Chapter 26: Chapter 26
Next day.....
Valeria had woken up very early to go to school, after her discussion with Erica last night. She's decided that she'll try her possible best to avoid Ergon.
Ergon came to the dining table and met his mom already having breakfast.
"Morning mom." He greeted her as he took a seat opposite his mom. He dropped his bag on the chair beside him.
"Son, how are you?" Shiella asked with a smile.
"I'm fine mom, how was your night? Did you sleep well?"
"Yes son. Hurry and have your breakfast, you'll need to go to school early. Valeria has already left for school."
"What!!!." Ergon yelled, startling Shiella.
"Why did you have to yell like that?" Shiella asked with a slight frown on her face.
"Sorry mom, Valeria has already left?"
"Yes, she left for school very early this morning."
Why didn't she wait for me? We could have gone together.
He hurriedly grabbed his bag from the chair, and quickly stood up.
"What's wrong? Aren't you hungry?"
"No mom, I'm good. I'll eat at school." Ergon answered.
He kissed his mom on her cheek, and left in a hurry, so as to avoid anymore questions from her.
The moment Ergon left, Noah came to the dining room, and Shiella couldn't hide how surprised she was to see him.
"Morning mom." He greeted her, then took a seat.
"Nice to see you here son." Shiella uttered in delight.
He had only come down for breakfast just because he wanted to see Valeria.
He kept stretching his head to see if she would come from the kitchen area.
"Looking for someone?" Shiella asked when she noticed what he was doing.
"Where's the new maid?"
"Who? Valeria?"
"Yes."
"Why are you looking for her?" Shiella frowned.
"Please mom, don't start now."
"What? You've never been so concerned about anyone before, so I'm surprised to see you asking about her." Shiella stated, but Noah kept silent.
"She has left for school."
"What!!!." Noah half yelled, startling Shiella.
"What the hell is wrong with you and your brother this morning? Why do you two have the same reaction when I told you she'd left for school?" Shiella asked. Noah cleared his throat in an awkward way.
"I..isn't it too early?" Noah stuttered.
"Yes, and there's nothing wrong with that. You should also be as serious as her when it comes to your studies, Noah, you've been home for only God knows how long. You should go back to school," Shiella said.
Noah stood up from his seat.
"What's wrong? Why are you leaving now?"
"I don't want to have this conversation with you mom, so I'm going back to my room." Noah said with his back turned away from her.
"Noah." Shiella called, but he was already walking away.
"Noah, come back here! You can't just walk away from me like that!" She yelled.
Noah didn't bother to answer her. He walked rather faster to his room, and the next thing Shiella heard was his door being slammed hard.
"What am I going to do with you, Noah?" She sighed.

Prestige High School..
For hours now, Valeria had been trying her best to avoid Ergon. She switched seats so she wouldn't be close to him. He approached her to ask her why, but she ignored him.
She wanted to do exactly what Erica told her. Avoiding, the Mickelson's will be better than getting dragged into their mess.
When it was lunch time, everyone headed to the cafeteria, but she sat down because she couldn't afford the food which was sold. She was trying to manage the little money she had.
The class was empty, and Ergon had left earlier with his friends.
Sheila didn't bother her that day either, she knew it was because she wasn't close to Ergon.
She couldn't deny the fact that she was affected by all that was happening. She was already used to Ergon's nagging and childish behavior and she kind of missed him.
She stood up from her seat, and headed to the restroom as she felt pressed
Just as she made to leave the classroom, Ergon suddenly walked in, startling her.
"Oh my goodness!" She held onto her chest.
"Why are you avoiding me? Did I do something wrong? We can work it out, rather than ignoring me." He said. She could tell he wasn't happy with her avoidance.
"We have nothing to talk about, Ergon, I'm out of here," just as she tried to leave, he pulled her back.
"Let me go!" She screamed, while struggling to break free from his hold.
"You're my girlfriend Valeria, we shouldn't be fighting! You can tell me if I did something wrong and I'll apologize, okay." He said frustratedly.
Valeria felt sorry for him, she wasn't sure if she could continue ignoring him, but Erica's words rang in her ears.
"Avoid the Mickelson's. How would you feel if a long fat rod was thrust deep into your pussy?"
She shuddered and she forcefully removed her hands from his.
"Stop this nonsense about me being your girlfriend, I'm not Ergon, get that into your thick skull!" She yelled. But deep down she knew the insult wasn't necessary, but she had to.
Ergon couldn't believe his ears, he found it hard to digest what she'd just said. She isn't the Valeria he once knew.
"Prove to me that we aren't dating." He stated.
Valeria hung her head low, she couldn't afford to stare in his face, else she would do the opposite.
"Look at me Valerie." He ordered, staring intensely at her. Valeria immediately shook her head.
Ergon pursed his lips, and walked closer to her, but she immediately moved back immediately.
"Valeria, look at me!" He ordered again, walking up to her, but she continued moving backwards until her back was against the wall. At that moment she couldn't believe he was the 16-year-old boy she knew.
He sounded so domineering and she couldn't help but shudder.
"Do not come any closer!" She warned.
