Red Adamson ~
Surprisingly, in coincidence out of the list of songs that Charlie had helped me with, the one that they happened to be tuning was ‘Unbreakable.’
The lights were off so I am pretty sure that no one saw us enter except those that were at the fore-side of the stage making them to cheer loudly. The thought of going against my mom came into my mind but I waved it off. I held on to the microphone and at the perfect instant, I jumped in making the lights go on - courtesy of Ryan’s professional team.
‘I’m sorry mom! I just have to do this!’ I said to myself in thought before I sang into the microphone.

After the last word by Red, the instruments went off and for a few seconds, so did the stage lights. In the darkness and silence of the stage, a voice was suddenly heard.
The voice of Ryan McFlame.
“She finds it hard to trust someone. She’s heard the words because’ they’ve all been sung. She’s the girl in the corner, she’s the one that nobody loved.”

I looked at Ryan and smiled. He looked back at me before going into the chorus of the song. It puts me in awe how he listened to the song once and thereafter, he was able to capture and recall the lyrics perfectly.
“When you lose your way and the light is gone, your heart starts to break and you need someone around. I’ll just smile and close your eyes while I put my arms around you and make you unbreakable.”

“I can’t walk away until….” Ryan suddenly stopped singing at the sight of Red.
Ryan released the microphone from the grip of his hand and with eyes glued on Red, he raced towards her with speed. When he got to her, he forcefully took out the microphone from her hand, turned it off and asked, “Who are you?”
“What are you talking about? You’re going to ruin the song if you don’t give me that back and get going with the lyrics.” I whispered to Ryan urging him to let go of my hand.
“You know perfectly well!” Ryan said before pulling up Red’s arm and to her surprise, it had taken the form of a lycan – hairy and a bit brawny, and the power behind it was making the form spread slowly all over her body.
“What the…”
What’s happening to me? How is this possible? One second I’m singing with my arm intact and now it’s suddenly having the appearance of something else. Something out of the ordinary. Could my eyes be playing pranks on me? No! It can’t be my eyes because Ryan sees it too.
In fact, I think he knows what is happening to me because he seems so anxious asking me who I am with a mood that suggests anger.
By now, the entire band had stopped playing. Ryan had succeeded in ruining the Halloween gig as everyone began wondering what was going on on stage.
“Did Cassius send you?” Ryan asked pulling out a pocket knife out of his costume pocket.
“Red!” I heard Gar call getting to the base of the stage before he paused trying to catch his breath. “I’m sorry but I need you…. I need you…. I need you to take us both to your mother! Something’s happening and….” Gar stopped talking immediately he saw the appearance of Red’s arm.
“It’s happening to you too, isn’t it?” “This is going to sound really crazy. I don’t know how but there’s a voice in my head that wants me to save you from something bad that’s about to happen.”
“This must be your Alpha?” Ryan said advancing towards Gar with the pocket knife ready to force it through Gar’s chest. “If you don’t answer my questions, I promise you that you won’t be able to answer any one else’ PERMANENTLY.”
“Dude? What gives?” Gar said trying to free himself from Ryan. “Put the knife down!” “Are you Elena?” Gar asked looking at me.
At the completeness of this statement, Ryan released the knife few inches from Gar’s chest and brought it down. He turned to look at me.
“You’re not Red Adamson, are you?”
“Are you Alessia’s…. I mean Sofia’s daughter?” Ryan asked me with stern eyes.
At this instant, my head feels muzzy. My skin keeps getting hairier by the second and I feel a certain rush of power flow through me. What in the world is happening to me?
This can’t be normal.
Something out of the natural is happening to me and here comes Gar acting like the same thing has happened to him before. Who is Elena? Who’s Sofia? And why do they both think me to be Elena?
Why do they both act not surprised? They must know a lot about what is happening to me right now that I don’t?
“I have no idea!” I said in confusion. “I…I..”
Red fell to the ground and fainted on the stage. Gar and Ryan brought her out of the stag and took her to the school’s infirmary. They both wanted to ask questions but none of them needed the answers more than Red and her mother was the only one in this world that could tell her the truth about herself. Her life was about to change more than she possibly would have ever imagined.
“She’s awake!!”
I opened my eyes to find myself in the school’s infirmary with Ryan and Gar in the ward with me.
“What happened?”
