I woke up feeling tired and wanted to rest but because I had to go to school I got up and went to the kitchen to make coffee, and I saw Nanny Lily cooking breakfast

"Oh it's still early, you didn't even eat last night" Nanny Lily said

"Yes, I was too tired last night so I couldn't eat" I said

"Bruce was waiting for you last night, huh? Are you still fighting?” Nanny Lily asked

“Hmmm…. Yes, but let it go, Nanny Lily, our problem will be fine" I said

"It's better that you two talk about your problem so that it can be fixed more easily" Nanny Lily said

I couldn't say anything to what Nanny Lily said and I just focused on drinking coffee and after Nanny Lily finished cooking I immediately ate. I thought that I was no longer having news to Lucy. How are the two lovers doing ?

After I ate I immediately went to my room and took a shower, when I came out of my restroom Bruce appeared to me sitting on my bed

"What are you doing here?" I asked

"I want to talk to you, why can't we finish the problem that we both have" Bruce said

"Is it my fault that you're flirtatious and don't remember that you have a girlfriend?" I yelled at him

"Simoune? Really? You're saying I flirted without knowing who the girl was? You're really thinking something stupid, I wish you were asking me who the person is first, not the one that has meaning to you immediately" Bruce said calmly

"So I'm still the bad one now? Am I the one who saw you with a girl and hugged you? Maybe that's why you didn't pick me up last time because you're busy with her?" I said while smirking

"It's terrible Simoune, I didn't pick you up last time because I was focusing on our research paper, not because I was flirting. I hope you're not asking me like that, it's terrible what you imagine to me because you think I just flirted at school. Maybe you're forgetting that I'm also studying and graduating Simoune" Bruce said

I didn't pay attention to him anymore and he left my room in a few minutes, while I was still annoyed with anger while I was changing my clothes. After I finished getting dressed and preparing my things, I immediately went down to the living room and looked for daddy's car key. I didn't want to go with Bruce because I didn't want to see him.

"Nanny Lily, I'm leaving" I said while holding the key of daddy's car

“You will drive a car? Isn't that dangerous Simoune? Bruce is waiting for you, why don't you go with him?" Nanny Lily said

"No, Nanny Lily, I'd like to use daddy's car because it's just in stock so it might break down in the garage" I said.

"Be careful" Nanny Lily said, I could see the worry in Nanny Lily's eyes but she couldn't do anything because this was my decision

I left the house and took the car out of the garage, as soon as I got in the car, Bruce immediately stopped me

"Simoune!? Why do you have to do this? What if you get stuck on the road?” Bruce said

"I don't need your concern" I briefly said

I drove and didn't understand what Bruce was saying, I don't know but my feelings were filled with anger, maybe I just exploded too much with my feelings that's why I'm like this. When I got to school I immediately got ready because this is our defense day, I have to forget the problems I'm facing because we have to pass this defense

"Simoune, do you have formal attire with you?" Clarisse asked

"I have, it's in the bag. Do we need to change clothes now?" I asked

"Yes, because our defense will start in a few minutes, I'm a little nervous but for our grades I will do my best" Clarisse said

I went to the restroom and changed my uniform while I was changing my phone was ringing because Bruce was sending me texts

"Simoune? Did you come to your school?"

"Simoune? Please let's fix our problem, we don't need to fight, listen to what I'm saying"

"Simoune? Please update me on what you are doing at your school"

"Do you want me to come see you later and we can fix our problem?"

I didn't pay attention to it and quickly left the restroom because I went to the room, a few minutes later our panels arrived so we were sent out of the room because the defense will be per group. After the two groups finished, we followed. We were very quick with the questions because we studied all the pages in our research paper to avoid errors in the defense itself.

When we finished defending we were given a grade of 98 and we were almost the highest grade obtained in defense

"Congratulations to us!" Clarisse said

"Congratulations because it's our hard work and perseverance that's why we got a high grade! We deserve it" I said

We hugged because we couldn't explain the joy we felt, until the defense was over and we were all brought into the room and each group's grade was told and we were all praised for it. After the defense, we were dismissed, so I quickly packed my things and then asked Clarisse to leave the campus.

"Wait, are you and Bruce okay?" Clarisse asked

"Not yet, let it go. I really just need time to myself, it's even happier like this" I said

"So does that mean he didn't drop you off and he won't pick you up?" Clarisse asked

"Yes, I brought daddy's car to school, of course I've been double careful so that what happened before won't happen again and of course I'll keep that car because that car is still daddy's" I said

"Then let's go! Let's celebrate the end of our research!" Clarisse yelled

"Alright! Let's go and go to the mall, while there is still time because later I have to go to work" I said

We quickly left the campus and got into our own car and we went to the mall, because it was lunch time we thought of eating at a fancy restaurant, when we got to the fancy restaurant we immediately ordered and sat down and waited for our food

"You really have no intention of replying to Bruce or at least updating him on your travels?" Clarisse asked

"Right now I don't have any plans, I just want to take care of myself because that's what's important right now" I said

When our food arrived, we immediately ate while talking, after eating we went window shopping but because we were tempted to spend, we ended up buying clothes. After we went shopping, we decided to go home because I still had work to do

We went to the parking lot and quickly searched for our two cars

"Thank you for the day Clarisse, thank you for being with me!" I said

"You're always welcome! Be careful driving!” She said

We both got on board and then we went to our respective houses. When I got home I immediately went up to my room and set-up my laptop and then waited for my work. While waiting, I looked at my phone and there were so many missed calls and texts from Bruce, but I ignored it and just focused on working.

While Simoune was busy working, Bruce was restless because she did not reply to his messages and missed calls to Simoune. He went to Simoune's school but according to what he asked, they went home early. Bruce is worried but he can't do anything because he and Simoune don't talk

Bruce went to Simoune's house but Nanny Lily said he hadn't come home yet so he was restless and asked Lucy what Clarisse's number was, when she got it she immediately texted her and asked if she was with Simoune. He asked Clarisse where they were. Clarisse replied so somehow Bruce's concern about Simoune's whereabouts was reduced

"Oh! Bruce, Simoune and I were at the mall and we both went shopping. It's better not to go to her because Simoune hasn't gotten over her anger on you yet, maybe you two will just fight here at the mall if you go" Clarisse texted

Bruce can't explain why Simoune is so angry with him because Simoune doesn't give him a chance to explain to her. Can their fight that has been going on for several days be resolved? What is Simoune's reason for not being able to forgive him?
