"Ken, what's this?." She asked him confusedly as she stared into the paper in her hands.

"Why don't you go through it first?." He advised. She did as she was told and widened her eyes in horror. This is freaking his property documents- she thought.

"Max, what's all this?."

"Actually... I plan to make everything yours now and, it's right there with you. I'm also planning to buy a new house we're going to start a new family in, a house of your taste so... I'll also be getting that in your name." He said to her smiling.

"What?!!!"

"What are you saying? These... These are your properties, Ken, including cars too. I don't understand you, why is it stating that it's all mine now? Why are you buying your house in my name?  I mean, you want... No, I mean, you're transferring all of your properties in my name? Are you crazy or something?."

"And... neither did you bother to inform me before taking up this decision? We're not even married yet and you've decided to take up this huge decision? What does this mean?."

"I knew you will act up this way, you would never have agreed to my decision if I had talked to you about it, and that's why I never informed you anything about my decision. But now, I got you and I know that right now you have no other choice but to sign these papers." He said smiling and acting all calm, like- it was the best thing, he has ever done in his life.

"No way! I'm not signing this Ken, I have a choice and that choice is that I won't sign this thing. So, you should take it away from here because I won't sign these papers."

"You have to sign them, Vivian."

"No, I won't. I won't do anything of such. You must be crazy Ken!   I mean, what made you think, that giving me all of the things that you owned is the best thing to do? This is craziness, Max! You worked so hard before getting up to this stage even though, you haven't made that much yet and now, just like that, you're transferring everything to me? Who does that? No man in this world would do such a thing."

"There's Vivian, and I'm one of those men. I trust you my love and that's why I'm entrusting everything to you. I know, what I'm doing so please, accept my decision and argue no more."

"No way Vivian! Never in my life will I accept this crazy decision of yours. What do you want people to say?  What will they think about me? I ought to be your wife and not just some woman who will just take up all of your rights from you just like that. After working so hard for everything then you're giving them to me? I'm not penniless too, you know. What will your parents think about me? Ken, if this is all a joke then please, you better stop it because never will I ever accept this crazy decision you've decided to take." she stubbornly rejects his offer.

I don't know what has gotten into him all of a sudden and why he's acting this strange. He had asked me to come to meet him at his house, as he wanted us to discuss something important and this is what he called important in his dictionary. Like seriously?  Besides, these properties are not enough for one to acquire... I... I want something like Nathan's. Okay, what's wrong with me- She mentally scolds herself.

"Why don't you stop worrying about what people would say? Look, Vivian, I love you a lot, more than my own life, more than you can ever imagine but you know; it always pains me whenever you bring up things like this... Especially about people's opinions when this is about us. So, please... Just stop it already. I've been with you for years and I know, you're far different from the woman that would hurt me. You're far different from that. I just need you to understand me, my love, I have my reason for taking up this step."

"And, what might it be? For what reason would you decide to give everything that you owned to me just like that? And for whatever reason it might be my love, you don't have to change everything and buy things in my name! This is your sweat, your hard earned money and you want to give all of that to a stranger just like that?."

"You're not a stranger. You were never a stranger and would never be a stranger to me Vivian, you live in me, my other half. You're my life, my heartbeat, my world, and my everything. I cherish you a lot and above all, I trusted you a lot and that's why I want you to please trust me too and just sign these papers."

"No, I won't. It's better you get mad at me and never talk to me for some days than to sign these papers because I will never do that."

"Really?."

"Really."

"Are you sure that you will never sign these papers?."

"I'm damn serious Ken. This is craziness, so stop this silly drama of yours and let me go home if you do not have anything better to say to me. You made me come here for no reason."

"If, you do not sign them, then... I won't allow you to leave here and you know the consequences... Don't you?  First, your Aunt won't like the idea that you stayed up late outside when it's already just a few days before your wedding, and secondly, do you know who will benefit from it the most? I, Kenneth Domanco...  That's an opportunity for me to keep you all to myself, just you and I. So... What do you think? Do you want to stay here with me, and get scolded by your Aunt or, you sign these papers easily?  You choose wisely babe, the ball is now in your hands."

"Are you threatening me?!"  She asked, stunned.

"No! No, no babe, I'm not. I'm just trying to make you understand me. You thought, I'm doing all of these for no reason but there's a big reason behind it.".

"And, what is this reason behind it that you had to transfer all of your wealth in my name?."

"Because you're the only person who can take care of it when I'm gone."

"Wh... What?!!  Gone? Go to where Ken? What nonsense are you spurting out of your mouth?  It's less than a week to our wedding and you're leaving already? What are you thinking? What will happen to me then if you leave? What will people think of me?  What are you saying, Ken?." She bombarded him with so many questions.

"Please calm down my love, that's not what I mean. I meant, if anything should happen to me, you're the only person who can take good care of my properties."

" What is going to happen to you? Nothing is going to happen to you. Ken please, stop scaring me already. I don't know what you're thinking but whatever you're thinking will never come true. You won't leave me?."

" I won't leave you but you can never tell, anything might happen to me and that's why you have to be in the care of everything from now on. I wouldn't want you to be affected at all in any way if anything should happen to me so, you will listen to me and do as I say... Okay?."

"But..... I don't think-"

"Babe, do you trust me?."

" Of course, I do."

" Then sign these papers. For goodness sake! You're such a drama queen. For how long are we going to continue to drag this issue, we've been on it for quite a time now."

" It's your fault, if you had told me the reason at first may be, I would have considered doing as you've said."

"Crazy man! I don't know who transferred all of their documents in their fiancee's name only in the name of future purposes." She murmured under her breath.

" I heard you, babe."

" Well, it's meant for you to."

" Whatever! But for now, you'll have to sign them... Okay?."

"Okay."
