"You can't be serious right now! I need to get out from this place!" I burst angrily at Ken's men blocking my way right now from going out. It's been two days already after the incident. I can't go out nor do anything. He just kept me here like a used dress that has been forgotten.

"I'm sorry ma'am but, we can't do that. We receive an order not to let you out."

"And, who gave that stupid order?."

"I did." A voice said behind them.

Of course, I know who the voice belongs to . The almighty Ken himself.

They all bowed their head to him. "You can leave. " He ordered.

"What do you think you're doing, Ken? I'm not your prisoner, I hope you know that!" I glared at him.

"Come with me." That was the only thing he said before sauntering up to his room.

I got in an saw him sitting comfortably on his couch. Acting like everything is fine when nothing good is happening here between us. And my friends, those betrayal, they don't pick my calls neither do they return them. After the day Nanny brought in my food, she's no where to be found.

I know, that was all Ken's doing.

"Sit." He ordered. Without arguing further with him, I did as I was told.

"I drop the charges against him."

When he said 'him' it's Sebastian. "What?!! Why would you do such a thing without consulting me first?!"

"Calm down, Chloe."

"Do not tell me to calm down. How can I do that at this moment?! This is my opportunity to get back at him and make him pay for all he's done to me but, you went ahead and drop charges against him?! I thought, you were on my side."

"Of course, I'm on your side! Look, I have my reasons okay? Besides, it's for your own good."

"My own good? Ken, why don't you tell me... You now wants to control my life because seriously, I don't understand you anymore." I asked him in a bitter tone.

"Releasing him would make him wants to come for you again for the second time. He denied wanting to hurt you at all cost. He kept saying, he only wanted to confirm if you're his long lost sister."

"W... Wh... What?!!!"

"Shocked, right? We couldn't press charges against him as he kept on insisting he wouldn't hurt you and he believes, you're his sister."

"Is he mad?! His sister? How? How can I be related to a murderer and scum like him?."

"He will come again for you for the second time and this time around, there would be prove. He won't get out from it this time around."

"Are you crazy, Ken?! Despite knowing I could get hurt and yet, you released him?."

"You wanted this too and that's why, you want to take a revenge on him. I'm sure, you have it in mind you could get hurt at anytime despite knowing the risk in this." He said in a cold tone.

This jerk!!

"Stay for one more day... The doctor advised to let you rest for few days before engaging in any activity. This is for your own good. I also do not have the intention to keep you here in my house, after tomorrow.. you can leave and I don't care." He told me and get up to leave the room. But before I could say a word, he slam the door shut.

Really? Really, Kenneth Domanco? This is what you intend to do to me?

Next Day

I got home and was greeted by my friends. I believe, they had no idea I will be coming home today. I watch them slowly got up and tried running to their rooms but stopped them. "You two don't have to hide, I saw you." I hissed and slump myself on the couch.

"Hey! How are you feeling now?." Tiana asked as they both walk closer to me.

"As you can see, I'm fine. I can't believe you two abandoned me when I needed you the most! You left me all alone with that arrogant man!"

"Hey! Hey! Watch your tongue, he's my brother." Janet warned.

"Do I look like I care? And you, why aren't you picking up your calls? I called you severally but you never pick up nor return my calls. Are you now in same team with them?." I asked Janet.

"Come on, Chloe.. don't be like this.. huh? Ken told us the doctor advised you to take a rest for some few days... If you come home, you might not listen to us that's why we agreed to make you stay there with him at least, for some few days."

"Whatever!" I rolled my eyes at them.

"How is mom? Where's she?." She was the only person who talk to me while my friends were busy snubbing me.

"She left with mom to go for some check up. Today is their appointment with the doctor." Janet replied. "So, how are you feeling now? Better?."

"Get out! I don't want to talk to you."

"Stop being silly, Chloe. You know, all that we did was for your own good."

"Whatever! I don't care!" I got up and sauntered to my room.

I was resting in my room when my room burst open. "Do you-" I stopped in my mid sentence as I saw mom.

"Mom." I called as I tried to get up but she stopped me.

"It's fine." She pass me a small smile. "You're okay now?."

"Yes. I will be going to work tomorrow."

"That's good. Chloe, I don't know if this is the right time to ask you but... Can you spare me few minutes out of your time?."

"Sure, mom. Talk to me, what's it? Is anything bothering you?."

"Not really. Please, I do not want you to take this in a wrong side okay? Why did you lie to Kate and her family that your name is Vivian?." She asked and my eyes got widened in shock.
