Sophie's POV ~

"Go upstairs." I ignored Thiago's firm tone, my eyes fixed on Antonia. "Get her out of this house Thiago." Antonia smirked at me causing my anger to rise higher if that was even possible. I glared at her as Thiago came over to me. "Sophie." I ignored him once again and this time he used his hand to move my chin so that I was looking at him and not at Antonia. "I'll deal with it. Just take him upstairs."

"Actually I think you should stay Sophie. We've got a lot discuss and after all, we are here for you." I frowned at Kaito who was busy eyeing my body with lust in his eyes causing Thiago to growl lowly next to me. I forgot I was only wearing some comfy shorts and a t-shirt - it was pretty late at night and I was exhausted after moving back to Milan today. "Sophie has nothing to do with any of this."

"Actually she does, it is her that he wants." I frowned in confusion and turned towards Thiago questioningly. "Who?" Thiago was busy glaring at Kaito with his jaw clenched so it took him a moment to answer me. "No one you need to worry about."

It went quiet while Thiago and Kaito glared at one another neither of them willing to be the first to break the stare. Call it male pride or whatever. The silence was interrupted when the front door opened revealing Matteo, he quickly came over to me when he saw Leo awake in my arms. "What the fuck are you doing here? Go upstairs."

"Not until she's out the house." Matteo groaned and turned towards Thiago. "Why is your wife so stubborn?" I glared at him while Thiago just rolled his eyes, a small smile playing on his lips. "At least put Leo upstairs." Matteo glanced over at our two 'guests' before turning back to me looking down at Leo protectively. He had become seriously protective of his nephew over the last three and a half weeks. "I'd rather hold onto him until they're out Matteo. I don't want him alone even if the baby monitor is on." He sighed but nodded understandingly before turning towards Kaito, he didn't even look at Antonia and she didn't like it one bit. Matteo is very good looking, not as good looking as Thiago in my opinion but he's not far behind; the second Matteo entered the house she was trying to get his attention.

"What brings you all the way from Bangkok?" Although the words he said weren't threatening, the tone he used was a completely different story. Matteo really didn't like Kaito, you could see that from a mile away.

"I'm here to see Sophie." I frowned at his comment and instead of questioning him again I sighed and walked past Thiago making my way into the living room. This was taking too damn long and all these selfish people were standing around in the hallway while I'm there holding a baby listening to their conversation going round and round in circles. As soon as I had my baby I lost all my patience.

I took a seat on the couch and smiled at Leo who was staring blankly at me. "Don't worry we'll get rid of the baddies soon baby." I heard Thiago chuckle as he sat down next to me on the couch. "Why are they still here Thiago?"

"Sorry tesoro, I'm really trying not to argue with them and let it get too heated around Leo. You know I won't be able to control myself if they say or do something stupid and I don't want him getting hurt." I nodded with a small appreciative smile on my face and leaned over placing a kiss on his cheek just as Matteo came and stood next to me. "Ew." I just rolled my eyes at him before Thiago spoke. "If you're lonely and desperate for love I'm sure that will take you." I chuckled at Thiago's comment while he gestured over at Antonia who was glaring at the three of us from her place by the door; Matteo looked at her before shivering in disgust. "I'd rather take Kaito over her thanks." His response caused us both to laugh which led to Leo trying to imitate the sound.

I smiled at him and tickled his tummy causing him to squirm and wriggle in my lap. All three of us were busy watching Leo who was surprisingly wide awake this late in the evening, when a throat cleared across the room. I sighed at the interruption and looked over at Kaito who seemed a little more pissed off than he was before - probably because we were paying more attention to Leo than to him."Sophie, you have one last chance to leave Thiago. Tonight." Kaito's tone was cold and threatening but I just stared at him in amusement completely unaffected. That's what happens when you've been on the receiving end of Thiago's worst tempers; nothing else can affect you. If you manage to survive that is. "Really?" He nodded and stepped towards me causing Matteo to tense up next to me, his protective side coming out straight away. "Why's that?" I kept my voice calm and steady while I spoke, mostly because Antonia was in the room and I wanted to show her she didn't intimidate me one bit.

"It's all part of bigger things Sophie." I nodded feigning interest. "Bigger things? Like what?" I cocked my head to the side waiting for him to respond, my obviously fake reaction caused Thiago's lip to twitch up into a smile. "It doesn't matter, you just need to leave Thiago. Take that thing and go."

" Leo and I are perfectly fine here thank you." I glanced over at Antonia when I spoke enjoying the slightly surprised expression on her face - she clearly didn't expect Thiago and I to be on good terms after her intervention. "Even after everything he's done to you Sophie?" Kaito shook his head in mock pity. "Come on. He forced you to marry him, he's hit you numerous times, he cheated on you before you got married and after you had a baby. Oh and he made you try to kill yourself. I'm sure you can think of other things though, there must be some things you've kept private." I frowned at Kaito who was smirking at me along side Antonia. I don't know how the hell he knew all of that about me, the way we got married is open knowledge but the other things were the private things that Kaito just mentioned. I know we definitely didn't tell many people about what happened when I tried to stab myself, only Carlotta and Matteo know about it. Now that I thought about, I still didn't know how Dante found out I was even pregnant. We found out with Thiago's doctor at home and only told his family. This whole thing is strange.

"How did you know all that?" He shrugged and sent me a smile showing off his pearly white teeth. "I have my ways. All I'm saying is that you deserve better. You didn't deserve to get caught up in all this." Thiago was silent and tense next to me when Kaito glanced in his direction. I knew he was trying his best to keep his very short temper under control just for Leo, which I was grateful for. I didn't want anyone getting hurt because of these two, they're not worth it.

"We've moved on from all of that." He nodded and sat down on the couch across from me. "I thought you might say that. Here." He pulled something up on his phone before passing it to me. "I blurred out the inappropriate bits just for Antonia's privacy. I think now you should change your mind about leaving." My eyes were glued to the picture on the phone which looked like it had been taken from Thiago's office window in Milan. Thiago was leaning over Antonia who was basically naked on his desk, his hands were on either side of her like he had just done it me earlier to stop me from moving. What was happening at that moment was crystal clear in the picture. Thiago took the phone out of my hands when he saw the devastated expression on my face.

"You fucking bastard. You know this isn't what happened. That bitch planned it." Kaito chuckled and shrugged. "The camera doesn't lie Thiago." Thiago shook his head and threw the phone down on the floor before turning to me. "Sophie-"

"Nothing happened?" I cut Thiago off and he nodded in response to my question with desperation evident on his face. "lo prometto, niente è successo tesoro." (I promise nothing happened sweetheart.) I stared into his eyes which were full of panic and despair while he waited for me to respond. I cleared my throat and looked down at Leo who was whining and frowning at me like he was about to cry - like he knew what was going on. I quickly stood up and slowly walked around the room as I rocked him in my arms. I used this time to think about what to do, eventually I decided and I kissed Leo's forehead when he finally seemed happier. All eyes were on me as I stepped towards Kaito well aware of Matteo who came up behind me."Get the hell out of my house. Both of you." Kaito shook his head and sighed. "Are you sure you want to do this Sophie? We left you alone knowing there was a child involved, but Dante is impatient."

"I don't give a fuck about Dante; and you can tell him that. I love Thiago, I don't care about your 'bigger things', he's my husband and that's all that matters to me."

"Okay." He nodded and stood up making his way over to Antonia. "I told you Thiago, putting your family first is going to come back to bite you." I turned to Antonia who was glaring at Thiago, my husband came over to Matteo and I and placed an arm around my waist.

" She'll always come first. You never matched up to her Antonia, and you never will." She shook her head and sent me a look of disgust. "You'll get what's coming to y-"

"Why are you doing this Kaito? You worked with us and now you work for Dante?" Matteo quickly cut off Antonia causing me to smirk at her; Kaito shrugged in response to his question. "Money and power, why else? He also promised me a go with with Sophie." I rolled my eyes and stepped closer to Thiago. "In your dreams." He just sent me wink before turning back to Matteo.

"You can always buy me back at the right price, but for now I work for Dante so I'll be doing what he asks of me. Just to let you know though, I don't like hurting children. Whatever happens is Dante's call not mine." Thiago stepped around me coming infront of me when he saw the glare I was sending to Kaito in response to his threat towards my son. "Get rid of her and we'll talk. I'll give you whatever you want." Kaito nodded causing Antonia to scoff. "My relationship with Kaito is stronger than ours was Thiago. He wouldn't ever do that."

"No?" Thiago smirked at her before turning to Kaito for his answer. "Give me some time Thiago, I'll get back to you." Kaito placed a hand on Antonia's back and guided her out of the living room. Matteo went with them to the front door while Thiago took Leo out of my arms.

"Sophie.." I shook my head and smiled at him. "I trust you." He stepped towards me and kissed my forehead. "Thank you." I know it was stupid and you're probably all thinking I'm an idiot but I just didn't believe that he would do that to me. Something about the way the picture was taken didn't feel right. I just had this thing inside me telling me to believe Thiago, so I did. He told me nothing happened and I didn't want to know what happened after that, but I know Thiago and I know he wouldn't lie to me. Like he said before if he cheated on me with Antonia he wouldn't try and hide it from me. I already knew that though because our relationship didn't start based on love, I have no way out of this marriage so he has no need to lie if he wants to cheat he can. I can't leave him and he knows that.

"You guys are fucking bi-polar. One minute you want to kill each other and the next you're like this." I turned around to look at Matteo who was watching the two of us in the doorway. "Don't swear Matteo, I've told you both so many times."

"You just swore at Kaito, how is that fair?" I rolled my eyes and walked past him heading towards the stairs. "I'm allowed, I'm his mother." Thiago laughed at this behind me. "Don't argue with her bro, you won't win."

I heard them talking as I made my way upstairs, a few minutes later the front door closed and Thiago came into our room. "I think you need to change his diaper." I nodded in amusement and stood up. "I love how when it comes to diaper changes its always me." He gave me a grin before placing Leo in my arms. "I'll just wait here." I rolled my eyes at him and took Leo into his nursery to change his diaper.
