The next day in the morning, when Xiao Xie wakes up she has a split headache "it seems I drink too much yesterday" she said as she holds her head and come down from the bed then she went to the sitting room, since they are through with their final exams, Xiao Xie did not have to go to school "mom" she call her mother who is preparing breakfast in the kitchen and went to meet her mother in the kitchen
"Mom, did you have anything I can use my head is hurting?" Xiao Xie said to her mother as she is still holding her head "who ask you to drink yesterday? You have not even finish from high school and you are drinking" her mother replies "mom, is just a little and moreover in a week I will graduate from high school" she pouts her lips and rub her eyes guiltily " how did I even get home yesterday?" Xiao Xie seems to forget everything she did yesterday
Her mother beat her softly as she look at her angrily "you should be careful next time" her mother tells her "did I do something wrong yesterday's night" she rubs where her mother beats and hug her mother's neck from the back "you don't have to worry am now a big girl" she said jokingly, her mother smile and remove her hands that were hugging her neck "take this honey water to sober up" her mother hand over the cup that contain the honey water to her, Xiao Xie drinks the honey water and put the cup down "quickly take your bath so that you can eat" her mom push her away softly, Xiao Xie reluctantly went to take her bath then her mother smile "it seems my daughter is now mature" Xiao Xie’s thinks
T he family of three sit down to eat, as they were eating, Xiao Xie suddenly remember something "mom, dad, I want to show you something" she let out and stand immediately to go to her room, her parents look at her and continue to eat, she later return with her result and happily show her parents the result "mom, dad, I made it into Peking University" she said smiling "really!" her father exclaim happily and quickly collect the result from her, he look at the result expectantly and smile "yes, I checked it yesterday" Xiao Xie tells her parents, her mother now understand why she gets drunk yesterday, so her mother smile "our baby is going to college" her father happily said, after her parents congratulates her, the two suddenly becomes sad
Xiao Xie discover that her parents were not talking anymore and she look at their faces and sees that they look sad, she did not know why they suddenly because sad since she just tell them a good news "mom, dad, what is the matter?" She asks with concern "is it about the fee for my college?" She ask curiously thinking that her parents becomes sad because of the fee "if it because of the fee you don't have to worry, I will work part time when I get to college" she try to console them
Her father sigh deeply hearing what Xiao Xie said "Xie, we have something to tell you" her father look straight at her "ever since what happen to Xin happens, your mom and I have been thinking of relocating to the village" her father tells her "village!" Xiao Xie exclaims "why?" She ask worriedly "yes the village, we are only waiting for you to get into college so that we can leave and since you are now going to college, we will leave after your graduation” her father said and continue
“We already sell this house and save all the money with the money we have, we kept all the money in an account, it should be enough for your college, we will also send you money often, your mother will visit you sometimes" her father explain and sigh, Xiao Xie could not believe what her father just said to her, she becomes dumbfounded, she stare at her parents for a long time and tears drop from her eyes then she suddenly stand and hug the two of them "thank you" she mutters sadly
Her parents both pats her back "it's okay, you should not cry, we will be okay" her mother said wanting to cry too "I will miss you" she said and release them, she finish her food reluctantly and later went inside her room, Xiao Xie's parents thinks that she will be angry because they think that she will not understand them but seeing that she understand, they think that their daughter has become mature, though they know that she is also sad about it
When Xiao Xie gets to her room she start weeping, she has never live away from her parents before but now she will live far from them while in the college, after she wept for some time, she get hold of herself, then her phone start ringing, it is Billy calling her so she pick the phone up slowly “hello” Xiao Xie said reluctantly "are you sober yet?" Billy ask her, he thinks that she is talking so low because she is not yet sober, before Xiao Xie could reply, Billy he ask her another question "what did your mom say about me?" Billy ask curiously
"What did you mean by what my mom said about you?" Xiao Xie ask because she did not understand "when I brought you home yesterday your mom saw me" Billy tell her "what!" Xiao Xie exclaims in shock "you don't need to be shock, your mom already likes me" Billy said proudly "you mean you meet my mom?" Xiao Xie ask surprise "yes, she even ask me to take good care of you" Billy reply and smile "I will call you later" Xiao Xie said and ends the call as she quickly went to meet her mother "mom" she calls but her mother already left the house, she sigh and went back into her room.
