Aunt got me to understand that accepting Darren's request will not only boost me more closely to my goal but will give me an upper hand in getting my revenge on Smith drew, his father within a short slated period.
I quietly pondered on it, and after weighing my options, I found out that getting faked Married to Darren will gain me lots more than I expected.
"So do you understand now?" Aunt lifts my face to hers, I shook my head retreating to her, "yes ma'am, I do understand and am ready to get back what I have lost".
Heeding to my words, aunt giggles her way back to her room, I veered and left after pondering more on the issue, tomorrow morning, I'll be giving Darren a piece of good news, a weak smile smudge on my lips, as I closed the door to my room.
Tori listened to our conversation, the ignorant foolish girl, decides to pay Darren a visit in the office, the following day as well
Next day
Before everyone at home, could wake up, Tori got dressed and went on to pay Darren a visit at the company, don't ask because I have no idea how she knew the address of the company, but Tori has always been a sniffing, conniving, backstabbing bitch who not only want me out of her mom's life but wouldn't mind seeing me dead.
"Hello, Mr. Darren drew".
Tori walks into his office, wearing a huge smile on her face. Darren moves his eyes and noticed the skinny cloth she put on, repaying his eyes to her.
"Hello, Tori! What brings you here, early in the morning?". He watched as she pulls out a chair and seat down, cutely gazing into his eyes.
The intensity of her gaze, creeped him out, he answered back in irritation, "Tori! Can you kindly tell me, the reason why you are here?".
" I came to talk about my cousin?" A devilish smile draped over her face, Darren rests his back on his chair, "you mean Karol? Why? Did anything happen?". He inquired
No! Nothing did, but I wanted to tell you that my sister, isn't who she says, she is!".
She thought telling Darren will make him inquisitive about me, rather he gets up from his chair and gave her a shocking reply, " I know she isn't what she calms to be, but that shouldn't be of any interest to me, I love a woman who is hard to understand, unlike the rest, who goes around instigating people against their blood".
Forthwith, tori stands up from the chair she sat and furiously walked closer to him and said, "you can insult me if you want but I am telling you for your good, don't say I didn't warn you". (She walks out of his office, aggravated by his comment).
It was as if God wanted us to meet, as we bump into each other the second I got to the company, she pushed me away and entered into a cab, without giving me any explanation of why she visited my workplace.
I wore a curious look on, and the moment I stepped my feet into my office, Darren was already waiting for my arrival.
" good morning, Karol".
I turned back and saw him seated on my chair, pushing for a comeback, "good morning, Darren, but why are you here?" I implored noting the serious look on his face.
"Holy shit! What the hell happened?. I whispered to myself.
