Chapter 139: Chapter 139
Early in the morning, Serena Keaton was quite excited. She woke up just as the sky began to brighten, and for once, Elias Lancaster was still asleep.
She gazed at Elias Lancaster’s sleeping face in amazement, "That face, really one of a kind. Lucky for me, I picked him up."
She raised her hand to touch Elias Lancaster’s cheek.
Elias Lancaster opened his eyes.
A pair of deep, dark eyes looked at Serena Keaton, "Madam, are you satisfied with your husband’s looks and skills?"
Serena Keaton laughed, "The looks, definitely satisfied. The skills..."
Elias Lancaster raised an eyebrow, his face practically saying, "If you dare say you’re not satisfied, I’ll make sure to satisfy you until you are."
Serena Keaton blushed, "A bit shorter time, even more satisfied."
Elias Lancaster smirked wickedly, "But didn’t you also enjoy it?"
"I’m not talking to you anymore, I need to get up," Serena Keaton tried to run away.
But Elias Lancaster pulled her into his arms, "Where are you running off to?"
Serena Keaton quickly pleaded, "No, today I can’t be late at the studio, I need to give out red envelopes."
"Alright, it’s still early. If you can’t sleep, how about we exercise?" Elias Lancaster checked the time, just right for morning exercise.
"Sure!" Ever since getting pregnant and having kids, Serena Keaton hadn’t woken up early for a workout until now.
"Princess, please get up!"
The two playfully got out of bed, washed up, changed into workout clothes, and went outside.
Serena Keaton took a deep breath, "The air is so nice, Elias, should we go for a run?"
"Then run slower, I might not be able to run metformin."
The two began running along the villa’s path.
Serena Keaton bent over, hands on her knees, panting, "I can’t, I can’t run anymore."
Elias Lancaster stopped and sat her down on a nearby rock, massaging her calves, "From now on, get up early every day, and run with me."
"We’ll see about that. What time is it now?"
"Seven," Elias Lancaster glanced at his wristwatch and said.
"Let’s go back, have to get to work early."
Hand in hand, they went inside, washed up in their room, then went to the nursery to check on the two little ones and saw them sleeping sweetly.
Only then did they head downstairs together.
"Young Master, Young Madam, breakfast is ready, come and eat!" Nanny Livingston greeted with a smile.
"Good morning, Nanny Livingston."
Serena Keaton greeted and walked to the dining table, seeing the spread, "All my favorites, thanks, Nanny Livingston."
"No need to thank me. You’re working today, make sure to eat well and have the energy to work," Nanny Livingston said with a smile.
Elias Lancaster dropped Serena Keaton off at the studio, watching her go inside before driving to the company.
Serena Keaton opened the studio door. Before anyone arrived, she went to her office.
Colleagues arrived one after another. It seemed over the year, everyone had changed a bit.
After greeting each other, they returned to their seats, waiting for the new year’s work arrangements.
Seeing everyone was present, Serena Keaton picked up the red envelopes and went outside.
"Everyone looks refreshed. Seems like the year was well spent!"
"Of course, thanks to President Keaton. Such great benefits, I thoroughly enjoyed my year."
"Indeed, you have no idea. When I went home, those aunts and cousins of mine, who usually looked down on me, were suddenly all over me when they saw my benefits. They said their kids wanted to work here with me."
Everyone happily chatted away, the atmosphere was cheerful.
Serena Keaton laughed out loud.
"Should I skip giving the start-work red envelopes then?"
"No way! President Keaton, you have to give them. With a start-work red envelope, I guarantee you’ll prosper this year."
"Alright, here come the red envelopes!" Serena Keaton said.
"Thank you, President Keaton," everyone cheered loudly.
Once the red envelopes were handed out.

Arranging the new year’s work.
Time ticked by, with Serena Keaton going between school, the studio, and home every day.
A simple triangle, day in, day out.
As the weather grew warmer, Serena Keaton returned to Norris Gardens.
Just as she set down her bag, an excited Nanny Livingston pulled her over.
Looking at Nanny Livingston’s mysterious expression, she couldn’t help but be curious about what was going on.
"Young Madam, quickly look!" Nanny Livingston said excitedly.
Serena Keaton looked in the direction of her pointing finger.
She saw Yara and Yuri standing up, wobbling as they walked.
Serena Keaton paused in surprise.
She then suppressed the excitement in her heart, watching the two adorable little ones.
Immediately, she took out her phone, recorded a video, and sent it to the person saved as Elias on WeChat.
Elias Lancaster was on his way back when he heard his phone. He took it out, and upon opening it he saw the video his beloved sent.
He opened it, a smile tugging at his lips.
Great, one step closer to traveling the world with his beloved.
After dinner, Elias Lancaster and Serena Keaton took Yara and Yuri for a walk. Afterwards, they returned the little ones to the nursery.
Leading Serena straight to the bedroom.
Serena Keaton knew exactly what he wanted to do.
As soon as they entered the room.
"Elias, I’ll take a shower first."
"Darling, let’s go together!"
"No, or I’ll go sleep with the babies."
Serena Keaton refused without thinking, what a joke.
Going together, how could it only end with a shower?
She knew this man too well.
Elias Lancaster had no choice but to nod in agreement.
When Serena Keaton finished and was getting dressed, her lower right abdomen suddenly felt uncomfortable. She pressed it with her hand, and soon the discomfort seemed to disappear.
She walked out of the bathroom.
"Elias, you go take a shower."
"Darling, wait for me."
Serena Keaton’s face turned red in an instant.
Watching Elias Lancaster enter the bathroom, she took a towel to dry her hair, then blow-dried it.
But she didn’t know why she began to feel very uncomfortable, her abdomen becoming increasingly painful.
After her hair was dry, she lay on the bed, wondering if the recent preparations for her thesis and competition had worn her out.
Gradually, she felt somewhat better than before.
Elias Lancaster dried his hair, got on the bed, pulled her into his arms, and kissed her lips.
Serena Keaton let out a cry of pain.
Elias Lancaster immediately noticed something was wrong with her, touching her forehead, finding it covered in sweat.
He quickly turned on the bedside lamp.
Seeing her clutching her stomach, her face showing unbearable pain, he was taken aback.
"Darling, what’s wrong? Is your stomach hurting?"
Serena Keaton clenched her teeth and nodded.
Elias Lancaster quickly got up, put on pajamas, called Theodore Lynch, then carried her downstairs.
Once in the car, Elias Lancaster cradled her, urging the driver to go faster.
"Serena, it’s okay, we’ll be at the hospital soon."
Elias Lancaster reassured her.
"I know. I know, we’ll be there soon." Elias Lancaster’s voice trembled, "Drive faster!"
Immediately, the gas pedal hit the floor, a half-hour drive was cut down to ten minutes.
At the hospital entrance, Theodore Lynch waited in pajamas with doctors and nurses. As soon as they arrived, she was quickly sent to the emergency room.
