergon barked.
"You don't even deserve to live after what you've done, you're nothing but a deceitful person. You're a whore Valeria, a cheap and worthless piece of trash."
Valeria clenched her teeth in anger, and then she slapped Ergon so hard on his face.
"I will never forgive you for this, Ergon. I will never forgive you for what you have done to me. You have ruined my life and now you've dumped me, you also refused your baby."
"Stop calling that thing mine," Ergon said with gritted teeth.
"I hate you, I hate you Ergon Mickelson. I will never forgive or forget what you did to me today. Thank you, thank you for showing me who you truly are, but I promise you this, you'll regret what you did to me today." Valeria said bitterly.
She turned, opened the door quickly, and she ran back to her room.
"Arrrg...." Ergon screamed in anger.
He grabbed his hoodie and his car keys, then he left the room.
****
Night time....
Valeria sat on the floor, crying her eyes out, she didn't know what to do, she couldn't continue living there, and her mother, oh, her poor mother, she would be so disappointed in her, she'd brought shame to her mother, her mother who was struggling to make things better for them, she's brought shame to her.
Ergon had left her, right when she needed him the most, he abandoned her and refused his baby too.
She placed a hand on her stomach, and she cried bitterly.
How will she raise this child on her own, how will she cope with the new responsibility that has fallen on her shoulders?
"This is all my fault." She cried.
"I should never have trusted Ergon, I should never have given myself to him, I should never have fallen in love with him in the first place, we should never have met."
"If Ergon hadn't been in my life, none of this would have happened. I made a mistake, and now I'm regretting that mistake."
The thought of getting an abortion suddenly crossed her mind.
"No, no no. I can't do that, I can't kill this baby. I'll never forgive myself if I kill my child. I can't take its innocent life. This child has done nothing wrong. I'm to blame here, not this child."
"I'll raise this child no matter what."
"You don't even deserve to live after what you've done, you're nothing but a deceitful person, a snake under the green grass, you're a whore Valeria, a cheap and worthless piece of trash." Ergon's words rang in her ears.
"I can't stay here any longer, I can't stay here, I'll need to go far away from here, far away from everybody, far away from my mother." She said, muttering the last part.
"I'll never be able to face my mother again, I'll never have the guts to look into her eyes. I can't go to mom's like this. I don't want to see the disappointment in her eyes, it's better I leave." She said to herself.
Valeria hurriedly stood up, she grabbed her suitcase, then she opened her closet, she started packing her things. She didn't have many clothes either. She took whatever she could, then she closed her suitcase.
She quietly pulled the suitcase to the door, she opened the door, and she peeped to see if there was anyone in sight. When she saw there was no one, she gently dragged her suitcase along.
She managed to get outside without alerting anyone in the mansion.
She dragged her suitcase to the gate. Luckily for her, the guard wasn't there. She went to the small gate, she opened it, she went out, then she carried her suitcase too. She quietly locked the gate from the outside.
She took one last look at the mansion, she remembered the hurtful things Ergon said to her, and the tears began to flow again.
Her hand went to her stomach, and she rubbed it.
"I'll raise you on my own." She whispered.
"I'll never forget what you have done to me, Ergon. You abandoned me right when I needed you the most, you've snatched my happiness away from me, you've ruined my dreams. I'll have to leave without even seeing my poor mother. I can't even see her one last time. I'll never forgive you, Ergon. I swear I'll never forgive you." She said bitterly.
She used her palm to clean her tears, then she turned and she left, not bothering to look back.
