Chloe Montclair

It has been two weeks after all the misunderstandings between Ken's parents and me. Sometimes, I cried myself to bed, and sometimes, I hope everything will come back to how it used to be. I was supposed to take out my revenge on Seb and his wife but, I've been too down to do that.

Today, I decided to dress up and go to the board meeting at Seb's company. Did I tell you within these past weeks, Ken has helped crumbled him so badly and now, I owned 52% shares in that company which, I partially now becomes the owner. I have been receiving lots of threats from him and even had a meal with his wife, my sister.

She also threatened me to leave her husband alone or else she would hurt me. I made my identity known to her and she almost hug me the moment she knew I was Chloe, she burst into her fake tears, apologized to me and even told me some things about Seb, like; he's not who I think he's and I shouldn't cross his path.

Like, I was going to believe her anyway.

I told her, I'm not ready to forgive her yet, not until she pays for what she's done to me and walk out on her.

"Hey! You're going out this early, too?." Janet hissed and rolled her eyes. I heard, both Ken and Tiana had to meet some new business investors this morning about the designed shoes, bags, and dresses they made already so, they both left for the meeting.

"Yes, I have a board meeting to attend and also lunch meeting with Mr. Regen by 10:30 am sharp so, I can't waste time."

"Whatever! I hate you two." She pouts. I mentally laugh. It's hard to believe that this lady here runs a big mall. I mean, she's the owner and not only that, she owns a very big boutique too but you can't detect that. She always behaves like she's got nothing to do for a living.

"Oh my poor baby, don't cry." I tried to hug her but the doorbell stopped me.

Both Janet and I looked at each other confused. Who could it be? "Are you expecting someone?" I asked facing her and she shook her head.

I walk towards the door, opened it, and was shocked when I saw who was standing by the door. It's Ken's parents.

"Yo.. your excellency" I stuttered. I also see no guards behind them.

"Can we come in?" Mr. Domanco asked.

"Y.. ye.. yes sir." I moved and make way for them. My friend is as shocked as I was and at the same time, mom walked out of the kitchen and her eyes landed on Ken's parents.

They greeted each other with Janet and we all take a sit. I waited patiently for Janet's mom to burst at me because I'm very positive they came hear to warn me again. Ken and I have been seeing each other despite all his mom's threats to leave her son. "Chloe, we have come to see you." His mom said surprisingly, in a calm tone.

I'm still sweating from within and so was my palm too, my heart is beating fastly.

When they both told me they gave their support to be with their son, I almost jump up in joy even though, I was shocked. I never expect that from them. Ken's mom especially apologized for all she's said to me and even promise to make it up to me... I had no idea of what she was talking about though.

I was so happy and so was Janet too. She hugged her Aunt tightly and thanked them. Before they left, she told me she would organize a small family gathering at their home and I'm invited. She said, it was specifically organized for me and I can't be happier than this.

I promised myself to inform Ken about the good news when I'm done with all my meetings since he will also be busy too.

I got in my car outside Ken's so-called company and a deep sigh left my lip. I end up arguing with Seb as he was not ready to heed my suggestion. Before I could ignite the car engine, I got a message from Janet, my sister to spare her time, she would like to talk with me- the message said.

I was on my way to go meet with Mr. Regen when suddenly, a car from nowhere almost hit mine and I stepped on my break instantly panting so hard.

Oh my goodness! What just happened? I slowly open my eyes and saw two giant guys walking down from the car towards mine. I got out to challenge them and the next thing I knew, I was in one of the other guy's arms and darkness took over me.

Kenneth Domanco

I was in a meeting with my new business investors I just met a few months back with Tiana besides me when John's call, my personal guard came in. I excuse myself and pick it up.

"Boss, it's done. He fell into the trap." He announced.

"Fuck! I know he was going to do something drastic. Text me the location, I will be on my way now." I said.

"Roger that, boss." He answered and I hang up the call.

"I'm so sorry my Francis, can Ms. Salvador round up the meeting in my place? Something urgent came up now and it's a life and death... I have to be there please." I beseech them. We were about to hit a multi-billion deal with them if they were impressed with our presentation. Though the money is important, Chloe's safety is much more important to me.

They all look at me confused including, Tiana. I had thought they were going to be upset but instead, they told me to inform my assistant to reschedule the meeting and that they would wait.

I was more than happy.

"Thank you! Thank you so much." I jumped up from my seat and walk out in a hurry but, a small delegate's hand held my arm stopping me from moving. "Ken, what's going on?."

"Chloe, she's in danger. I... I need to leave now" I tried to leave but she stopped me again.

"Which of the Chloe are you talking about? My Chloe?! You mean, my Chloe is in trouble? How? When? What happened and why is she in danger?" She bombards me with questions.

"I can't explain anything for now, I need to leave. I will do that while I'm back."

"No! We're leaving together. This is about Chloe." She said in a worried tone.

"Whatever! Come with me."

I called Andrew since he's a senior officer. "Hey! Missed me?  I believe we saw each other just 2 days back" He teased.

Idiot! He never knows when to make a joke and when not to. "Mistake, I need your help. Chloe, she's been kidnapped." I announced as I entered my car with Tiana seating in the passenger's whilst she tried calling her family, probably to buzz the news to them.

"What are you trying to do?" I took the phone from her and hang the call up before it could start ringing on the other side.

"I'm trying to inform mom and Janet. They need to know"

I rolled my eyes. "Tiana, do not do anything stupid please, you'll only make them more worried. I can handle this."

"Wait, that girl is right beside you again?" Andrew hissed. "So, what do I do now? Tell me?" He added.

"I need a few officers. You're aware I can deal with this on my own but, Chloe would never appreciate that. This is what she has always wanted."

"Roger that, text me the address... I'm personally coming there with my men. This involves Chloe and I have to do all that I can to save her." I hang up the call and forward the address to him.

"Ken, I'm scared.". Her friend said in a worried tone.

"Do not be. I've been preparing for a day like this. I knew, he was going to do something stupid and that's why I lay a trap for him." I assured her.

My love just gives me 20 minutes, I will be there to save you from that bastard!

Chloe Montclair

I fluttered my eyes open and saw him standing right in front of me. I'm still it sure if what I see is right or not.

What's happening? Where am I and, what is Seb doing here? I could remember I was almost hit by a car and some guys showed up from nowhere, hit me and here I'm... In a strange place.

I look around but, I still can't detect this place at all.

"Welcome back to earth." He says to me.

"Shut up, you bastard, and tell me where is this place you have brought me?!" I spat at him in anger as he walk closer to me and slapped me hard across my face.

"Why are you after my company? Who are you and what do you want from me?" He asked in rage. But before I could answer him, someone barged in.

It's Janet, my sister.

"Chloe!!!" She exclaimed before running towards to me. "Are you okay? Are you hurt? Did he do anything to you? Tell me, are you fine?" She bombards me with questions as she inspects my body in a worried state.

"Babe, what are you doing here? How the fuck did you get to know about this place?" He questioned her in a confused state. She moved closer to him and slapped him so hard across his face. I just stood there like a statue, I had no idea of what to do or say. Everything happening to me right now is just like a dream and I wish to wake up from it before time runs out.

"What do you think, you're doing?! She's

Chloe, my sister!"

"What?!!"

"You heard me right. So, let her go. This time around, I'm ready to protect her with all I have so please, do not do anything stupid and let go." She beseeches him.

"Let her go? Wow! What a great bonding! Are you betraying me now?" He asked in a disappointed tone.

"You're getting it all wrong. I regret all that I did to my sister. I want to make up for my past mistakes, Seb. You have to do that too."

"Shit! Just shut your mouth up! Didn't I warn you, Janet? Haven't I warned you enough never to bring up this crazy girl's name or, even try to support her? Haven't I?" He said to her in a dangerous tone.

If I have an idea of what's going on then, I'm only deceiving myself. None of what's happening here I understand a bit.

"Seb, stop this nonsense, please. Just stop it!" All of a sudden, he brings out a gun. Both Janet and I widened our eyes in horror.

"Se... Sebastian. What are you doing with a gun? Are you crazy?!!" His wife burst at him.

"Janet, stay away from this. I don't want to hurt you." He warned as he suddenly point the gun at me. She blocked me with a big body. She's more chubbier than how I used to know her to be. Maybe, it's because of her pregnancy. I looked at her shocked. What's she trying to do? Didn't she hate me? I thought, she never liked and doesn't want to set eyes on me so.. what's this drama she's portraying?

"Sebastian, I said to stop this" She warned him again.

"Tell me why you're doing this? Because of the company? You of all people is aware that sister is the rightful owner of that company if we hadn't taken it away from her"

"I don't care! She deserves what I'm doing to her now. All this wouldn't have happened if she had not killed him!" He burst and tears roll down his cheeks.

What's he talking about?

"What are you saying?."

"She.. she killed my brother! She and your father killed my brother!" He burst again.

Years back, while we were kids. I was waiting for Dad to pick me up at the entrance of my school, while he was driving towards me, I think, he lost control of the break and his car almost hit me but, he turned his wheel and was ready to get hurt instead of me, the car turned to the other side and mistakenly hit a boy of my age instead. He was playing with his brother and that elder brother was seriously shedding tears while we were on our way to the hospital.

I looked at Seb and asked. "You're the boy?"

I could remember, he kept on blaming himself for not being able to save his kid brother. He kept on crying and continuously blaming himself for being useless.

"But, he didn't die. He was fine and was discharged back home the following day." I said.

"That same incident made me useless. I became useless and unable to save him whenever he was in danger and that was why I lost him because I couldn't save him. It was all because of you"

I do not know what to do or say. So, Sebastian is that boy while we were kids? And also, his brother is dead?

"So, now what? You're taking revenge for your brother, on me?"

"At first, when I learn that you were the girl who made me this way... I hated you and all I wanted to do was to kill you but then, I met Janet. I fell in love with her and I couldn't even have the mind to hurt you or your family. I was ready to let go of everything not until she told me she wanted to take over your father's business and she hates the fact that she always has to ask you for money before you can give it to her." He said and I looked at my sister shocked.

"We were living fine but, you showed up again and tried to ruin the company I've worked so hard on for the past years. I won't stay still this time around. I will have to kill you and make you pay for all the things you've done." He said as he pull the trigger of his gun.

"What nonsense are you talking about? Do any of these make any sense to you? Does it worth fighting for? She was just a kid and she had no idea of anything! When did you become a monster?!!" My sister burst angrily at him.

Suddenly, I pushed Janet behind my back protectively and face him. "You want me right? It's fine but, you have to make me a promise, you're never going to hurt my sister and spare her. I was the one who just you, agreed but, don't you dare hurt her else, I'm going to come back alive and kill you with me." I threatened him.

"Be worried about yourself before you do to others. Janet is my wife and I love her so much. You don't have to tell me how to protect and care for my wife." He smirked and the door suddenly burst open as Ken, Andrew, Tiana and some officers barged in but, it was too late.

He pulled the trigger already.
