Chapter 53: Chapter 53

Aurora's POV

I was overwhelmed with happiness watching the great Lycan king groaning in pain as I tortured him with all the demonic charms I had. My fellow demons kept taking pictures and videos, which they sent to his son through magic powers.

I badly needed Jaden here, not for a mere mockery, but to kill him instead. I already have a total change of plans.

"Are you sure he will come here? Why didn't he follow his parents at first? " The demon king asked. I shrugged, knowing he was expecting me to answer all that.

The demon king is here already, and all the demons have already entered this pack. I thought the demon king would give me time to flex and mock this pack, but he seemed eager to take control of the wolf kingdom and Lycans.

Before the Lycan warriors came, he and the remaining legion of demons had already arrived. He was the one who attacked the Lycans unexpectedly and trapped them before they could think of fighting back. Now all he wanted was for Jaden to come over, so he would be killed alongside them.

The death of these strong warriors, the Lycan king and queen with their son, would bring an end to the hope of the Lycans, as they wouldn't have any chance against the demons.

Just a few hours later, an uproar was heard outside, and even though the demon king and I wanted to ignore it, we couldn't, because it was a sound of joy and victory, not from the demons, but from the werewolves.

We both ran out in confusion, wondering why the werewolves, who should be crying, were squealing in excitement all of a sudden.

We got out, and what I saw left me confused and terrified to the bone marrow. Our nightmare was right in front of us. Someone we thought was dead was not only alive but had regained her great powers.

Ava..

"You said she was dead?" The demon king snapped at me in anger and fear, but it wasn't time to blame anyone. Almost all the pack members were all out chanting her name as if she wasn't the same girl they all hated and maltreated.

Ava wasn't acting like she saw them. She just kept killing all my demons on sight.

I scrubbed my eyes continuously and looked more meticulously to be sure my brain wasn't playing tricks on me.

Someone should just tell me I fell asleep and must be dreaming. It can't be that Ava has been alive all this time.

She can't resurrect and come back now because this is the last moment when I'll end it all. The day when my long-held desire to destroy the pack is realized

I thought no one could stop me. I thought I had already won!

Ava was done killing thousands of demons in a few minutes, and she turned sharply at me with those intimidating eyes, and for some moment I felt intense fear.

It was the first time in my life that fear gripped me so deeply. I felt that fear of dying, the fear of being a loser at the end. I took various steps backwards, gluing my eyes on her as she finally landed on the stage, slowly with her wings and appearance, which had no difference from that of the moon goddess.

The entire Silver Moon Pack, who had been dumb and sober the entire time, let out happy screams and whistles when they saw her.

"What are you doing here?" "How the hell are you still alive?" I asked, confusedly.

"Oh, you thought you had already won, right? I'm sorry to disappoint you! Today you will be the one to die instead. " Elena huffed and flapped her wings, her eyes sparkling with fire.

"What is it?" I was about to ask something when I felt something like lightning strike me so quickly.

"You can't run." I heard Ava smirk as she looked at something beside me. I trailed her gaze and saw she had struck the demon king. He wasn't so powerful yet as he hadn't possessed any wolf body and had transferred almost all he got to me.

It shocked me to see him turn to dust right in front of my eyes.

A round of laughter and joyous screams filled the atmosphere. I felt embarrassed, my cheeks flushing red. This couldn't be happening!

I sprang up and faced her with a smile.

"Don't be too confident in defeating me; I'm not that easy!" I chuckled and screamed so loudly with my eyes shut. There was thunder and tremors. I swung my left hand to where she stood, and thick black smoke filled with poison spread out. I also muttered some magic words, and my twelve serpents crawled out of my body and sped to where she stood.

I moved my eyeball around using some magic to send a message to all the demons.

"Kill everyone at sight!" I ordered them. The demons in the Silver Moon pack now number close to 200, only with demonic powers.

Ava might escape my attack and return her attack on me, which I might not survive, but before all that, her pack members will die in large numbers.

"You are the one being too confident here." Ava scoffed, and I didn't even know how she did it. All I saw was my serpent leaving her and turning back to attack me. Even the poison was reversed and started oozing back to me.

It was so fast in reverse that I couldn't dodge it.

"Your pack members will all die!" I screamed at her in excruciating pain, and I could see the terror in her eyes as she turned to them. I also forced myself to see how my demons would be killing the defenseless pack memebeu, but I was faced with another heartbreak. Jaden was fighting those remaining demons all alone with his dark powers, which he got from the demons in the past.

"Kill him. Don't be baised. He also has demons in him. All his powers were from the demons!! " I yelled, and Ava swipped her arm at me, and that was my end.

A sharp blade slit my throat.

Jaden's POV.

I saw the demons trying to harm her pack members behind her back, and even after knowing she would kill me once I came out and fought, since I was also a half demon after getting dark powers from the witch, I still couldn't sit back and watch her family die.

I was done killing the remaining demons when she swung towards me in attack. I knelt there with my eyes shut, waiting for her to kill me.

There was no point in fighting back when she was far stronger than me, and she was that nightmare I had been running away from. I needed power, so I went the wrong way.

"Kill me for my sin. I won't hate you for that. I deserve it, "Those were the last words I mumbled as I anticipated death.

"Please take me out of here. I don't want to stay in this pack anymore." I heard her meek voice, and my eyes opened sharply.

My beautiful Ava had returned to normal and was looking down at me with her teary ocean blue eyes filled with passion and love.

"Huh?" I muttered confusedly..

"Everyone is safe now, including your parents. Take me to your kingdom, because that's where I want to belong. I am ready to be your queen forever. Those dark powers in you will leave you alone as the demons are dead. I can't hurt a strand of your hair because you didn't hurt me when you found the slave mark. " She smiled brightly, and I felt my heart tugging in great excitement.

"I promise to be the best thing that has ever happened to you." I cooed and stood up, wrapping my arm around her slender waist as I drew her closer to my body.

She crossed her arms around my neck and crashed her lips deep into mine.

The End Of First Season.
