I woke up at 10am, I immediately took out my phone and saw Bruce's last message to me but because I was tired last night I was not able to reply to it. I texted Bruce because he might be awake too and he said we're leaving because today is our monthsary

"Good morning babe, I'm sorry if I didn't reply to you last night because I was so tired. What time do we leave" I texted

After I texted Bruce, I immediately got up and then went to the kitchen and made coffee. I saw Nanny Lily cooking

"Good morning Nanny Lily" I said

"Good morning too Simoune, eat now" Nanny Lily said

"Yes, I'm about to eat, wait, daddy, has not eaten yet?" I asked

"By the way Simoune, your daddy left this morning, he said he had to take care of something at the company and he had to go so I couldn't stop him" Nanny Lily said, which immediately surprised me.

"But Nanny Lily, he just got out of the hospital!" I said in a rather high tone

"I couldn't stop him because he left in a hurry earlier" Nanny Lily said

I immediately picked up my phone and then called daddy

"Daddy?????!!!" I yelled at the phone

"Why Simoune? I'm in a meeting" he whispered

"Daddy, you know you just got over your illness, right? Can't you rest here at home?" I said, I can't stop worrying because I'm not by daddy's side to guide him

"It'll be over easily, I'll rest after this last time" daddy said

"Sure? After that you will come home?" I asked

"Yes Simoune, let me do it" daddy said, I had no choice but to agree because he was already there and it looked like daddy was telling the truth that he would stop working first after his meeting

"Oh okay daddy, as long as you're careful! Go home right away. By the way, daddy, I'm going to celebrate with Bruce because it's our 1st monthsary, I'll also go home right after the celebration" I said

"Oh okay, I know Bruce won't leave you alone so I'll agree, as long as you two take care! I love you so much" daddy said

"I love you too dad!" I said

"Oh okay dear, and I'm still in a meeting" Daddy said

"Alright daddy, I love you!" I said

I didn't hear daddy's answer because he immediately ended the call, I also told Nanny Lily what daddy said so we didn't worry anymore. While I was eating, my phone immediately rang so I immediately picked it up and saw that Bruce had texted

"Babe? I'm sorry I just woke up, after I eat and shower I'll pick you up right away and then we'll eat at a fancy restaurant and walk around" Bruce texted

"Alright babe! I'm excited for our celebration!" I replied, after texting Bruce, I continued eating breakfast

After I finished eating, I immediately went up to the room and then I showered and put on makeup. Just a few minutes after I finished I received a text from Bruce

"I'm here in your living room" Bruce said, Bruce acted really fast

I immediately went down to the living room and found Nanny Lily and then Bruce talking

"Oh Nanny Lily, Bruce and I are leaving first" I said while smiling at Nanny Lily

"I know and I'm happy that you found the right person for you, you two take care!" Nanny Lily said

I immediately hugged Nanny Lily and Bruce did the same, then we left the house and got in the car

"Happy monthsary babe!" Bruce said after that he kissed me on my lips

"Happy monthsary too babe!" I said and I hugged him

"I'm happy that you're happy today and that I'm with you, and because of that the first thing we're going to do is go to the mall and watch a movie. Is that okay with you?" Bruce said

I shouldn't be remembering past stories, but I still have the fear that what happened might happen again. Bruce immediately hugged me because we stopped at the stop light

"What happened before will not happen again, I will not leave you and neglect you!" Bruce said, it's funny that he knows where I'm weak so I hugged him and felt the warmth of his body hitting my body

"Thank you babe! I love you!" I said while hugging him

"I love you more Simoune!" Bruce whispered

We went to the mall and then we lined up to buy tickets and then we bought snacks to eat inside. After a few minutes of waiting, we entered the cinema and then we watched

I felt his full presence in every minute of the movie we were watching so I couldn't stop myself and I stood up and then sat on his lap

"Are you not comfortable in your seat babe?" He asked

"No babe, I want to sit in your lap" I said

"Okay babe" he said after that he hugged me behind my back

All I feel is joy, I don't even know what else I could ask for and Bruce is here, I'm glad he's with me through everything I'm going through now and not Vince

After the movie ended, the lights immediately turned on and then I saw the screams of the people because it looked like they were still hanging on the story of the movie, they slowly came out and Bruce and I did the same.

When we got out, we immediately looked for Bruce's fancy restaurant, but there were so many people that everything seemed to be crowded so we decided to eat at another restaurant.

We went to the parking area and then got into the car when suddenly someone called me

"Is this Simoune?" He asked

"Yes, why?" I asked, the voice on the call suddenly changed and it seemed familiar to me

"Si---moun-ee" Nanny Lily said while she was crying

"Nanny Lily? Why are you crying?" I asked

"Si---moun-ee, your da–d" Nanny Lily stammered

"What happened to daddy!?" I yelled, I can't explain why what I hear makes me cry even though I don't know it yet

"He's dead, he was attacked earlier in the office and when he ran to the hospital he was dead on arrival" Nanny Lily said while crying so hard

I was so deafened by what I heard that I dropped the phone I was holding. Bruce was asking me what happened but I couldn't answer it either. Bruce picked up my phone and then he talked to Nanny Lily, I think by that time he knew what had happened he was rushing to go to the hospital

I don't know why time seemed to go so fast because I didn't even realize that we were in front of the hospital. I was filled with fear that I might not be able to bear seeing daddy lying there and not breathing

We got to daddy's room and the atmosphere is very quiet, the only thing you can hear is the noise coming from the electric fan, I can't explain it, it's like I was talking to daddy just earlier and now I can't be with him for the rest of my life

I couldn't cry, I didn't want to see daddy so I just hugged him while he was wrapped in a white blanket

"Daddy, you said you were going home right away earlier? You said it was your last job earlier? I didn't expect this to mean your last. That's why you were so happy earlier that Bruce was with me to celebrate," I said. you still love us both very much. Daddy! You're cheater I said while hugging daddy, I know he can't answer me but I want to say my feelings

It's really a trick, why does everyone always seem to be mad at me? Why can't I escape the sadness I feel?

Every time I feel happy, I will be sad the next day. Why now daddy!? Why now?
