Chapter 39: Chapter 39
"Take me, to the sunny side!" Lola swayed her head to the tunes of ROUSEY- SUNNY SIDE as she danced to the blaring music in her room. Ridiculously large and donning a shade of white. The end of the room was replaced by a seamless glass wall so she could enjoy the view of York City.
As she glanced across the city, where the sun shone brightly on it's people. Her mind travelled to yesterday. Where she had toured several places with The Trainer and Ariel. And for the first time in years, she felt alive again.
The soft knock on her door tousled her sweet thoughts. She briskly wore a Black hooded sweatshirt inscribed with the Shining logo on a matching jogger.
"Come in." She said and the door quietly opened revealing an handsomely dressed Trevor. A smile inadvertently played on her lips as she reviewed his perfectly tailored blue checkered suit and a white shirt and sneaker to complement it all. He seemed to have done extra styling to his hair but she really didn't pay much attention to it.
"Hi." His gentle tune sounded so melodious and her heart raced. Her legs took control and in oblivion, they were already inches apart.
"Hey." She mumbled as their eyes bonded.
"I brought flowers." He mentioned as he revealed a bouquet behind his back donning beautiful shades of yellow and red. ----- .
"They're beautiful." She whispered as she held onto the bouquet carefully. "You look different." She noted as she let her other hand truck at the collar of his jacket.
"How so?" He teased while his arm curved around her waist, jolting them together so their warm breaths bonded.
"Handsome." She softly toned with a slight chuckle. And he arched his left eyebrow.
"I've always been than way." He whispered too while his breaths swarmed across her cheeks. She was certain her cheeks would already be a blushing red by now but she cared less.
"Sexy." She teased like a seductress and his grasp on her tightened as he inched his head closer. Dancing his lips in an irresistible fashion.
"I've always got that qualities too." he replied but her body couldn't resist his charms anymore. And like he understood her needs, his lips gently bonded with her. Both of them reveling in their sweetness and succulence, their lips carried. It felt like forever to her but in reality, it only lasted some few seconds.
"Good morning." He chorused still with his retained smile.
She tucked at his shirt again before strolling away from him and to her bedside, where an empty light green floral case was.
"I've been thinking," he continued. "We spent the entire day with Ariel yesterday but we never got to share quality time together." He pursed his lips while she reduced the music's volume.
"So why don't we have a quick outing today." He proposed while she lazily approached him.
"We have work today. The Revolution, remember?" She muttered while she ran her hand through her braided hair.
"But this is just 6:30, we still have about two hours thirty minutes left before work begins."
Lola eyes bonded with his again. She couldn't help but agree he was right. They needed some more time together and above all, she couldn't resist a crazily handsome Trevor dressed in suits.
"Where are we going?" She mused while his countenance lit with excitement.
"Somewhere that will blow your mind." He teased as he playfully touched on her nose. The joy coursing through her veins was enough to cause sparks from her palms. And indeed it happened!
"Sorry." She laughed causing him to do same too. "I'll go change now."

As Collins stepped out of his bathroom with his hand towel dangling by his neck, his eyes darted to the digital glassy board which brightly displayed three images with red arrows pointing at each other in a triangle fashion. Doctor Roberts at the top, Timeron and The anonymous orange man at the base.
Yesterday, he had spent the whole time alone trying to decipher their connection but it only left him with more questions. How Doctor Roberts knew so much about The Revolution, is Timeron truly the leader of the group and why Doctor Roberts chose to retain silence about that weird lab.
"What are you hiding? old man." He muttered to himself as he neared the monitor. But then the impatient knock on his door tousled his thoughts. He quickly switched the board off before bellowing the words,
"Come in!"
"Hey man!" Michael chirped excitedly as they shook hands.
"So what's up?" He stated as he slipped on a black singlet with The Shining's logo inscribed on it.
"Okay listen," Michael's eyes exclaimed. "There's this old casino club strictly reserved for elites here in this city so what do you say?" He raised his eyebrows repeatedly in a mischievous manner.
"How about we go play some gambling!"
Collins sighed as he relaxed to the edge of his king-size bed.
"We have work by nine."
"When did you become so hardworking?" His friend frowned as he joined him. "Come on don't be a kill joy!"
Collins slowly nodded, his mind was quickly beginning to entertain the idea of robbing some old men off their money.
"But most of them don't play by this time." He suggested. Michael grinned devilishly.
"I've got that covered." He chorused. Collins furrowed his gaze at him. "There's this party going on. And trust me when I say party, I mean lots of girls and booze."
"Girls huh?" Collins grinned too. "Dude let's do this shit!" He slammed hands with his friend as they burst into laughter
"Now that's what I'm talking about!"

The room was dimly lit and encompassed in the haze of cigarettes smokes and smell of alcohols. Several dignitaries and hot ladies encircled about them but Collins chose to ignore these things. He was loosing a bet of two hundred and fifty million Pillings to the Chief-in-Power, Mr. Matthew Lancelot.
He had been winning the game against other people but when it reached his final Challenger, Mr. Matthew. His ego pushed him to betting all he had gained.
"Is that your game?" He scoffed as Mr. Matthew proudly sprayed his final ace cards on the table. "I guess I win then." He bluffed.
"I know people like you." Mr. Matthew popped his head closer as he puffed his cigarette smoke. "You tend to bluff when you've lost. Just drop your cards already."
Collins gulped down his saliva while sweats broke on his face. Indeed his cards were a loss but then a devilish smirk dawned on his face.
"You think?" He bellowed and glanced briefly at Michael rooted by his side.
"Now!!" He yelled and Michael launched a tear gas grenade. In that swift moment, Collins briskly scooped his money and Mr. Matthew's 250 million Pillings in a briefcase. Without further ado, he and Michael stormed towards the exit.
"Get him!!" He heard one of them say and their pace intensified. He tossed one briefcase to Michael as they ran like mad men, being chased fiercely by Mr. Matthew's bodyguards.
As those bodyguards neared them, they both diverted separate ways. He cornered into a tiny street by his left while Michael trotted to the right.
In that moment, he jumped into a shady orange portal he created upfront. He landed amongst the crowd, in a Subway. Where no one would notice him. The predestined location of where he would meet his friend if things went haywire.
"Dude! We just stole The Chief-in-Power's money!" Michael blurted excitedly as he approached him by the side.
Collins grinned devilishly.
"We couldn't afford to lose."
"I warned you though." Michael laughed. "So what are we gonna do with five hundred million Pillings?"
Collins wore a smirk.
"Spend it!"
