She came out looking so beautiful and elegant. I couldn't take my eyes off her for a while.

She, made me remember the past. Sometimes, I feel they look so much alike but at the same time... Their personality is still different from each other. Vivian used to be a caring and considerate person but, she changed all of a sudden.

I could remember when all I had then in the past... I was ready to make it hers, I was ready to make her mine and spend the rest of my life with her. Seeing Chloe in this dress of hers, how beautiful she looks, made me remember her.

Flashback

If you could see what I see in you then, you'll know that you are the answer to all of my prayers.

And if you could feel what I feel, you would also know that it was God who had sent you to me.

Our first meeting isn't the best meeting ever. I mean, you gave me that feisty attitude of yours,  you asked me out and I turned you down which made you upset at me even though, I was the most handsome man you've ever lay your eyes on but yet, you still had to choose to be feisty. You're the first woman who has ever made me feel this way for the first time in my entire life.

I never believe in love, It's not that I've ever had the experience of losing someone or something but it's because I never drown inside it. But you made me. Until I met you, Vivian, everything was so new to me.

The burn when I touch you, the excitement when I kiss you and miss you every time. I love you Vivian Censatio and it's getting deeper every day. I get jealous whenever you put on a tight dress but I didn't show it because I know you belong to me alone.

I think, saying I love you is not enough, I want more than that Vivian. Getting up with you every morning, eating food with you, having an ordinary date with you not trying to impress you because I'm rich, but want a simple outing with you, laughing about stupid things that I do, and just everything that involves you.

Shit! I love you so much Vivian, I just can't stop saying that! You're my life and I don't think, there would be a day that I will be able to function without you-

She was crying already when she finished reading the letter. Ken wipe off the tears on her face and she smiled innocently at him.  "Hey!" She called breathlessly and he gave her his sweetest smile before handing her the very fragrant flower that she loved.

She wanted to get mad at him for scaring her but, just seeing his face only, had made her forget everything.

"You were scared, right?." He asked her.

"How did you know that." She said and hissed.

"I know everything about you, my love." He replied smiling.   "Marry me, Vivian". He said out of the blue and that made her eyes widen in shock.

"Marry me, Vivian Censatio, let's be a family once and for all, let's build a big beautiful family together. Be my everything and forever love, let's have cute kids running around the house, the little  Ken and little Vivian." He smiled and close the gap between them, he pulled her chin to make her eyes look straight into his.

"Marry me beautiful... Because, you're mine and, I don't think I will be able to do this again without you".  He said.

What?! He... he's proposing right now? He just proposed to me? He wants me to be his wife? But how? I'm not ready for this- she thought, worriedly.

She looked at his eyes and saw nothing but sincerity in it. Though, there's a slight anxiety in them but deep inside his eye, there was a glistening of hope, and then, she's got no other choice but to say yes to him. But before that, she chose to tease him.  "Hmmm". She trailed off as she perpetually tap on her chin with her index finger.

"And, what if I say, no?" She teased but he remained relaxed instead.

"I will... I will... I won't let that happen. I know, I've hurt you so many times, but I hope, you can give me a chance?." He said.

"Ken, you know my answer already." She said circling her arm around his neck.

"Well, I don't". He said feigning innocent. He then circles his hands tightly around her waist and draw her closer to his body.

"Of course, yes Ken.  I will marry you".  She whispered to his right ear and his face lit up as he smiled widely at her.

He slowly untangled her arms around his neck and moved a step from her to bring out the small dark red box in his pocket. He opened it and revealed a very beautiful diamond ring while he insert it in her finger.

"From now on, you Vivian Censatio is my fiance, my future beautiful wife and we are going to have our wedding in a month". He announced with full authority laced on his tone while he slip the beautiful ring on her finger.

They both ordered their meal and eat in silence. Vivian on the other hand kept staring at Ken and couldn't take her eyes off him. "If you keep staring like that then, I might just get you married to me tomorrow". He said without raising his head...

Jerk! Just a moments ago, he was being romantic, and now, that I have accepted his proposal, he turned back to his usual jerk mood again- she thought and hissed.

She smiled as she saw his upper lip twitch up in a smile too. After then, she decided to concentrate more on her meal.

Once they were done with their meal, dessert was served again. At that moment, she felt Ken was going to spoil her throughout the night. She smiled down at her hand and she can't help but keep staring at the beautiful ring on her finger, it was just so beautiful.

"You like it?". He asked.

"What do you mean, Ken?  I love it! Thank you so much. I will always treasure this ring". She said squealing.

She knew he must have spent a lot on the ring... This is her choice.

"No love, don't say that. I should be the one thanking you, for the rest of my life.... I'll keep thanking you, you've made me the happiest man in the whole world by saying 'Yes' to me. You don't know how much that word alone means to me" He said as his voice laced with nothing but sincerity.

"Really?".  She asked teasingly, even though she knows he was serious about every word that comes out of his mouth. But, just to be naughty, she tried and tease him and to her surprise, he fell for it.

"Yes love". He nods in affirmative.

Just one thing she's confused about, why do they have to come all the way to her special visiting restaurant? He could have just proposed to her there at his place. What's so special about this place?- she thought.

"But Ken, why did you choose this restaurant? I mean, why do we have to come here? Your house is there, you can just propose to me there.  And how did you do all of this in such a short time? The preparation, the arrangement, and the people that were supposed to be here. No one is here Ken, I mean, though, you might have said something earlier I'm just confused, it's not like you've planned everything already... right?"

"Actually love, everything has been planned already, I mean, for the past few days I've been planning everything..., it's just that, I was scared of rejection and that's why I haven't proposed to you yet in the past few days.  I'm afraid that you won't accept me, I was so scared and I usually have this second doubt when I think about it, I always feel like; what if you reject me, I mean, my proposal?"

"To be honest with you babe, I don't have the courage all this while, but you see..... what happened back there at the hospital, gave me the courage. Because I realized one thing, that I can't do without you, I can live without you and I can't live without you Vivian. No matter what argument we might have, you'll still be the perfect one for me, I love you... I truly love you so much, and I'm willing to do anything for you just to make you happy"

"And I love you too, Ken".

"Come on, let's hurry and go back home. We still have a lot to do." He announced to her.
