Chapter 33: Chapter 33

Chapter 32

Cassius Rein ~

I stopped the transformation and pushed the beast in me back in. I guess he too is feeling my anger towards this whole spell-thing.

“Guards!!!” I called out.

If I can’t go to the human world and put an end to that nuisance of a trybrid, surely, my best and strongest warriors vested with some extra abilities, just to make sure they could do it perfectly and without hindrances. I have been watching her for the past decade and if one thing is for sure, for some reason, her powers are dormant.

That means by the time that those lycans get to her, she will be as powerless as….well, she will be as powerless as a human.

“My Lord!” two guards walked in with bowed heads.

“Get me Anthony, leader of the Silver Crest Pack!” I said. “Now!!!” I roared making them exist with bowed heads in a manner most likely driven by fear.

So far, Anthony and his pack have proved to be the most reliable and strongest amongst all other packs in my army. Due to the fact that I am always having them train, they almost never go on missions unless I wanted them to.

They were the perfect pack that I need to handover a mission such as this. They are my cluster of skilled and stealth assassins.

Some few minutes went by and while I was pacing, I perceived a knuckle about to have contact with my chamber doors.

“Come in!” I said halting in my steps.

“My Lord! You requested my presence.” Anthony said with a slight bow. “Whatever is it that I can do for you? I assume you didn’t send for me all the way from celebration going on in the village, the one time that I and my pack get to be free from training just so you could have me…”

“Shut that mouth of yours before I make you lose it. Is that any way to talk to your sire?” I asked with my hand already forcefully squeezing on his neck.

“My… mmy… apologies…. Sire! Probably, I must have had far too much to drink that it is messing up my sense of reasoning. My Lord!” Anthony struggled to speak with a few gasps of breath here and there.

“GOOD! I have a job for you and your pack. It’s a very simple job and if you all are fast enough, you’ll get back to the celebration let’s just say in about a minute or two.” I said letting go of my hand that was on his neck.

“Something about you saying the job is very simple makes me think that it is actually going to be a pain in the ass for me and my pack.” Anthony said after catching his breath and having his hands folded. “What is it that you need done?” he added with an evil smile on his face.

I turned to him and smiled. Using a very powerful teleportation spell, a dark cloud of smoke came upon us both and took us to an open field by the outskirts of the lands.

“What I have in mind is for you and your pack so…” I waved my hand over the air and the entire members of the Silver Crest Pack appeared with the same cloud of smoke right behind Anthony.

Exempting their luna, they were fifteen in number, such a small pack with such magnificent capabilities for destruction.

“Right now, I have a mission for all of you here present. There’s a young girl in the human world that goes by the name, Red Adamson. I need…”

“Wait, you are sending us to the human world? The job that you claim to be so simple is in the human world? My Lord, that’s…. that’s suicide.” Anthony said interrupting my address to him and his pack.

“Would you shut the fuck up and listen?” I said to him with stern eyes after imprinting a slap on his face. “I need you all to go there and put an end to her existence. None of you have been to the human world but I have so I advise you drag in little or no possible attention. That would make your mission a whole lot complicated than it has to.”

“You are sending us after the trybrid child, aren’t you? You are sending us after the daughter of the lady Alessia and Leonard?” Anthony alleged with all audacity.

For some reason, Anthony has failed to respect or at least fear me. I guess that hardening his heart so much for so long must have really done a number on him. If not that he was my number one ally when I took down the former and late king and he was very valuable, I would have slit his throat a long time ago.

“Yes! I am!” I replied before conjuring up a metallic material and gluing his mouth to it.

I have a bad feeling that if I allow him to keep on talking in such a manner, I would end up killing him with my bare hands very very soon.

“I am aware of the fact that using the regular portals that the witches make use of to supply the vampyres human blood from the human world, you all would lose your powers right before you even walk out from the other side of the portal.” “You would definitely not be using that portal but something much…much powerful.”

“You will be using one that would allow you to keep your powers and abilities as lycans plus some upgrade.” I said giving Anthony a fierce look.

I conjured up the doorway right in front of them. I was done explaining their mission. It was time for them to get to it. I fortified them with a little extra powers and strength just to be on the safest side.

“Enough talking! You all know what you have to do. Find the girl and make her history and I don’t care what you have to do or lose!” I said with an amplified voice.

“You are the alpha of this operation. Kill that girl and do it stealthily, if you must. As soon as you have ended her, call my name three times and I will bring you all back. The trybrid girl doesn’t have her powers yet so you won’t have any obstruction or hurdle when dealing with her.” “You and your pack are the first pack ever since the dawn of magic to step feet into the human world and still get to possess your supernatural powers. See to it that you don’t fail me.”

“She lives at this address. Look for it and do the needful. Do this as quickly as possible!” I said conjuring up a piece of paper containing the address of Red Adamson and Flora Adamson whom I suspect to be Frederick’s mate.

“…and also, watch of for Sofia, the vampyre king’s bride and the phoenix leader. Both of them are in that world and I have no idea what they are up to. It is possible that they still remember how to slay lycans even without magic or magical weapons so be careful.” I added freeing Anthony’s mouth from the metallic material.

“But what about….” before Anthony could finish his statement I passed the doorway through him and he was gone.

“Someone needs to tell that alpha that he bloody needs to keep his mouth shut. For fuck’ sake, he talks too much.” I took myself and the portal back to my chambers with hopes that Anthony and his pack would be enough to put an end to the trybrid.

“It has been done?” Varga asked crawling to me with a questioning look.

“Almost!”
