Two months after
The following months passed since I began working at Drew's industries, Mr. Smith immediately hated me the day I walked into his son's office without knocking, whereas aunt kept me on my toes, not a day passes she doesn't warn me against ever having any to romantic feelings for our enemies son, but what she didn't know was that for the previous two months, Daren and I got acquainted with each other, he gave me an Inside knowledge about his family and I saw how much he loved them so much.
"Good morning aunt".
Although it was a sunny day, thankfully it was weekends, another lazy Saturday for me. I placed a warm kiss on her cheeks and sat down next to her, as she serves me my morning breakfast.
"Thanks"
Without much words, we ate quietly but the calm serenity reversed the second when a feminine voice clamored out from behind.
"Mommy".
We both turned back together and saw Tori, my aunt's daughter back home after so many years of studying abroad, she warmly greeted her mom and veers to me wearing a smile on.
"Hello cousin," she says to me.
"Hello, Tori! Welcome home" I retorted back also wearing a smile.
Although the last year's, tori and I refused to see eye to eye, that'd why aunt sent her far to study, I just hope her coming home doesn't spark Ill sentiment between us over again.
Earlier stated I sated down next to aunt at the dining table, but the moment Tori returned, she nudged me to the next sit, a sit away from aunt, who didn't comprehend what was going on.
Afterward, I calmly looked at the sky through the window from my room, thus veered back to see Tori standing behind me.
"Why are you here cousin? Does aunt need anything?" I asked with a worried expression on my face, rather she picks it up from me with a mimicking voice, "why are you here cousin? Does aunt need anything! No, she doesn't Jackie" Tori says to me in a loud voice.
"Okay, so why are you here?".
Yet again I asked the same question I did a while ago, idling to hear her response.
"I came to speak to you?" She says seriously, which knitted a confused look on my Face, asserting back to her, "why! Is everything okay?" I asked as she walks closer to me.
"It will be, the moment, you disappear from my mom's life".
My feet withdrew a step backward, her words made me confused, I had no idea why she said such but in all honesty, Tori was a confused bitch.
"How I don't understand," I said shooting a flabbergasted glare at her.
"What don't you understand huh! You destroyed my family the moment aunt decided to take in! Did you forget my parents got a divorce all because of you!".
Apparently, it has been over a year now, and till now Tori still blames me for getting her parents divorced, I had no idea what was going on because I had only just lost my parents, and secondly, my new identity was like starting a new from me, still, my lovely cousin, (in a sarcastic voice) says I was the cause of her parent's separation, please can someone tell her to stop blaming me for a something I didn't do.
"Look!"
I tried reaching out to her but veered back the juncture I took heed of something falling from the living room .
In a dash I rushed out to the living room, just to stumble upon aunt laying cold to the floor.
