SONG OF CHAPTER: Beautiful In White ~ Westlife

A continuous annoying sound made me groan so early in the morning. I roll over to the other side of my bed but the sound persisted.

I don't have an alarm clock so what exactly is that noise?!

I cover my ears with my duvet but it was of no use. With another groan I sit up on my bed.

I sat on my bed with a huge frown on my face and then the annoying sound stopped. I took a deep breath and was about to lay back down before I heard someone yell something.

"Everyone wake up! It's Kyle's wedding today!" The voice echoced and it was as if my brain picked up signals because my eyes widened and my frown turned upside down.

"It's my wedding today!" I repeated over and over again.

I pushed my room door open and found Emily parading the hallway announcing my wedding.

"Good you're awake." She smirked as soon as she saw me.

"Did you really have to wake up so early?!" I asked in a harsh tone.

"Early? It's six in the morning, your wedding is starting at nine today. Do you still think it's early?" She shot back and I stood quiet.

"Go brush your teeth teeth! Take a bath already!" She ordered and I immediately went to do as I was told.

I smiled to myself once I saw my reflection in the bathroom mirror. I'm getting married today.

I brushed my teeth, flossed and used mouth wash. I checked out my Pearl white teeth before proceeding to take a bath.

After I finished taking a bath, I saw an ash colored Gucci suit with matching trouser and a belt that also had the same design.

As I picked it up to wear a note fell to the floor from the suit. I picked it up and it read,  don't put it on now, come have breakfast first.

Judging by the handwriting, I would say that the note was written by Emily.

I out on casuals and headed downstairs, I could see my mom and Emily discussing something while my father stood close to the door with his phone placed on his ear.

Emily noticed me and pulled me to the dining table where different food were placed.

"I'm not even hungry yet and it's still so early!" I complained.

"I know but you have to because it will take a while before you will be able to get food again today." My mother pitched in.

Realizing that arguing went work with the two women, I ate a few slices of bread and drank a cup of coffee.

"I'm going to Alexis' to help her get ready." My mom announced before leaving.

She will look absolutely beautiful in white.

After eating, I got dressed and soon we were already on our way to church. We were joined by Ashton who looked dashing in in black Versace tux.

Wooden we arrived at church only few people were there already and so was the priest. Everyone walked into the church before me and I was joined by Brian as we both walked down the aisle together.

We stood side by side at the end of the aisle and everyone took their seats again. From my peripheral vision, I could notice Brian's tux, it was everything but simple. The prints imprinted on his black suede Versace tux was truly magnificent.

"I'm so nervous, I'm sweating so much." Brian whispered to me.

"I know bro! I'm itching to see my Alexis in her dress." I shot back and he shook his head.

"That's all? You don't feel anxious or anything?"

"Of course I feel anxious! I'm anxious to see her walk down that aisle stand next to me as my wife."

"I kn-"

He got interrupted when the music started playing and both our eyes were pinned to the door to see our respective brides.

First two little girls walked in, spraying flowers on the red carpet. Followed by the bridesmaids and then I saw a white dress and my smile widened. As she walked closer and closer, I realized it was Penelope whose eyes were glued to Brian.

The music paused then started playing again and that was when a queen walked slowly and gracefully towards me, my smile wouldn't bend and my heart began racing as she walked over to me.

Today is the best day of my life, and I am certain of it.

After some prayers and ceremonies, it was finally time to exchange rings. Brian and Penelope exchanged theirs first after saying their vows. Our rings were brought by Kylie who had the biggest smile in the room.

"Do you, Alexis Christina Coleman take Kyle Carter Matthews to be your lawfully wedded husband? To love and to have? In sickness and in health? And for as long as you both shall live?" The priest asked Alexis.

"Yes. Yes I do." She answered.

"And so you, Kyle Carter Matthews take Alexis Christina Coleman to be your lawfully wedded wife? To-"

"Yes I do." I interrupted.

The priest looked at the congregation, "If you know a reason why these two couples should not be joined together, speak now or forever hold your peace." But there was no response so he continued. "By the power vested in me by the Lord, I now pronounce you husbands and wife, you both may kiss your brides."

With that being said, I lifted up the transparent veil that covered her face and gently kissed Alexis- my wife and everyone cheered.

After the church wedding, we all gathered at Penelope's house for a small party which included just family and friends.

At the party, I noticed a blonde girl who looked oddly familiar but I just couldn't remember where I saw her.

"Congratulations guys!" Ashton congratulated Brian and I with a hug.

"Thanks bro!" Brian thanked.

"Remember I told you all that I'd introduce you to my girlfriend at your wedding, well here she is." Ashton said and the same blonde girl stood beside him.

"Congratulations." She smiled.

"Thanks. I'm Brian and that's Ky-"

"Why are you introducing yourself such when you both already know each other?"

"We don't-"

"Rather say you don't remember. This is Jasmine, remember the one from high school?" He said.

"Jasmine! Oh hey! How have you been? I'm sorry I didn't recognize you." Brian apologised.

"It's fine, I just wanted to congratulate you both." She continued.

"You look well. How did you and Ash meet again?" I questioned and she chuckled.

"That's a long story." She answered.

"Hey guys!" Alexis came to us but she froze sth she saw Jasmine again.

Does she recognize her?

"Jasmine?" She stuttered.

Well that answered that question.

"Congrats Lexi. I know I couldn't apologise for what happened years ago but I'll apologise now, I'm sorry." Jasmine replied.

"It's okay. Everything happens for a reason, I'm actually glad whatever happened, happened." Alexis said.

"Are you sure?" Jasmine asked and Alexis nodded her head.

"What about Andy?" Alexis asked.

"He would have also attended the wedding with me just that he had a family emergency."

"Oh, but how's he doing?"

"Pretty good. He's a professor now but I guess he never really got over you as he refused to date since then." Jasmine explained and I let out a snort.

"That's-"

"Gather around everyone, let's take a photo." My mom interrupted as everyone ran towards us to pose for the picture.

SIX YEARS LATER

"Stop splashing water on me!" Kylie demanded but she just wouldn't stop splashing water at Kylie.

"Mom! Tell Emerald to stop splashing water at me." Kylie asked me.

"Emmy, stop splashing water at your sister!" Alexis scolded and relaxed back into her seat.

"Daddy, Kylie doesn't want me to play with her." Emerald reported to me after she came out of the swimming pool.

"She just said you shouldn't splash water at her not that she doesn't want to play." I told her.

"Emmy come here let's draw on this coloring book." Kylie called Emerald around stuff happily skipped to her sister.

After drawing and coloring, they went and showed Alexis their drawing. That sight was the most beautiful sight ever.

The woman I love.

The girls I adore.

Together.

That is all I need.
