I woke up feeling happy with the world, after all everything was finally falling into place.

The most important agenda I have today is Penelope- To talk to her that is.

I took a bath and got dressed then immediately went down for breakfast. Everyone were already seated.

"Good morning family!" I greeted with a huge grin.

"Ah! My eyes! My eyes!" Emily shouted shielding her eyes.

"Sooner woke up at the right side of the bed, don't you think?" My father said top my mother.

"You all are overreacting!" I smirk and take a sit.

"So, the lawy-" my father began before I cut him off.

"There's no need for a lawyer anymore." I dismissed immediately, waving my hand.

"Did Steve change her mind?" My mother curiously asked.

"Yes. She let me see her yesterday." I confessed.

"No wonder you were elated this done morning."

"Now dad, I would like you to speak to Penelope's father. I don't think there should be any secrets between us." I suggested and my father nodded in approval.

"What about you? Did you tell Penelope yet?" My mother asked again.

"I think you both will get a shock after speaking to Mr Stewart. So if you both don't mind, I'll take my leave now." I smirked and left the table.

This drama had gone on long enough, Penelope had to tell her parents today! Even before my parents reach hers.

I brought my phone, went through my contacts and called Penelope. It's ringing, why is she not answering?

I dialed it one more time.

"The number you're trying to reach is no-"

I decided on sending a text message instead.

Penelope, I'm not mad at you anymore. Just answer my call so we can fix this mess. I tapped send and waited.

It wasn't up to two minutes when my phone started vibrating.

Typical Penelope. Artists trying to run away from her problems.

I tapped answer and she didn't say anything. Almost like she was waiting for me to speak first.

"Penelope, are you there?"

"Y-yes."

"I'm coming over. Are you at home?" I asked.

"Yep. I'm home." She answered in a hush tone.

That was all I wanted to hear so I hung up the phone and drove straight to her house.

I was greeted by her Butler, who opened the door for me and I made my way too her room.

She sat beside the window looking outside, she definitely saw me pull into the house.

I cleared my throat to make my presence known her attention diverted from outside to me.

I walked towards her and she got up to face me.

"Kyle I'm sorry. I didn't mean to lie to yo-"

"Penelope it's okay," I laughed. "I spoke to Brian already, we sorted it out."

"Oh," she paused. "But still, I lied to you. I know you really don't like lies, I was scared of how your reaction would be if I had told you that the child want yours and you were Edo happy! I just couldn't bring myself to tell you."

"I'll admit that I was hurt but a lot happened to me the past few days and then when I found you and Brian together, it was just the icing on the cake. But I decided to fix everything, so I had a conversation with Brian and with someone else."

"What happened before that?"

"Yes. Another reason I wanted to see you. Well, turns out I have a child with someone from high school."

"Wow!" She gaped then chuckled. "The girl you cheated on Alexis with or Alexis herself?" Dude asked.

"Alexis Alexis. The girl herself."

"Wow! Congratulations I guess. How'd you meet her though?"

It seems Alexis didn't tell her yet.

"Alexis has been her the whole time. I found it I had a child myself."

"What does that even mean?"

I shrugged and there room fell silent.

"Did you tell your father yet?" I asked.

"Yes. I told him before he left this morning and as expected, here was angry but he became very supportive and promised he'd talk to your family about it."

I sighed.

"What about the marriage? It's being called off right?"

"I guess so."

"Let's get one thing straight. You love Brian don't you?"

She nodded.

"You meet her and fell in love with her again right?"

I nodded.

"I like that we're both with those that we are in love with." See commented.

"Well I wouldn't say that we are together, it's quite complicated."

"But you wish you were?"

I nodded again.

"Kyle, let's stay like this. Friends that can talk to each other, deal?"

"Deal!"

I spent my day talking to Penelope about her relationship with Brian, when it started, how it started and I was pretty shocked by the answers she gave.

Turns out they never stopped loving each other every after Brian went abroad to further his education and also that they sneaked around after they met here recently.

I should have been mad, but I wasn't. I found it quite funny and romantic actually. It also helped me feel less guilty about the things that went on with Alexis while I was still engaged with her.

I spent the past week hanging out with Kylie and getting to know her likes and dislikes. I found out her favorite color is blue because of her eyes and that she loves chocolate flavored ice cream and also that she loves watching Barbie cartoons because she gets to watch it with her mom, most of the time.

Alexis was still neutral top me and stop wanted to be friends even though she knows about Brian and Penelope.

I don't even know what friends mean at this point.

My family also found out that Alexis was Kylie's mother. They were confused as thru thought her name was Mackenzie. My dad got over it easier because he liked her before but my mom still held grudges.

My family and I gathered for dinner. My father said he had an announcement that will only be shared during a special dinner.

"My dear family!" My father shouted even though we were already seated right next to him.

"We are going to have a special famiky dinner tomorrow where I hope to make a big announcement."

I frowned. "So what makes this dinner special? Why's it different from all the ones we have?"

"I'm glad you asked that because you! You are going to make the dinner special." He answered immediately.

"I'm confused."

"Well, you have been seeing my grandchild for awhile now and I think it's time we all get to meet her don't you think?"

"Dad, she's just getting to know m-"

"Enough! Invite her and Mackenzie over!" My father ordered and I sigh.

"Alexis dad! Her name's Alexis." I reminded

"It's her fault for confusing us the first time." He defended himself.

This should be fun.
