BRUCE

I woke up because of the call when I looked at it, it was Lucy! Shocks!! What time is it!!! It's already dismissed. I quickly got up and looked for Nanny Lily. I immediately found her outside and entered Simoune's room

“Oh you wake up already Bruce, I have food prepared for lunch. You can ea—--” Nanny Lily said but because of rushing I didn't end what she's talking about

"Nanny Lily, I'm sorry I'm in a hurry because I'm going to pick up Lucy, I'll be right back" I said

I didn't let Nanny Lily answer and immediately ran out of the hospital. When I got out, I immediately got on my car and immediately called Lucy because she might have left school

“Lucy!?” I said panicking

"Oh? I've been calling you for a while, can you still pick me up?" Lucy said

"Yes, sorry I fell asleep while lying in the coach! I'm on my way, wait for me" I said

"Alright, I'll wait for you. I'm just here at the gym, fortunately there are some people training volleyball so I was entertained while calling you and I didn't leave my place right away. Hurry up!" Lucy said

"Yes, just wait for me!" I said

I ended the call, it's a good thing Lucy hasn't left school yet I'm sure that I will make her angry! Because I promised to pick her up and then I didn't keep it. It's really good and I woke up even though I only have vibration notification, I don't like the one with sound because sometimes it makes me shocked.

When I arrived at school, I immediately walked towards the gym and saw Lucy watching. I immediately called it and it immediately turned around and came to me

"You're 30 minutes late!" Lucy said

"I'm sorry, I fell asleep while I was watching and lying on the coach over Simoune" I said

"It's okay, I understand! But of course I held on to what you said that you would really pick me up so I didn't leave here!" Lucy said

"I'm really sorry, let's go!" I said

We walked to the car and immediately got in

"How is Simoune?" Lucy asked

"She's good, I explained to her that she can't force herself to remember all the past, because it will only make her head hurt more. I also told her to let her memory come back on her own so she won't be taken for a ride" I said

"Does she remember you, that's why she's talking to you?" Lucy said

"No, that's why she had a headache this morning because she insisted on worrying about me. It's good that now she's listening so she doesn't force her self to remember everything" I said

"It's good and with that, we have a lot to do in research but it's not super hard" Lucy said

"What shall we do?" I asked

"We will find RRL both local and foreign. We will look for ten each. It's good that we ended up with that, because I said that if we could do it together it's more accurate because we're friends, they agreed and they assigned me in RRL. so I have no choice but to agree" Lucy said

"I know how much you hate RRL so sorry!" I said

"It's okay, at least we're together and we won't have any trouble watching over Simoune. Take me home later!" Lucy said

“Yes! Have you eaten?" I said

"Not yet, wait? I have nothing to eat! Let's go shopping!” Lucy said

"You don't have to buy food Nanny Lily cooked, so it's okay, Nanny Lily's cooking is delicious!" I said

"Does that fit us?" Lucy asked

"Yes, that's a lot, because I saw it on the table, I can't eat it all!" I said

When we arrived at the hospital, we immediately went to Simoune's room

"You're so quick to pick up Lucy, Bruce!" Nanny Lily said

"Sorry Nanny Lily, I didn't finish what you're talking about earlier because I was in a hurry to go to Lucy because she's been waiting for me for 30 minutes. I told her I would pick her up" I said

"That's okay, have you eaten? Oh, I brought some food, I cooked it at home and brought it here because it's better for Simoune to eat vegetables, so I cooked chopsuey and buttered shrimp" Nanny Lily said

"Did you eat lunch Nanny Lily? Has Simoune eaten yet?" I asked

"Yes, we both ate earlier while you were sleeping earlier, I also bathed her and gave her medicine so she fell asleep again" Nanny Lily said

"I'm sorry Nanny Lily if I didn't help, I fell asleep" I said

"It's okay, go ahead and eat first" Nanny Lily said

Lucy and I have already eaten and it looks like Nanny Lily's skills of cooking is very good because we is still smiling after eating

"Your food is really good, Nanny Lily!!!!" Lucy said

"What are you! You're so noisy" I said

"Oh sorry!!!! I just enjoyed Nanny Lily's food too much" Lucy said

“Thanks for the compliment!” Nanny Lily said

While I ate I remembered Clarisse, does Nanny Lily know that?

"Nanny Lily, do you know Clarisse?" I asked

"Hmmm... Who is that?" Nanny Lily asked also

"That's a girl, I'm just curious because she visited Simoune, is that her classmate?" I said

"Maybe that's what Simoune is saying who became her friend at De La Salle" Nanny Lily said

"I don't know, but she seems kind and very concerned about Simoune, she said she was the one who saw Simoune crash and brought her to the hospital as well as the one who called uncle to go here in hospital" I said

"It's a good thing Clarisse brought her here right away, she's a very good person" Nanny Lily said

"Did she stay here long?" Lucy asked

"No, she said she was checking on Simoune's situation but she will go to school because she is also the one who tells their professors about Simoune's situation" I said

"I hope she's really good because it's hard to trust now" Lucy said

"I think she's nice" I said

Lucy and I finished eating and started working on a research paper. It's very draining to find RRLs that are local, because research papers are really rare to find here in the Philippines.

I can see the stress on Lucy's face that she is going to find RRL but we already have five so it's okay, just five each and we'll both be done, It's a good thing that the two of us split up so it will be easier for me to search

I looked at Nanny Lily on a sofa who had fallen asleep, I knew Nanny Lily was very tired but I know it won't be easy until Simoune is here at the Hospital

Lucy and I were surprised when Doctor suddenly entered

"Hello, did I bother you?" Doctor asked

I immediately stood up and walked towards Doc. and Nanny Lily did the same because she was suddenly confused

"No doc" I said

"I have good news for you, Simoune can be discharged tomorrow because based on her results, her brain and skull is okay. She just needs to continue taking the medicine that was prescribed for her and take some rest and don't stress herself out" Doctor said

"Owww! That's good news, doc, once she's out, can she go to school?" Nanny Lily asked

"It depends on Miss Simoune, if she can, she can go to school as long as someone guides her to and from school" Doctor said

"Alright, thank you doctor" Nanny Lily said

The doctor came out and I saw that Nanny Lily was happy because Simoune could be brought home tomorrow

"It's good that we can take Simoune home, I can take better care of her when we're in the house than when we're here at the hospital" Nanny Lily said

"I'll help you take care of Simoune, Nanny Lily" said

"Thank you Bruce, tomorrow morning or maybe later I will tell this to Sir so he knows that Simoune can be discharged" Nanny Lily said

"Yes Nanny Lily, why didn't uncle visit Simoune?" I said because of out of question

"He is busy with work because he is chasing because he is about to leave the country but he texts me and asks how Simoune is doing, he already knows everything because I told him" Nanny Lily said

"I feel that it is also very difficult for uncle to see Simoune struggling here in the hospital" I said

"Any parent Bruce would probably have a hard time seeing their child in a hospital" Nanny Lily said

After Nanny Lily and I finished talking, I went back to what Lucy and I were doing so that we could finish it right away. It took us a few hours and my back hurt a lot

It was already 5pm in the afternoon when we finished the RRL for our research paper so Lucy immediately said goodbye to Nanny Lily because she was going home

"Nanny Lily I'm going home, thank you for the delicious dish earlier" Lucy said

“Welcome, be careful!” Nanny Lily said

"Nanny Lily, I'll drop her first in their house" I said

"Oh, go ahead and drive carefully" Nanny Lily said

We left the hospital and went to the parking lot, I could see in Lucy's eyes that she was very tired from finding RRL for the research paper

"Maybe I still won't be able to go to school tomorrow!" I said

"Yes, I know it! Just take care of Simoune!” Lucy said

“Thank you Lucy!” I said

"Welcome, as long as you help me with the research paper I will be happy with you!" Lucy said while looking at me

"Alright, I'm going to help you, I'll be a good boy to you now because you're saving my name at school" I said

"You know so much!" Lucy said

When we got to Lucy's house, she waved at me and then she entered their house. Look at Lucy, I never have a time to asked if I could pick her up and get her in school after class.

Let me chat with her tomorrow morning.

I haven't taken a shower yet, what time is it, maybe I'll pass by the house to take a shower. While driving, I can't deny that I'm happy because I found out that Simoune can go out tomorrow and I hope that her recovery will continue. I hope she recovers faster so she doesn't have to struggle with everything she's going through now
