Mark went out today to visit another pack but he promised to get back home before dinner.

Tomorrow will be the day of the fight and here I am baking my favorite Caramel Vanilla Cake. I'm not a fan of chocolate cake, by the way.

“What is that? I smell something delicious.” Allie said as she entered the kitchen.

"It's a caramel-vanilla cake. Sit here and eat some. I'm almost done with it."

"I don't get how you can manage to bake when you're about to fight tomorrow." She said while getting a slice for herself.

"I don't want to put so much pressure on my head right now. I know my mate is already worried about it. I don't want to add to his burden." I know Mark is already stressed about it. I don't want to add to his problem anymore. I feel somehow confident because of the training I received from Luna Angel.

"I'm praying to the moon goddess for your safety."

"Thanks, Allie. Don't stress yourself too much regarding this, you need to focus on your health for your baby. You're due is near. We can't afford to get you sick before your delivery day."

"By the way, Wen, I got a package from Angel. I hope you can help me open it."

Allie sent a letter of apology to Angel and now Angel's sending her gift is a good sign.

"No problem, Allie. I'll be there in a minute. I will just put this one in the oven, then we can look at it later." I'm excited to see what's inside her package too.

I want to relax as much as possible today. Mark will come back later after securing an alliance with the Ravenmaw Pack in the West. They are rich in agricultural stocks and their alpha is a nice young man.

"Mark and Kayden are busy right now. I wonder what's going on during their visit to the Ravensmaw Pack." Allie said as she finished her second slice of cake.

"It will be fine, Allie. Mark and Alpha Eros have been on good terms ever since. The only reason they didn't form an alliance before is because of the pack between them. Mark is still in a rampage mode before, which is why he can't secure an alliance with the nearing border pack. Now that he is okay and settled with them, he is extending the pack alliances to the next pack closer to us." I explained. Mark told me about this before he left. He wanted me to be knowledgeable about every single detail involved in the pack.

"I heard that Alpha Eros is still single. I wonder what kind of mate he will receive from the Goddess. I also heard that he is handsome and their culture is different. I wonder when we will have a chance to visit there too."

"Let's wait for Mark and Kayden to return, then let's ask for a visit there. I'm done here. It will talk 45 minutes before it is cooked. Let's go to your room and open your gift."

We went to Allie's room and I saw a big box inside. This might be the gift Angel sent to her.

"It's huge, I wonder what's inside," Allie said.

I started unpacking the box and it showed a lot of baby stuff. We both look at each other when we see that its color is pink.

"Is your child a girl?" I asked.

"I haven't gone to the doctor to find out. Does Angel also know the gender of my baby even if I didn't tell her?"

Angel gifted her a complete set of baby stuff. From her clothes to her crib. She must be excited to see Kayden's child too. Werewolves only get pregnant for 6 months. Our baby grew faster than the human cycle inside our tummy.

"She's a powerful wolf and we both know that. She can see through us. Your baby might be a girl because she will not send this stuff if it is not."

I'm really impressed with Angel's power. It is as if he can see the future. If there's a kingdom in this world, she would be the rightful Queen of us all.

"Her power is beyond us all. I wonder how she can contain it inside. I feel like it is a burden sometimes."

"Why did you think that?"

"It's because, until now, her life is in danger. She's looking for an old witch that was said to be powerful and can manipulate us. There's also a rumor that she is the key to awakening a monster. Many target their pack and capture her to use her power."

"I don't know much about that. Where did you get that information?"

"From Kayden. He explained it to me before. That is why they are very protective of her. She also doesn't want to have children at the moment because of that."

"She's been mated to Alpha Gabriel for, I think, 3 years already. They should have an heir by this time now."

"She must be stressed because of everything, yet she still has time to help me and train me."

"I really regret hating her. Now I understand why Alpha Mark and Kayden acted that way. Angel is a very helpful and selfless person."

"We should send a gift for her too."

"She will be here tomorrow. I will give her the cake I'm baking."

"Isn't it 45 minutes already?" Allie asked.

I looked at the clock and I almost jumped to see that it was already 45 minutes. I ran back to the kitchen but when I got there, I found all my cake on the floor.

"What the hell happened here?" Allie said when she arrived.

"I-I don't know."

"Someone ruined your cake. When the hell could I have done this bad thing?"

There's a scent that lingers in the kitchen. Ysabelle!

"You already know who it is right?" Allie asked.

"She's getting out of hand. This is my cake and I hate how she ruined my dessert just because she wanted to get revenge on me. I will make her pay tomorrow."

My blood is boiling. I needed to do it again before Mark arrived.

"I will help you clean this and bake again. Let's get started before they come back." Allie said while sensing my change of mood.
