l left the girls at the store to go pick up a very important call from Alpha Damian.
"Talk to me Damian, how's the planning going", I heard him sigh from the other end, I won't blame him, Organizing an event that will contain thousands of werewolves and witch is not an easy thing... certainly not a walk in a park.
"king it going well actually except that it going to be a masquerade ball, it was a last-minute decision", he paused for a while then continued.
"and ... ", he said nervously.
"and what Damian", I asked him rubbing my temple.
"well it's concerning the witch's coven, the head priestess said she wants to see you urgently, she says it is important for the whole supernatural race especially the wolf", he rushed nervously.
The head priestess who is the leader of all the six witches alive hardly meets with me because she dislikes Werewolves except it's important, the last time I saw her was fifty years ago when my parents stepped down as alphas so she swore me in, so what will be so important for her to want to see me not even waiting for the ball first.
The head witch has lived for two thousand years some say even longer but that is just rumors because too me she loved like she in her mid forty, she looks scary with those her black clothes wearing a pointy hat and a black lipstick that look like she just walks out of a horror movie and her magic wand that the only cool stuff she carries and guesses what she does have a broom she flies around with. werewolves aged slowly but a witch age ten times slower, if that's possible and sure magic, has to do with that.
" well tell her to wait till the ball first, then we can discuss privately", I said back to him through the phone.
"I do just that because she sounded like it was a life and death situation", he said worriedly.
"just has told, got it", with that I cut the call without even waiting for him to reply.
I need to discuss this with John immediately, that I went back to meet the girls.
"there you are, I was looking for you", Mia said breathing heavily like she ran a mile.
"I'm here so what"
"you don't have to be rude, I just want to tell you that i and Jess are going to the food court to eat so if you are joining us let's go cause I'm starving", rubbing her tummy as an effect to get her point across.
"I didn't mean to sound harsh I just received a disturbing call and yes I coming I will like some food inside of me and after that, we are leaving ", I said to her.
"well let not waste any time shall we, Jessica is already waiting for us by the stand", that I followed after her to the direction of the food court. After eating I told the girls that it was going to be a masquerade ball so there were excited and went shopping for their masks to use after that I took them back home.

Back at home(office)
"calm down Alex,we still don't know what she wants it may not even be bad news"
John tried calming me down but it's not working, ever since I got home I told John what Damien told me and I have been pacing around.
"don't tell me to fucking calm down, john didn't you hear what I have been sayings for the past twenty minutes, that old scaring witch wants to see us, we all know that when a head witch wants to discuss something with the alpha king it's bad news, maybe a war is building up, am sure those dirty bloodsuckers are planning something", I ran my hands through my soft hair tiredly and collapsed on my chair.
"like I said we don't know that for sure all these are just fucking assumptions", he tried calming down again but it's not walking.
"The point is the whole Wight will seat on me to save the day like a fucking superhero, and don't you get if there's a war without my mate I can't access my lycan power", burying my face between my hands I looked up at him.
"what if my mates died that why I can't meet her or worse what if she's human, how I'm I going to introduce her to my world"
"like I said stop making stupid assumptions and wait till the ball before we meet the head coven, then we get our answer", I nodded my head in response.
"so how far with the security, i want you to extend border patrol to a little bit outside the pack's territory because I don't want any harm on my people after the attack of Jessica I need to be careful ", for another stupid reason after she was attacked my wolf was always worried about her safety.... weird
" OK I do just that but I have a question why are you rude towards her? mia told me she doesn't like you and am guessing the feeling mutual right"
"yes.....you know how I feel about darker skin women who are too curvy for my taste", I told him lying through my teeth to him and myself... I could feel my wolf glowing at my response.
"cut that bullshit with me we all know that not through and that racism", I could tell he also was getting annoyed because his mate was also dark and curvy, his instinct was telling him to defend his mate it was only natural.
"well she has these annoying scents that piss me off and when we touch we kind of burn each other so it's very easy to dislike her", I avoided the part that was in my dream she's all I can think about and that pisses me off.
"that's weird anyway I just wanna her to be comfortable here that all", he said in a brother way.
"I see what I can do but don't expect me to have a tea party with her ", he rolled his eyes at my response and starts walking out the door.
"Alex I see you later my mate is feeling lonely I she's asking me to join her", that he finally walked out.
I could feel my wolf feeling sad about us not being with our mate and his feelings have started getting to me too with that thought of my mate and meeting with the head priestess I drifted off to sleep.
