It was him, he was the one who defiled her and kept coming back, he was the one who made her so scared of her own shadow that she had nightmares when she tried to sleep at night. He was the one who made her hate femininity and why she tried so hard to be a boy.

Because boys do not draw as much attention as girls did.

Flynn hands wrapped around her neck as he pressed her neck to the bed. "Good girl, you will be my good girl right?" Flynn asked.

Alexa could taste her tears as she tried to fight both her panic attack and the monster that was on top of her.

"You are struggling too much... Shhh." Flynn chuckled, his voice barely above a good whisper since his mouth was close to her ears, he was on top of her but not in between her legs, he would move there soon enough but he needed to break her first. And nothing does that more than words. "Do not worry, I understand that you are really eager, I will focus on other parts of you very soon."

"Please, let me alone." Alexa begged and for her troubles, he back handed her.

"You might mistake me for that silly husband of yours but if you make that mistake again, it is going to cost you your life." Flynn threatened. "A pity since you really are such a powerful chess piece to just die. Imagine how your death would hurt Jared. His pain will be a balm that will ease my pain from my sister death. Do you know what it means to feel half empty all the time, like there is a missing part of you that you will never get back. That is what I feel every single time since Kythia took my twin. Now I cannot do the same to Jared but I certainly can take his wife." Flynn laughed. "I will take her in all ways and by the time I am done. I will take her life. All you did wrong was to fall in love with the wrong person, I was there. Why was it not me?"

"Because something already told me you were a monster and I do not like monsters." Alexa spat out at Flynn and when he raised hand to slap her, she used both her hands to drag his away from her neck and headbutted him. Flynn fell backwards and she quickly scrambled out from under him and rushed to the door but before she could grab it. Flynn wrapped a hand around her waist and fell her.

Alexa sobbed as she tried to fight Flynn hands but he was already tearing at her shirts and when her voice increased he started to hit her, over and over again on her face but even then, Alexa still gripped tightly to her shirt.

"You think that you will be saved, nobody will save you." Flynn laughed.

"I will kill you for this." Alexa yelled at his face and before Flynn could hit her again, the door of her room were pushed open and before Flynn should stand up from Alexa, the person who came in rushed at Flynn and used a sword in the scabbard to but Flynn on the head.

Flynn collapsed as the person turned to Alexa and she dimly saw that it was Jasmine.

"Jasmine." Alexa croaked out, her throat and mouth hurt and she was certain that come morning she would have multiple bruising.

"It is a good thing that you forgot your sword although I should have ran him through with it." Jasmine stated as she tried to help her brother wife stand.

When Alexa could stand, she realized how she looked with her face beaten and her clothes torn and she started crying. Alexa was still crying when the alarm went up and guards poured into her room. She was still crying when Jasmine placed a robe on her and she definitely was crying so hard that when her father came and tried to talk to her, all she still did was cry. She cried so much that her body became red and she had to be given a sleeping draught to take and only then did she go to sleep and this time it was beside Jared on his bed.

"My daughter." The king said as he punched Flynn. "What is wrong with your brain, of everybody, you went after my daughter." The king yelled.

Flynn spat out the blood in his mouth and shrugged. "She had always been an easy target, why not?" Flynn responded.

The king thought about Flynn words before he paled in face, realizing what Flynn had just implied. This time the guards that were just watching had to hold the king back before he could kill Flynn.

"Throw him in the worst jail we have, we need to let him be there for a while so that he would think in his punishment, he will die and I do not know what means yet, maybe he should think on that." The king stated. The king stood and watched as they dragged Flynn to jail wondering what had happened to Alexa while she was under him. Wondering what horrors Flynn must have inflicted on his daughter.

The king kept watch over his daughter and his wife for the next one week before he could calm down. The queen was getting better and almost all of Alexa physical wounds had healed, Jared was set to wake up any day then and after that, they would have to decided Flynn death.

Arianna had waited for Flynn for three days before the rumors floated to her. Flynn tried to rape the princess and he was caught. The people of Asteria was desperately waiting to see the verdict of the king. Everybody wanted Flynn to die for his actions and that was when Arianna took a horse and rode to Flynn's castle, she told the king the little parts she knew and so they have started preparations to get Flynn back. The first on their list was to send a message back to the king of Asteria promising blood and war if Flynn was hurt.

And after that Arianna left and went back to Asteria, hoping to heard information to help Corthin and the honest truth of this was because she was spiteful that even with a taste of her, Jared still preferred Alexa. That was something which that was beyond Arianna she had always been first and she was jealous that she bear the in needed second in Jared life.

When the king of Asteria got a letter from Corthin, he was not surprised that Flynn father already knew what was happening and as usual when he read the letter for formality sake he noticed that Flynn father is not say anything about his son actions only that he should not be touched and guards will come to take him home where he would be punished for his wrong doings.

He tore the letter into pieces as he moved to where Alexa was to tell her the new development when he saw Jared was up with his wife who cuddled close to him.

The king smiled and as he was about to turn back, giving the couple space when Jasmine came in. "Are you done seeing them?" Jasmine asked.

"No, I did not see them, not that they were not in the room but because they were busy." The king replied awkwardly.

"And they will remain busy for a very long time if you do not want to say what you have to say." Jasmine answered as she pushed the door I and stepped over the threshold. "Break it up children, the king is here to talk with you two." Jasmine interrupted and smiled when she saw that her disturbance was right on time because her brother was about to kiss Alexa.

Alexa cheeks went red but Jared sighed. "Jasmine sister, the courtship for you will be days your will rue because of me."

"This time it was for a good cause. I did nothing at all." Jasmine pouted. "The king really wanted to say something and was going to turn back because of you two closeness."

Jared faced the king and gave a chin jerk which the king smiled at. "I am so glad that you are way better than how you were after the outing big still it is something to thank God for."

"All thanks to your daughter. " Jared responded.

"I guess that it is one of those moments when I am invisible." Jasmine grumbled but Jared as usual paid no attention to his sister.

"And speaking of daughter, Alexa there is something that you need to know." The king stated but Alexa frowned.

"Jared is not a visitor. I am sure that you can say anything you want in front of him." Alexa returned.

The king would have insisted if he felt like it would have done anything but he knew his daughters the more he insisted, the more Alexa would drag her feet into he mud refusing to move.

"Flynn father has asked us to remove Flynn from jail and send him home stating that he would be punished in Corthin." The king announced.

"Oh hell no." Jasmine growled while Alexa froze at the mention of Flynn name.

Jared saw the reaction of his wife and his sister before he asked in confusion, apparently he was out of the loop in a lot of things and one of those things were what happened to Flynn. "What happened to Flynn, why is he in jail, what did he do?"

Jared grew irritated as the king exchanged looks with his sister and his wife.

"It would be preferable if nobody told him yet. He would fly off the handle and he is not yet completed recuperated." Jasmine stated.

"If you say nothing, I would stand up and walk around until I see someone who will tell me what happened. How would that be for my recuperating self?" Jared threatened.

"Flynn tried to rape me." Alexa stated softly as Jared turned to look at her with shock in his gaze. "And apparently, he was the person who did before."

That was the nearest thing to which the king had heard from Alexa regarding the past.

Jared fumed as he stood up. "I am going to kill him. Flynn dies today."

And with those words Jared stormed off while Alexa ran after Jared, trying to plead to with him to calm down. The king looked at Jasmine who shrugged.

"Now you have no criminal in your home so the king message is nothing. All you can do like Kythia did and send the body back to Corthin.

"That would be an inevitable war." The king stated.

"And it is still a war either way. Have fun, relax and let's go and watch an execution, my brother is very inventive with them." Jasmine smiled at the king before she left the room.

Later that day, the king wrote a letter but it was not to the king of Corthin rather to the king of Kythia and asked for help because the public and gruesome way in which Jared killed Flynn would spread the news of Flynn death to his father in no time and he needed alliance now more than ever because the inevitable war was in front of them.

Jared was still fuming even after he had killed Flynn, yes he had suspected that Flynn was responsible for hurting Alexa but there was a difference between suspicion and knowing for a fact that it was right. He still was feeling angry even after the death of Flynn but the thing that calmed him down was Alexa who clinged to him like he was her lifeline and after he had washed off Flynn's blood from his body, she remained by his side never letting him go. He knew that he had slayed the monster in Alexa's mind and that was all right though.he would slay any monster that distrubed his wife peace of mind.
