Every words he spoke got her tangled up with fear as she tried to explain.
"It was a mistake!"
"You shouldn't have trespassed in the first place!" He barked. They were both in the study room and books kept falling off the shelves at his thunderous phrases.
"You've caused nothing but trouble since your arrival!" He furthered and she frowned at him.
"If you haven't abducted me then all of this wouldn't have happened!" She snapped attempy not to cry as he was more scarier than ever, there was no switch in this place and so she doubt if the light might be a weapon against. He banged his hands on the table and his eyes were filled with terror.
"I would have lost someone because of you...argh"Arghh" he wailed thinking of what he was probably going to do to this woman
because he couldn't detrou her when she
was all he needed to break the curse. Her
cry disrupt his thoughts and he ogled at her
irritated,.
"Stop that!" He ordered but she increased
her tears. She had been holding the hurtful
words and only tears could explain it, she
was a kind of person who cried when she
doesn't do what she wished to do to
someone who hurt her. Evelyn couldn't hold
it anymore as she intended to say more to
him but he got her more scared that she
had to tear up. What was he going to do to, mostly when her tears disturbed him
from reasoning.
"You're at fault too! Do... you...think.l.
wanted this to happen?" She furthered
stressing her words as her voice choked
"If you would just stay put to one position,
them it wouldn't have gone this far!" He
snarled and her tears became louder, he
stormed at her but she quickly rushed to the
door and got out terrified that he might
harm as he usually does, this time around,
she might break a bone. Rather than
heading to her room, she locked herself in
Colton's room because that was where he
was kept to recover. He had been shot with
wolfbane and Evelyn didn't notice it as she
had thought the flute that played reminded
him of a tragic incident but it was a
distraction. His eyes fluttered as he felt a
liquid touch his bare skin. His eyes rolled to
where the liquid poured from and he found
Evelyn bury her head on his arm,she was
seated on a stool made of fur and cotton
while leaning to her body to the bed. Colton
gazed at her as she was crying seriously
and shivering too that he had to raise her head just to take a look at her.
"What's wrong?" He muttered attempting to rise from the bed and she wiped her tears. Evelyn couldn't give a reply as she glanced at the place where Colton was injured.
"I'm sorry" she whispered as he placed his hands on her cheeks.
"It's okay, did he make you scared?" Colton teased with a brief smile and she nodded while holding his palms that were still on her cheeks.
"Don't show you're scared, it's the only way you can survive his rage" he advised and she stared at Colton who was smiling like though nothing went wrong, she felt butterflies suddenly hovering in her stomach which made her eyes met his lips that where whispering words of comfort to her. Her heart was still troubled but this man made it seemed like though it was all okay and she suddenly felt an urge to touch those lips of hers. He just made her losein his serene voice that she had no choice than to hug him as erotic desires suddenly filled up her head. Colton was surprised though as he rubbed her hair gently while placing his jaw on her head, Alex must have frighten the hell out of her and he could feel how petrified she was because her was still quivering. His body tingled as she cuddled him the more with her head buried on his broad chest that was had no clothes covering it, she had seen those alluring abs of his earlier and now she was touching them. She hoist her head a bit as she met his eyes that didn't seem like one with dark desires. Evelyn placed her hand on his injury which had healed up, she let out a smile of satisfaction and gave him an ardent kiss as she whimpered in his mouth demanding for more, her hands were round his neck kissing him the more, Colton was lost in her passionately kiss, as he could feel the moist of her lips all over his face but he got hold of himself and quickly stopped her with a sigh.
"We shouldn't be doing this" he muttered with a wry smile as she licked her lips subconsciously while shoving her gaze away, what was she thinking off? couldn't she just control herself from surrendering to her erotic demands. She was too ashamed to stare at Colton, how was she going to face him in the morning? Her mind was void as she felt slutty right that moment and In a hast, she apologized, stood up to leave but a knock was heard on the door which got her eyes closed.
"I don't want to see him please" she said in between her teeth and Colton heard her. He didn't seemed like one offended by her actions as it only got him bewildered perhaps she only did that out of anxiety and needed a solace that deal with having a man on bed."Hide over here" he said as she quickly tiptoed to where he directed her to hide. Once he was sure she wouldn't be sighted, he got the door opened and found Alex peeping if perhaps the troublesome lady might be there. Colton stepped out and closed his door which indirectly asking him why he was there.
"To check up on you of course" Alex said and Colton could tell from his eyes that he was there for Evelyn.
