Chapter 29: Chapter 29

Zian stopped the bike in front of his favourite place.

Emma got down the bike and looked at large iron gate with the name written in bold Italics.

‘Little Texas’

‘"What's this place??" Emma asked curiously, as she looked around the calm and quite place.

"It's a ranch." Zian said as he helped unbuckling Emma's helmet.

"Why are we here??" Neha asked.

"This is my favourite place here in London."

"Texas is somewhere abroad right??" Emma asked.

"Yes. America. This place is called Little Texas because the owner of this place is from Texas. He had migrated over here years ago and with his experience at working as a cowboy in some ranch in Texas, he started one here." Zian said and Emma grinned.

"Cowboy?? Like they show in movies and all. Wearing tattered jeans, long thick boots and hats??" Emma asked excitedly.

"The very same." Zian said, smiling at her open excitement.

"Oh my!! Do you have a cowboy dress Zi Zi? You will look totally hot as a cowboy." Emma said dreamily.

Zian looked at her intensely.

"Really???" He asked huskily.

Emma looked down, blushing.

Damn her mouth and its blabbering.

Was there any need to tell him that he is hot?

He probably knows that already. But then she was just being honest.

Isn't honesty the best policy?

He always looks smoking hot.

But if he comes over with a cowboy makeover.

Hayee! . Emma sighed dreamily.

"I would kill to know what is running through your head now, Emma." Zian said leaning towards her and she again blushed.

"I love the way you blush, Emma." Zian said, tucking an imaginary strand of hair behind her ears.

Where did the goodboy Zian go?? Why does his hands have a brain of its own whenever Emma is around.

Emma blushed harder on that and Zian grinned.

"You are turning into a tomato, Emma. There are lots of animals on the ranch. I don't want them to mistake you for a tomato and eat you," Zian said chuckling and Emma huffed.

"I don't like tomatoes. Tell me I am turning into a strawberry." Emma said and Zian gaped at her.

Where did the shy blushing Emma go in a snap??

"Tell me Zi-Zi. Tell me I am turning into a strawberry or an apple. Or maybe a cherry. Anything but tomato." Emma whined and Zian shook his head in disbelief.

"Okay my darling strawberry. Now let's go in and meet Mr and Mrs Lassiter." With that Zian took her hands in his, which seemed to become a habit for him and walked inside the ranch.

Liam found his Mirrie where he expected to find her.

In the library.

But he had expected her to be writing, instead she was simply sitting there staring into the space.

He bent down a little and whispered in her ears.

"Penny for your thoughts??" Zada jerked out of her dream world when she saw Liam.

Her heart started beating fast and she could feel her palms sweating.

Is he going to ask her about what happened in the cafe??

And if he did, what's she going to say??

"Hey. You okay??" He asked worried and Zada smiled nervously.

"Yeah," she said softly.

"So?? Any plans for the weekend??" He asked as he took the chair next to her.

"No plans yet. I might go home." Zada said with a casual shrug.

"Can I follow you home??" Liam asked, making her frown.

"For what??" Zada asked in confusion.

"Because my parents always told me to follow my dreams." Liam said, grinning cheekily and Zada groaned.

"Why God!! Why?" She asked looking heavenwards.

"Don't go," Liam said, this time in a serious tone.

"What???"

"I said don't go home this weekend," Liam said.

On the short walk from the cafe to the library he had made plans for the weekend.

He is going to take her on another date.

That is if she agrees!!

But hey, he is The Liam Fredrick. He is not bad at persuasion.

"Why??"

"Because we are going on a date," he said, winking at her and she raised an eyebrow at that.

"We are?? And how did you come to that conclusion, Fredrick??"

"Because I am too irresistible for you to say no." Liam said grinning cheekily earning an eye roll in return.

"And what if I say no???" Zada asked.

"I will keep bugging you till you say yes Mirrie." Liam said lazily.

"Well, in that case I would go with you just so that I could get some peace of mind." Zada said airily as if her heart isn't thumping it's way to her throat.

Another date with Liam Fredrick! Wouldn't that be wonderful?

Evening

Zahir called his momma to share the news of the day. He is an in and out momma’s boy, no matter what a badboy he is at the university.

"Mommaa. There's good news for you," Zahir said happily as soon as his mother picked up the call.

"Don't tell us that you are going to be a father." Zayed, who heard his son because his wife had put the call on speaker phone, said dryly.

"Momma?? Why is the phone on speaker?? You know I don't like that." Zahir said with a frown.

He simply didn't like being interrupted while he talked to his momma. Not even his dad.

"That's because she loves me more than you boy. So she would obviously pay more heed to what I wish. Not you." Zayed said smugly knowing very well the possessive nature of his son.

Zahir likes being the centre of attention in everyone's life. He needs to be the most important person in his dear one's life.

It was very cute and funny when he was a little boy.

But lately it's getting a little irritating and Zayed have no intention of letting his son keep on behaving this way.

He is going to the Sultan of Zidra one day soon and he needs more discipline than this.

Also what will happen when the boy gets married. Zayed worries that the girl would leave within a day suffocated by Zahir's possessive nature.

Ah!!! I know what you people are thinking in your mind right now.. 'look who's talking??' Isn't that what you guys were thinking??

Well!! No offence taken. Because he knows he is possessive. But he is far far better when compared to his elder son.

"That's a lie. Momma loves me the most. Don't you momma??" Zahir asked, not ready to give up.

Ava sighed. One would think she should be used to this by now.

Boy!! Could you guys be anymore wrong!

"Zahir, baby, what's the good news you wanted to share??" Ava asked stealthily, changing the subject.

She seriously has no intention of getting caught between her husband and son.

Sometimes she wonders who is the father and who is the child.

"Ah momma!! The good news," Zahir said, excited to share the news with his mother.

"Yeah. Tell me."

"Your golden boy is lost forever." Zahir said dramatically and Zayed and Ava looked at each other in confusion.

"What are you talking about??" Ava asked in confusion.

"Zian Ahmed al Zidra is in love."
