SCOTT’S POV

I stared at her in the eyes and tried kissing her but the elevator suddenly opened

We moved away from each other immediately…

I was really startled

I used my hands to cover my face as the rays of light reflected on my face.

It must have been repaired; I thought to myself

God why now? How am I gonna face her like this?

But wait oh, Did i really confess my feelings towards her?

Oh my! I cant believe this

I hope she loves me too

I slightly removed my palms from my face and set to go out from the elevator but suddenly noticed we arent yet on the 5th floor where the lecturer office was

Gosh, I muttered silently to myself and walked back into the elevator

We are still on the 3rd floor

I closed it and clicked on fifth floor

I stared at Lilys direction and it seems she is still shocked with what happened

She didnt even come out of the elevator when I did

I dont think I can face her too

I feel very shy

We stayed silently inside the elevator until we got to the 5th floor

The elevator opened and we walked out together

I turned to the direction of the lecturers office and she followed behind

Not long after, we got to the entrance of his office and knocked

Come in, we heard a voice from inside

It must be the lecturer; I thought and opened the door

He was seated on his seat compiling some files

As he saw us entering, he smiled

"Have your seats," He said pointing at the chairs in front

"Ok sir, thanks." We chorused and sat at the front of him

He was done arranging the files

He placed it in a corner on his table and fixed his gaze at us

"Welcome guys, I really appreciate your coming," He said to us

"Thank you sir," I said and heaved a sigh

Lily was still moody, Im sure she still feels somehow shy

She didnt even reply him, she just kept on sighing since

"Whats wrong with your girlfriend?" The lecturer asked squeezing his face

"I dont know either," I said and paused in exclamation with the reply I have him

What? Wait oh?

Did I hear him say girlfriend?  I thought surprisingly

Did I just replied him?

Gosh! I must be stupid not to assimilate his questions well before answering

"Is she not your girlfriend?" He asked as if he had read my mind

"No sir," I replied shaking my head

"Well, but you guys are in love with each other right," He said smiling

I because short of words.

Likez nothing seems to come from my mouth.

I just stared down shyly

He laughed

"This your love is just like a person who dont wanna admit that he has a parent," He said with a smile on his face

I stared up at him

"What do you mean by that sir?" I asked

"You guys have to admit the fact that you are in love with each other, you know what Lily, i noticed that in you most especially thats why I called you both," He said facing Lily

She moved her gace towards him and he nodded

"Yes, you know what, Scott, please excuse us for some minutes, I will come back to you later, " He said to me

"Alright sir," I replied and walked out gently

I heaved a sigh as I closed the door behind

LILY’S POV

I stared up at him as he said that statement

Am I really in love with Scott? I thought

Scott walked out of the office

It remain only me and the lecturer in the office

He moved his gaze to me and looked into my eyes

"You know what you dont understand?" He asked

"What?" I asked

"Love is emotional; you might not be able to control it. Denying your feelings can make you end up in hospital, do you know that?" He asked

I shake my head

Fine, let me ask you this question, please be honest, at least he is not here because you might feel shy or somehow

"Do you love Scott?" He asked

"No sir," I replied and he heaved a sigh

"Tell me the truth Lily," he said calmly

"I don't know sir," I replied and this time, he fixed his gaze firmly on mine trying to get the answers.

"Lily, stop denying your feelings, you might that why is his lecturer concerned about our relationship but I am man that loves things to be in order. I'm a relationahio advicer from the start but you might not notice if i didn tell you so please just tell me the truth and I will kept it a secret from him if that's what you want," He said still fixing his gaze at me.

I heaved a deep sigh as I became short of words.

I don't even know what to say.

I closed my eyelid a little and uttered the word "Yes," unknowingly.

What?

Did I just admitted that I love him?

Gosh!!

"You love him but why are you denying the fact that you do?" He asked firmly after a while of studying my reactions

"Sir, but he is too arrogant, I cant bear it, I can't fall in love with him," I said

He laughed

"But you have already did that my dear, and dont tell me its because of his behavior you are denying your love for him," He said

I moved my gaze down at little

"You know what? You can change him, dont deny your feelings because of his bad behavior, if you continue like this, then you are wounding yourself and I bet it with you that you will regret it so put yourself together and stop denying your love for him. Is that clear?" He asked calmly

"Yes sir," I replied still staring down

"Alright, Call Scott in," He said to me and I nodded

I stood up and walked out of the office

As I opened the door, I saw him at the door entrance

"He said you should come in," I said to him shyly and he nodded

He followed me in and we sat down

"Hmmm, Scott, do you love her?" He asked teasingly

Scott stared at his face and smiled

"Why are you smiling at me? Answer me," The lecturer said

"Hmmm," Scott muttered with his gaze away from the lecturer

"Or are you shy to talk?" He asked

"Does she love me?" He asked and I stared at him instantly

"Why does he need to know?" I thought

"Well, I dont know, you can ask her." The lecturer said to him

I heaved a sigh still staring at him

He turned to stare at me and our eyes met

OMG!

We stared at each other for a long time without knowing

The lectuer smiled

"Oh my God, they are truly in love," The lecturer said laughing

That was when we realized we had been staring at each other since

I quickly moved my gaze

"Guys, you know you can go, your case is settled. I just want the best for you two," He said picking up and file

"Ok sir, thanks," I said standing up

"Thank you sir," Scott also said to him

We walked out of the office and turned to the direction of the elevator.

Not long after, we got there and he pressed a button

It opened and we entered

He pressed another button inside and the elevator began moving

After some minutes, the elevator opened and we walked out

We walked to the car park together.

His driver has been waiting for him

I stared around looking for Nickys car but didnt see it

Where did her driver parked the car? I thought

I picked my phone from my bag and checked the screen only to find 10 missed calls

Oh my God!

I clicked on it and noticed its Nicky

MY God, maybe her driver got tired of waiting

I dialed her number and she picked after some time

Hello baby, where did you put your phone? She asked

Im sorry baby, its on silent, where are you? I asked

Im at home, my driver got angry because you are late. Im sorry, She said

No problem dear, Ill board a bus. I replied

Ok dear, bye; she said

Bye, thanks. I said and hung up

I heaved a sigh as I dropped my phone.

Oh my God, It means Ill just be searching for bus here and there again. I thought squeezing my face

I stared at Scott as he entered his car

His driver drove away from the car pack

I have no choice; I thought and started walking out of the school

As I got to the bus stop and waited for a bus to come

Suddenly, I saw a bus coming and I was excited but unfortunately, I missed it because as I tried entering, a car parked at my front.

I squeezed my face angrily

What the fuck, the said staring at the bus that just passed by me

Suddenly, I heard a familiar voice coming from the car

I stared down and noticed its Scott

Scott? I called squeezing my face

Come in, he said smiling

Oh, no need for that, Ill see another bus. I said

Hmm, baby, I said come in; He said

Gosh! He called me baby again

It freaks me

"Will you?" He asked sweetly

I stared into his eyes and sighed

Fine, I said opening the door

He shifted for me and I sat down

The driver drove off

Suddenly, the driver stopped

Why? Scott asked

"I need to the toilet," he said

Which toilet? Scott asked furrowing his brows

"That public toilet over there," He said pointing at the toilet

"Alright, dont be late," Scott said

"Ok sir, thanks," the driver said and walked out immediately

I heaved a sigh

So, is this how we are gonna stay inside the car all alone? I thought

There was silent

Who will start the conversation like this? I thought

Suddenly, Scott cleared his throat and stared at my direction

I also stared at him

Lily; he called

Yes, I said

Do you love me? He asked looking into my eyes

I never expected that question

I stared down

Look at me and tell me, dont stare at the floor; he said pulling my face up

His touch on my cheeks is lovely

Answer me, do you? He asked

I feel so shy to reply him

My heart keeps pounding than ever

"I love you, Lily. Please, I want you to love me back, my heart keeps pounding anytime I see you; I dont think I can live without you. Seeing you in tears or being sad break my heart, since I have ever known you, there is no day I wont dream about you. Please Lily, Ive never loved a girl before in my life nor confess my feelings for anyone but in your own case, I cant help but tell you how I felt, since you came into my life, I experienced changes in my life, I realized my bad attitude towards people. You changed me completely Lily. Please this is the last time I wanna ask you so as to know where my fate lies. Do you love me too?" He asked in tears

Tears has started rolling on my cheeks too

I couldnt control the tears

"Lily, do you love me?" He asked again

"Yes, I really do love you," I replied breaking into more tears

"Thank you," He said and hugged me

After some minutes, we unlocked from the hug and stared into each others eyes

Gradually, we moved our lips closer to each other and in tears, we kissed
