SCOTT’S POV

"Hey, get into the car," I said to the driver when I got to the car park area

"Okay sir," He replied and opened the car door and entered

I also entered and he started the engine

He drove out of the car park area

After some minutes, we got to the gate and he horned but the security man refused to open the gate

"Whats wrong with this old man?" I asked my driver

"I dont know either, he just refused to open the gate and told me to park the car," My driver said

"Park the car at that corner," I said pointing at a corner behind the security post

"Okay sir," e said and parked

The driver opened the window and the security man stared inside through the window

"Who are you?" He asked my driver

"Well, I am his driver," he said pointing at me

The security man moved his gaze towards me and frowned

"Where are you heading to during school hour?" He asked

I rolled my eyes

"Its none of your business old man, can you please let me go?" I asked

"You are proofing stubborn right? I asked you where you are heading to and you are telling me its none of my business, I dont think you are ready to go out of this compound today," The security man said angrily

"Cant I go out of the school anytime I feel like?" I asked squeezing my face

"No sir, you cant because you are supposed to be in the class now," He said

"But no one stopped me yesterday." I said

"Yes, because the man there yesterday isnt competent enough, as an educated man, I know its wrong." He said

I laughed

"Old man, are you trying to tell me that you are educated with the way you look like?" I asked staring at him from head to toe

"What? What kind of insult is this? Dont you have respect for elders? Are you looking at me like that because I am a security man here?" He asked angrily

"Yes, an educated man who is well educated and know what he is doing cant be working as a servant or gate man here but in big companies." I said and stared away

"What? Are you insulting me or what?" The gate man said angrily

"Close the window," I said to my driver and he did.

"Hey open that window now unless I will break it," He said banging on the window glass

He kicked it hard with his hands and I got angry.

I opened the door and came out.

"Mr. man, please respect yourself," I said angrily

"Why are kids so disrespectful these days?" He uttered bitterly

I shot a stare at him and walked to the gate

I tried opening it but he held me back and gave me a hot slap on my cheek

"Ouch, how dare you slap me?" I yelled

"You have no right to open that gate," He yelled back feigning in annoyance

He walked to the gate and closed it then removed the keys.

"Then kindly open it for me," I said to him

"Never will I do that," he said and turned to enter the security house.

"Whats happening here?" An average man said walking towards us

Suddenly, the security man stopped and faced back.

$Nothing serious sir," He said bowing

"Nothing serious?" The man asked when he got to where we were

"Its just that this boy tried going out of the school and I stopped him telling him he cant be permitted to go out but he started insulting me," The man said pointing at me

"Is it true, young man?" The man asked

"Who are you?" I asked staring at him

He stared at me pitifully and heaved a sigh

"Well, Im the director of the school," He said

"So whats your business with this case? You are asked to direct the school not to roam about," I said arrogantly

"What nonsense?" The gate man said exclaiming

He (the director) just smiled

"Where were you heading to during school hours?" He asked dodging my question

I shot a stare at him and hissed

"Well, if you had no answers to my question, you are going nowhere and get this into your head; there is no movement during school hour again. If you cant follow the rules in this school, go to another school," The director said

I heaved a sigh

"What are you waiting for? Go to your class, you this arrogant boy," the gate man said and I shot a stare at him

"Young man, being rude and arrogant isnt the best, try to know your elders and be respectful," The director said smiling and walked away

I heaved a sigh and entered back into the car

"Drive back to the car park," I said to my driver and he nodded

He reversed and drove off to the direction of the car park

After some minutes, we got there and I got down from the car.

I walked into the school building and turned the direction of the class

Not long after, I got to the entrance of the class and heaved a sigh

How am I gonna face Lily now? I thought

Well, God help me, I thought again and opened the door

As I entered, everywhere became lousy all of a sudden

I was really surprised

I can hear some people teasing Lily and so on

Wow, he has finally arrived, some said laughing

I stared at the teacher and he was also laughing

I moved my gaze to Lily where she was standing

She was surprised to see me because I can sense that with her expression

I just heaved a sigh

Suddenly, the class captain stood up and shouted ORDER and the class became silent

I stared at the lecturer who keep staring and smiling at me

She really missed you so go and have your seat, the lecturer said to me

She? Who is the she? I thought

Im sure you know who is she is, he said smiling

I stared at him surprisingly and walked to my seat

Lily was already seated back on her seat

So, back to class, the two couples have seen each other now; the lecture said smiling

Yes oh, the class chorused and laughed

After some minutes, the captain stopped them and the teacher continued teaching

I heaved a sigh

But wait ooh, could it be Lily that missed me? I thought

Oh my God, I hope she loves me too; I thought

Not long after, the lecture told us to pick up out textbook and opened to a particular page

I heaved a sigh and stretched my hand to pick up the textbook by the left not knowing it isnt mine

As my hand got to the textbook, I felt another hand on it.

I felt Lilys hand for the first time

I was startled at the touch of her hand and quickly removed mine from hers

Im sorry, I said staring at her

OMG! She also stared at me at that particular time and our eyes met

Gosh!!! My heart beat faster.....
