Chapter 27: Chapter 27

The lady had the most innocent look on her face, her hair was tied up together with a bow on her head, finally, she falls her eyes to me and walked close, introducing herself.

"Hello, my name is Elena Kahn, I am Liam's wife".

Did I pull back creating a distance between us, how? When? I don't understand"   I said to myself, but suprisely the pending question I had was answered by  Liam himself, I quote "you are not my wife, remember you were declared dead, did you forget?".

He walks up and pulled her away from me, they both had this angry look on their faces, but not as much as Liam who folded his hands in anger.

"Okay, I know that I did wrong but do you want to blame me? I was only a child and being in a relationship and also pregnant wasn't something I wasn't?"  She says hurling her hands away.

"Really, wow, you can be so selfish, how dare you, come back here and say such rubbish to huh! For over twenty years, you left me and my son alone, I knew how hard it was for me to take care of him, I tried to give him but the love of a father and a mother". He says in a high tone.

Elena weaves out a deep breath, as she Veered and saw her son, startled by the sight of her.

"Ma..mom?".

Liam poked his head aside and rushed to his son, who almost fainted seeing the same woman who he thought was dead a long time ago.

Not only that, Mike strolled answering a call, he walks past in a hurry but veered back when he saw her. In a state of shock he lets go of his phone, depleting to the floor, Tatiana also walks out of her room and the moment she saw her, her voice echoed all over the house.

We all gazed at her shocked, Mike ran to his brother and asked, "please tell me this is a silly joke! Because I don't think I am seeing my sister-in-law who died a long time ago, standing right in front of us".  His words spurred out of his mouth.

Liam couldn't get himself together, he quietly walked away, to his room.

"Liam?"

Elena tries to go after him, but halted when Mike held her, "where do you think! You're going?".  He inquires knowing fully well the answer to his question.

She runs a serious look at him, veering a two-step backward, "get the hell out of my way Mike, or else you won't like me at all?".

The threatening voice she used, lowered his eyes down, he moves out of her away like a good little boy, as she veered over to Liam's room.

"May I come in, Liam?".

It gained his attention, as he gave in to her words, Elena moved closer to him wearing a weak smile.

She says: "I know you might be shocked but let me explain myself, please".

Her magic words urged Liam to give ears to her explanation, he seats on the bed idling for her explanation.

Elena pins a weak smile on, after seeing his cold reaction, "your anger is justified Liam but let me explain to you" for the second time she copied back her words to him, rather her words cooked up negativity in his head,  he gets up from the bed and dragged her out to the living room.

We quivered in fear the second we took heed of her words, she begged him to listen as they veered closer to the front door.
