"I hope we aren't interrupting anything", asked Mia with a mischievous smile on her face.
"Nope not at all", Jessica quickly responded while I keep quite thinking about what happened when I touch her soft skin, the unexplainable sparks.
I swear I feel like am becoming insane.
"OK, they let's all go to her respective seat", dragging Jessica along with her.
"Alpha Alexander it's almost time for the introduction of the ball all the guest has already arrived except the witches, shall we proceed", I nodded my head in response following up to the stage, my whole body expression changed from a confusing love stick teenager to alpha business model.
My head was held high in the air with both confidence and arrogance, my whole body was oozing alpha power and each wolf I passed bowed their head and bent their neck in submission.

I step down and look for where my so-called escort was standing walking in her direction.

I guess I deserved that but that was the only excuse I could come up with because I was extremely attracted to her more than any other woman in my entire life and I can't explain why.

Suddenly a thunderstorm was heard outside and six witches appeared flying in the air on top of a broomstick and magic ward in their hands towards the entrance, the atmosphere got tense.
The head priestess clam down dressed in her black clothes, her pointy hat on her head, and signature black lipstick.
She stood in front of me calling out my full name in respect and acknowledgment.
"Alpha Alexander Dominic, direct descendant of the moon goddess, I greet you"
"High and respected priestess of the witch coven you are welcome to my humble pack"
"Am not going to waste your time and bit around the bush" she said seriously.
"Danger is lurking around you, you must be careful of the people you surround with because your race is in danger and only you and your mate can stop it", She spoke in riddles.
What the hell was she talking about?
I let out a humorless laugh "I have not to meet my mate so how the hell are we supposed to save the entire race".
She look at me like I was stupid," then who the hell is this young lady by your arms".
Everywhere was so quiet no one spoke.
How could I have forgotten about Jessica by my side?

"As I said earlier I haven't found my mate and the young lady by my side is only an escort " I felt my wolf growl in my head.

I turned to look at Jessica but she also has a confused look on her face like mine and everyone else here.
It was either she was playing a prank, joking or she finally lost her sanity due to too much magic.

"So this is what she wasted my time to say," I said turning to alpha Damien.
"Alpha I had no idea she was going to say something silly because she sounded serious"
"It's not your fault she wasted my time... Well done on the arrangements, you did a good job", he nodded his head.
"Thank Alpha".
With that, I left him and went with Jessica still in my hands both of us quiet and walking back to our seats to enjoy the party wondering what the hell just happened.
