Chapter 113 You only have five minutes to save her (The Final)

Earlier, after receiving a call from Jenny, Edward led a group of werewolves to the mall to pick her up.

"Get in the car!" Edward yelled in a hurry.

"I'm sorry, I'm terribly sorry" Jenny whimpered. There were still tears in her eyes.

"Don't say such useless words, where did those guys take her?" Edward's growl startled Jenny.

"I followed their car for a long time," Jenny stammered, "they went south, took the road out of town ...."

Before she could finish, the car had already started.

Edward stared hard ahead, anxious inside, he knew where that bastard had taken Bella. All this time, he had been investigating Fernando's whereabouts and learned that they had four strongholds on the outskirts of the city. Edward was gathering soldiers from his pack to ambush each of the strongholds today and was just about to act when he learned about Bella's kidnapping. On the other hand, Fernando had been waiting for a long time.

"Where's Bella?" Edward said coldly, with a serious look.

Inside the car, Jenny saw that the person who kidnapped Bella was Fernando. She rushed out of the car in anger, ran to him, and slapped the handsome to the core face, "You bastard! Who the hell are you? What the hell do you want to do? Why did you take Bella captive? Give her to me!"

Fernando didn't say or move, just looked at her quietly, some kind of ambiguous emotion in his eyes, like helplessness.

"Jenny, go back to the car, I'll handle this matter." Edward pulled Jenny behind him and barked at the men beside him, "Protect her."

The werewolf escorted Jenny back to the car, and Jenny took three steps back, her heart full of worries.

"So, let's get back to the subject. First of all, please be assured that Bella is safe now; secondly, you need to find her by yourself, no other of your people can go in there," Fernando gazed into Edward's eyes, a small smile, if any, flowing from the corners of his mouth as he pointed to an abandoned factory about 500 meters behind him, "she's in there "Edward could not wait to run towards the abandoned factory, Fernando took his arm to stop him, "time is limited, the factory is loaded with time bombs, you only have five minutes."

He exited this room and walked down the stairs to the second floor. There were five offices situated on the second floor, and Edward checked one by one with no luck.

He glanced hastily at his watch; half the time had passed, which meant that only two and a half minutes remained before the bomb exploded.

He looked desperately at the empty factory and wondered in his mind if this itself might be a hoax, that Bella might not be here at all, and that he would only be blown to pieces by the bomb if he persisted in his search.

He shook his head to get rid of such a terrible thought. Even if there was only a one-in-a-million chance of saving Bella, he would try.

He ran downstairs as fast as he could and searched every corner, eventually finding a door to the basement. He walked into the basement, which was filled with old furniture and nothing else. Bella wasn't here, so where else could she be? Edward angrily raised the old couch beside him and smashed it against the wall. Clang! The wall was smashed through a hole, and weak light shone through the opening. Curious, Edward walked towards the hole and looked towards the other end of the hole. At the other end of the hole was a large open space with several cars placed inside.

"Bella, are you there?"

Bang bang bang! The sound came from a pickup truck.

Edward darted over and tried to pull the door open, only to find it locked. He smashed the window glass with his fist.

"Edward, you're finally here." Bella cried.

"Climb out, there's only one minute left and this place is going to explode." Edward urged.

Bella climbed out of the broken window, her knees and calves were cut with a blood-red scar by the sharp glass.

Edward shifted into his wolf form and ran out of the factory with Bella on his back. Behind them, the factory exploded and burst into flames.

Outside the factory, Fernando, Jenny, and the others were gone. Looking at Edward's confused eyes, Bella embraced him, and whispered in his ear: "Actually, I already know everything, including your secret," meeting his stunned gaze, she smiled tenderly and continued: "Fernando left two letters, one was for me, which told about your past, including the secret of your pretended disability."

"Sorry," Edward scratched his head in embarrassment, "where is the other letter?"

"Here it is." Bella took a letter out of her pocket and handed it to Edward.

Edward opened the letter and read it.

My dear friend.

If you read this letter, then congratulations, you have successfully passed my test, for which I am very happy. I admire your courage and I'm moved by the love you and Bella have for each other.

I am on my way to the airport and will stay in Spain for the next year.

You are not completely safe during this period. Please be very careful with my father.
