“Good morning.” Jhonia said after she had entered the secretarial office. However, her head was glued to her phone with a smile.

“Jhonia Mr. Knight came in stunk from alcohol. Even so he was not happy! We said good morning and he glared back at us with an angry face.” Daeviann said to her surprising her. That's unlike him to come to work drunk! She explained he wasn't happy but was angry at them.

“Enraged I see.” Jhonia said.

“Huh? What do you see?” Daeviann asked but Jhonia just smiled as she put her phone away.

“Lusinly, did you finish the draft I sent you yesterday?” Jhonia asked as she walked to her desk!

“Yes, but”

“But?” Jhonia cut in and asked before she could finish.

“Yes, but. Mr. Knight requested the paperwork this morning.” Lusinly responded to her now like she wished to inform her from the beginning.

“Okay. Back to work.” Jhonia said and sent them back to work! Time passes and Jhonia notices that Kyhe is yet to call her, to vent his anger.

“I wonder why he's not making it a problem though, knowing him he would, why?” Jhonia questions herself while staring up at his office.

“Is he really that upset?” She asked herself before she stood and made her way to his office... As she entered she realized he's not there.

“Where did he go?” She asked, looking around.

“Could there be another round besides the secret closet?” She asked herself making her way there but after looking she found nothing and decided to leave. On her way out Kyhe was entering.

"I'm sorry, I will-" She cuts him off when she grabs his tie, pulling him into a kiss. Both surprised with her actions, on the other hand Kyhe was pleased with his surprise. Jhonia seems to have forgotten they're in the office.

"Ahem. Mom, Jhonia is here!" He cleared his throat and said. Jhonia stared in shock!

“Your mom was behind you?” She asked him, making an angry face which changed to a surprising one.

"As if mom would care what you do to me. Ask her or should I?" He said to her and asked her, Jhonia quickly pushed him aside and greeted Mrs. Knight.

“Mrs. Knight, how are you?” She asked with a smile.

“Oh goodness, you look worried. Did something happen?” Mrs. Knight asked and Jhonia smiled as she put her hair behind her right ear.

“Not really. I just got worried after not seeing him in the office and when he didn't call to inform me, I thought he had changed his mind about me marrying him. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that! I should get back to work.” She said, and Kyhe felt at ease but then she kills him immediately after, he stood in shock with his eyes widen. Mrs. Knight was shocked and angry at the same time for Jhonia.

"No, not true mom. Jhonia, how could you?" Kyhe claimed and asked as he stood for his run from his mother.

“Kyhe Knight!” His mother called him.

“It's my fault, Mrs. Knight, don't blame him. I should be going back now.” Jhonia said trying to seem weak and it works. She looked fragile in Mrs. Knight's eyes and that's what she wanted.

"Jhonia I'm going to get you for this. Mom wait a minute. Jhonia!!!" Everyone could hear Mr. Knight yelling. While Jhonia happily went back to her desk to continue her work.

Time skipped and Kyhe was the talk of the office. Emmari didn't like that Jhonia and the man she loved for years were the talk, she hated Jhonia for it.

“I'm going to make you regret it.” Emmari said while staring at Jhonia who was enjoying her lunch peacefully.

The rest of the day slowly went by and soon Jhonia reached home and decided to continue to fake it with Nearce.

“By playing the fool to him, I will be able to know what he's up to and fool him, who is fooling me. For the greater good of me.” Jhonia quoted with a smirk before dialing Nearce's number and before she could breathe on the second ring he answered the call!

"Hey, how was your day?" He said and asked her, Jhonia smirk at the smart he's playing and caring to be.

“It was okay. Mr Knight was out almost all day, so I didn't do much. What about you.?” She said, then explained to him putting Kyhe in the picture to see what he would do.

"Good, don't be working too hard. My day was the same as usual. How are you though?" He said to her and asked. She decided to make use of it for the time being.

“Everything has an expiration date. Ahh, I'm just tired.” She said to him and once more he ignored something important.

"Do you need anything? I will buy it and send it to you." He asked and said to her which made Jhonia realize he is listening just not how she wanted him to.

“It's okay. You must not have time to rest today, I don't want to keep you.” She said to him explaining she wants him to have rest because he may need it.

"That's fine, Jhonia. I will make time for you when you call. I just don't know if you will be able to speak when I call you...?" He said her and Jhonia thought whatever he wanted was most likely to be very important. When he said that to her in asking she was sure this was something concerning business.

“Of course I will, will you call when you get the chance?” Jhonia smirks and said, she smiled and asked him to make sure he knew she was smiling.

"Every chance I get. Do you have time this weekend?" He said smiling then asked her.

“Of course, but the weekend starts tomorrow.” She said with excitement then explained to him.

"Ah, this Saturday and Sunday." He breathed in relief and said to her,

“Okay. I will come by in the morning. Did the maids go to the house mom bought me? I was upset. I think they must think I hate them.” Jhonia said to him and then she changed the subject asking him then said.

"Yes, they did but I don't think they would think that but since you will be here... I want maids you're comfortable with to serve you. May I ask them to return?" He answered and said, he took a few seconds to say to her and then asked her as if he needed her approval. This surprise Jhonia much more than before.

“Yes, you can. You can ask them to come back tomorrow in the afternoon.” Jhonia said to him then tell him what to do.

"Okay. I don't want to keep you up too late, so get some rest. I will call you in the morning. Sweet dreams." He said to her and exclaimed he doesn't wish to have her up too late. She should be resting and having sweet dreams.

“Good night, and same to you.” She said to him,

"Good night." Nearce added before he stayed on the line waiting for her to end the call and so she did.

“What has gotten into him?” Jhonia asked as she put the phone aside and decided to go to bed.
