It quickly pops back open as Xander’s voice fills my head. “Well looks like its something that we all can do now. I expect a debriefing in my office soon Beta. We still have matters to discuss” he says as he cuts the link.

Lifting her face up to mine I gentle my voice as I tell her “You are going to be a great mother.”

My feet pause as she starts to laugh so hard that she makes my body shake. Her eyes fill with tears at her laughter as it rings through and echoes in the room. I look at her in total confusion as I smile at how amazing she looks. This is no time for her to be laughing.

“Oh god…no…..that’s not what….it was” she says through her laughter. When she finally stops laughing she fights to catch her breath as she bites her lips. She looks as if at any moment she is going to start laughing again. “The dress Maximus. It was made from water. It would only last for twenty four hours before it dissolved” She explains as I stand there dumbfounded. “Look the floor is wet right where my dress was” she says as she starts to laugh again.
I start laughing right along with her as I walk us to the bed so that I can sit on the edge of it. Now that I have an explanation I can even feel the water on my feet. When my laughter dies down I cant help but to tell her. “Martell is the one who said your water broke. The scary lizard pushed me into action before I had time to think” I tell her with a chuckle.

He quickly defends as we both laugh at him. I feel him come forward as we look into the eyes of our mate in awe.
