Vy's POV

I did my best not to see Luke for three days and I succeeded. My life is so chaotic and I don't want more. Because of what happened between Cassandra and me, she doesn't approach me anymore but every time we meet she always throws hurtful words at me. I put up with that. It's okay with me. Don't hurt him.

"Any news kila tita?" Lily

I shook my head and sat down on the sofa, "Nothing yet. All I have to do is wait for them to come back,"

"It's going to be the end of the week they said today. If what they said is true. They'll be home tomorrow," Ly

We just got home from school and I was so tired from the day's activities, "Yes. If they do come home. We don't know," I said softly.

We both fell silent. I looked out the window when I heard a car horn. I was suddenly nervous. N-are they there yet papa? Or luke again?

I got up and went to the door. Suddenly my nervousness disappeared when I saw someone I didn’t expect to see today. He smiled broadly at me.

"Luhence? It's you," Ly

I swallowed, "I'm glad to see you two. Is everything okay?" Luhence

"A-what are you doing here? I thought you weren't coming back first?" I wonder question

"Well ...," he bowed "I missed you. I want to see you before I went busy again,"

My heart beat faster at what he said. He came here just to see me? I smiled at him.

"Come on. Let's go inside," I said

"Good riddance. By the way. I'll be ahead of you two. I still need to get dressed. See you vy," Ly winked at me.

I was just shaken and we went inside together. He sat down on the sofa.

"Where's your parents?" He asked

I sneezed and forced myself to look good in front of him, "They're not here. They're ... on vacation,"

He nodded. I went into the kitchen to bring him food and then went back to the kitchen. He was sitting there comfortably. I felt security when I saw him. I don't know where it came from but when he came earlier, I felt a little relieved. I set the tray down in front of him and sat down on the single chair.

"Thanks,"

"By the way. What are you doing in Ihmapuleya? Do you have a job here or are you studying?"

It's only now that I realize that I don't know much about him yet. Apart from his habit, he is no longer in his family background. He become hesistant.

"Ahm. It's okay if you don't answer. I don't have the right to ask you personally because we'll just get to know each other,"

He stopped eating and looked at me seriously, "You're my friend. You deserve to know it,"

Friend

Ouch. I forgot that we were just friends. I was even the first to tell him before but why am I hurting? I felt disappointed. I tried to smile and averted my eyes.

"I did something in Filifia so I stayed a few days there and don't turn out well so I decided to come here. To see you. How you're doing? And to relax my stress I recieved in coming back to my country , "he explained

"Ahh. That's why," I smiled

"You? What keeps you occupied these days? You looked stressed out too. There's dark circles under your eyes," he laughed softly.

Somehow, I laughed too. I also didn't get a good night's sleep for a few days because of the revelation that I found out to add to my fight with Cassandra at school. I'm unlucky this month.

"Yes. At school. There are as many projects and reports as you can add to the people who are helpless and harassing others," I laughed.

"Relate. It's life. There's people who'll gonna put you down. People you're gonna hate all your life but they are the people that will make you stronger everytime they try to pull you down," Luhence

"You're right. That's part of life,"

A few seconds of silence passed when he spoke again, "Are you free? I knew some magnificent place here that you'll surely like. Is it okay for you to take me for a walk lady blue?"

I have nothing to do here at home but wait all night, eat and sleep as I was used to when they left mama.

"Sure. I don't have anything to do here either,"

He stood up and held out his hand to me. He's face was radiant today, smiling at me showing his pearly white teeth.

"Let's go then,"

I always asked where we were going but he just smiled and answered me. I noticed the towering trees around and the mountains. I knew immediately that we were far from civilization. I trust luhence. He's the type of person who won't hurt you, all I'm worried about is that we might end up here. It's a bit dark because only streetlights give us light on the road apart from the car's headlights.

While we were quiet I couldn’t help but compare Luhence to luke again. I asked myself if luke came with me, would I agree? Definitely not. But I also got the answer to my curiousity. I trust luhence because of how he treats me unlike luke who forces me into things I don’t like and are clearly wrong. Which is not me. I know luhence won't let me down.

I turned to Luhence when he said, "I found a small lake here surrounded by trees and different kinds of flowers. For a girl who's been stressed out for these past few days, you should just see the place that way. Somehow make you feel better, "

I stared at him. There was again the irregular beating of my heart because of what he said. He obviously brought me here for me. He came for me. He is here for me.

But why?

What is the reason?

Is there enough reason for us to be friends? That is why? Do friends do that? If at all. Lily is also there for me if I need her but why when it comes to lay luhence. I assume that there is another reason why.

"Lady blue? Earth to my lady blue."

I blinked. T-did I hear right? He called me 'my'? My chest throbbed and I sneezed. Maybe that's just not there. I think I heard wrong. That's right.

"S-sorry. I was just thinking but thank you for bringing me here. It will definitely help me to think,"

He nodded, "I make the good decision on taking you here. It's worth the effort lady blue. I will always loved to make you happy and comfortable,"

I could no longer speak and averted my eyes. I'm speechless so I'd rather just keep quiet than speak. Maybe that's where we're talking about. I don't want to ruin the night with false suspicions.

A few minutes later we stopped at the side of the road. He came out first then opened the door on my part. He held out his hand to me which I accepted. He smiled and the two of us made our way to the lake he says.

My lips parted when I saw the lake he was talking about. He was right. It's so beautiful here. There are many beautiful types of flowers surrounding the blue waters of the lake. Thanks to the moon, the lake became even more beautiful when the rays hit the water.

"A-that's nice. How did you know there was such a place here? It looks like a paradise!" My statement

I knelt near the lake and scooped up water with my hand. The water is very clear. It seems like a nice bath in case I don't have a replacement. I was frustrated.

"Why don't you even tell me you're going to take me here. I hope I can bring a replacement. It looks good to swim," I said frowning.

I heard his weak laugh again, "I have spare clothes in my car. You can use that,"

That caught my attention. Why does he have a woman's dress in his car? Who is that? I would have liked to ask but I have no right. I secretly gasped.

"You can swim. I'm gonna go get some clothes so you can wear them after you swim. Don't worry. It's safe here. I'll be back," luhence

I nodded and forced a smile, "All right. I'll wait for you,"

He smiled before walking away. I sighed loudly then turned to the lake. I slowly took off my clothes and went down into the water. I sighed in contentment. The water is very refreshing and really relieves stress and problems. I closed my eyes for a few minutes and only luhence was in my brain.

I forgot about the problem at home as well as at school but luhence entered my brain. The things I feel every time he's there. Is it natural?

"You're not stupid Vy. You know that's not natural," I whispered

My heart was racing and nervous. He make you feel confused, frustrated and nervous. I know it’s not natural anymore. Maybe ... maybe because maybe I want him?

I closed my eyes emphatically. I really want luhence. I liked him unknowingly. Dangerous. P-what if I also fall for him without realizing it? What will happen to my heart?

Especially since he only considers me a friend.

"Can I join you?"

I forgot. I was quickly held to the side in shock. He laughed at my reaction.

"Sorry to scared you. Look like you really love the water,"

I sneezed. Now I have realized and it is clear to me that I like him. It's like it's hard for me to feel nothing for him. I hugged my arms to my body submerged under the water.

"Can I join?" He asked again

My throat feels dry. Will he accompany me? Here? But I was able to translate. My chest throbbed. I just nodded in response to him. He began to remove his upper garment. I secretly praised the very beautiful shape of her body. I was distracted by the sight of his pants that he was going to take off.

Many images entered my mind. That I never once thought of anyone. I took another deep breath.

"Are you okay?"

My eyes widened and I fell under the water in shock. I got up right away. He laughed so hard that I looked at him.

"Why are you startled !?"

He just laughed with laughter, "You're spacing out lady blue and you look so adorable. Tell me what you're thinking,"

My throat went dry when he brought his face close to mine. I stared into his blue eyes. They were addictive and I couldn’t help myself. I'm lost in his gaze.

We want luhence. Wish.

Before I was overwhelmed by a strange sensation. I averted my eyes. I felt his presence on the side and his stares at me.

"I'm thinking of someone," I whispered

"Who? Luke? That man who told nasty things about you?"

No. You.

I smiled sparingly and no longer bothered to correct his suspicion. His expression was serious and he averted his eyes.

"You like him? He must be very lucky then,"

I stared at him. I did nothing to change whatever he suspected because I wanted to see what his reaction would be. There was a long silence before he broke it.

"I wonder how's it feel being him,"

"A-what?" I blinked

He bravely stared me in the eye. My heart pounded fast when I saw his serious eyes.

"I wished you could like me too the way you like him," luhence

"L-luhence?" I can not talk

He averted his eyes as I couldn't believe what he told me.

"I like you lady blue,"
