Until the next day she returned to her busy daily routine; work and work until she hope she will be rich. Another problem in her life apart from the bastard Ray was the influx of clients over the past two weeks.

Every day she would work overtime from one place to another, barely taking a break and forgetting everything.

Miraculously, she, who was used to saving on salaries and not accepting new employees, suddenly recruited twenty people at once. She divided several people at a time so that the workload can be handled. Luckily all the work was completed without any problems.

Fortunately, the money in her account continued to flow like a river.

The world even knows how happy she was. She didn't think about where the clients came from, only guessing that the goddess of fortune might be on her side because she was a kind person. She also didn't think anything of it until when she arrived home, several people were waiting for her there.

Scary people in black suits.

"Who are you guys?" she asked, somewhat horrified.

She didn't accidentally owe these people money, right?

But in reality, these people were very friendly when one of them said, "We're here to pick you up, Mrs. Greisy."

"Ha?" Her brow furrowed.

At that moment her phone rang and a message came in,

[Alexa, if you had arrived home, you would have met some of my people. They will take you to see me. (ps. don't be afraid)]

She almost slammed her phone when she saw that the sender was Ray.

"Don't be afraid, my ass!" She grimaced sadly. "He wants to kidnap me or what?!"

"Miss, please come up." A man opened the door of the Mercedes-Benz for her.

The car was red, very beautiful and amazing. The light shining on the surface caused a beautiful glow. It really sparkled like a pile of jewels.

Alexa couldn't possibly hide the fact about how expensive this car was.

"I have to pick up my son first," she said resignedly.

"Little Master is already inside."

Alexa, "???"

"Mom!" Fillo peeked out of the car and had put on his seat belt, looking excited. "We're going to see Daddy!"

What have these people poisoned her son's ears?

So she immediately jumped in. After working all day and being tired, being in a luxury car made her relax a little. The air conditioner turned on steadily, the air flew out with a subtle sound. Made it feel like she were on a big, comfortable bed.

She didn't want to think about what Ray was actually planning and let the luxury car drive out.

The journey was not far, they entered a villa area at the top of a mountain which was very close to where she lived.

Entering this area, she felt very foreign and unusual. She actually often passed through the big gate of this place when going to work. From the gate to the villa the distance covered is not close, so it is impossible to walk. Being here now, she really felt like she was in another world.

"Wait a minute! You guys were really sent by Ray?" She asked suspiciously.

The two men in the front seat just looked at each other. Didn't answer. She wanted to ask again, but soon the car stopped.

"We have arrived."

Alexa and her son were then led into the large villa. The place was very beautiful and cool. In the front yard there was a flower yard of various colors. There was a small garden shaded by a hedge, near which a large fish pond extended from the sides of the garden. The grounds were almost covered in pleasant green grass, perfect for taking a break from the hustle and bustle.

Seeing this beautiful sight, her suspicion slowly eroded.

Their destination turned out to be the greenhouse in the backyard. It was cooler there than the garden in front. In the middle of the garden there was a golden round table, on one of the chairs she saw someone familiar.

"Peanut, did you miss me?"

"Daddy!!!" Fillo let go of her hand and rushed towards the person.

Hearing this, she was stunned to see the man who had suddenly disappeared from the earth for two weeks as if he were made of dust, now in front of her. Standing proudly as usual under the shadow of the leaves.

His figure was so charming that he didn't seem like a real person. He looked different from last time, thinner and paler.

Damn it!

He really had a serious heartbreak?

"Ray, what does this mean?"

Ray smiled faintly, sending everyone there away with a gesture. He left only the three of them and one young man who seemed to be around his age.

"Sit down first," he said.

She hesitantly sat down.

"Peanut, this is Uncle Doctor." Ray said.

Right after those words fell, she scooped Fillo into her arms protectively. "What? Hold on. What do you mean by this?"

The doctor in the white coat wanted to say something, but was prevented by Ray. "Sorry, for not telling you beforehand, Alexa. But this is my personal doctor, his name is Fran Ballmer, he will check your son."

"Check? What do you mean?"

"Well, just a health check-up."

"If I mind?"

Ray frowned. "Alexa, this is really just a health check. I'm not putting him in any danger."

Alexa's eyes glanced between 'the doctor' and Ray, with a lot of bad thoughts. She suspected that he might take samples from her son body without knowing. It could be that what she has been afraid of is true.

She, "Ray, I have something to tell you beforehand."

Ray, "That can wait."

"No."

Ray looked at her confused.

She broke their eye contact and put Fillo down. She walked towards Ray and looked at him solemnly.

They both stared at each other for a long time. She was only as tall as his chin so she had to look up. She sighed, seeing that the sharp bristles of his beard were still there, just like they had been five years ago.

She bir her lip.

"Ray, you must be curious about something, right?"
