Chapter 285: Chapter 285: Spirit orb of the North Part 2

"Die! Die! Die! Die! Die!" Bodies dropped left and right as Amaya cut them down with ease. Demons and humans who were drunk off the demon pills tried their hand at fighting her, but they all failed miserably. achieveabel

She slashed swords with a demon who was really talented, skilled enough for her to actually try somewhat. Their thrusts, slashes, and sword clashes were faster than the wind and created small shockwaves that carried their power.

Amaya directed his sword toward the ground, pressing her foot against its hilt, and used earth magic to swallow the blade. In the same moment, she kneed the demon in the face, then jumped on his neck, stabbed him in the head while locking her legs around his neck, then backflipped off him, throwing the demon into a nearby wall.

Being a demon, his vitality was very high, so he didn’t die. That didn’t matter, though, as Amaya was in his face before he could register what happened and split his head open with her hands.

"Weak ass bitch." She spat on him, then went to find her next opponent.

Over on the other side of the battlefield, Sasha was like a tank, the way no one could get past her defences. Demons attacked her from all angles, but either their attacks were too weak or their bodies were, as some of them splatted to death on her shield projections.

"This is the army that took over this place? What a joke." She spun her hammer into the air, then slammed it down on the ground, creating a miniature earthquake and a bunch of earth spikes that tore into her enemies.

"Heh, seeing you dead is a lot more interesting than you all trying to fight me." Sasha rocketed into the air, grabbing the throat of a demon who tried to attack her while being invisible.

"I could see you from the start." She snapped her neck and then threw her into another demon. When Sasha landed, she changed her hammer into an axe and sliced down the demons around her.

"Come on! Show me what you got!" Lightning crackled from her weapon, and water swirled in her hand. Together, she created a storm cloud that rained down lightning on every demon and human in sight.

Then, she turned her axe into a sword and slashed at the air, sending a slash of lightning toward a horde of demons who came her way, killing them all in one shot.

"Aw, man, you killed them all." Amaya had tried to join in on the fun, but Sasha finished them before she could.

"There’s still the demon Knight."

Amaya shook her head. "Gwen said she’ll handle them. Wanna just go where the spirits are and take their kills?"

"Sure."

"Sweet."

Near the Demon Knight, Gwen rained down fire on every person there, smiling with pleasure as she watched them burn. Their screams, their pleas, it was all music to her ears.

"Filthy demons." She cursed.

"Die, you slut!" One brave demon took his shot at slaying Gwen, but he didn’t even get close to her when he burned to death from her fiery aura.

"Time to lay waste to this place. Through fire, everything shall be reborn." Ten massive blue fireballs formed behind Gwen, but before she could fire them, ten black beams snuffed them out.

"So you’re the pests who disrupted my meditation." The demon flew up toward Gwen, looking her directly in the eyes with disgust and annoyance.

"You’re the demon Knight?" Gwen looked him up and down and was not impressed. Demon Knights weren’t as powerful as demon lords, but they were still very powerful. However, she was stronger.

"I have no interest in speaking to a dead woman." A black beam fired from his finger, aimed directly at her face, and connected with it.

"Tch, typical mortals, waste of my fucking time."

"You’re pretty weak for a demon knight."

The demon turned around, eyes wide and visibly confused. Gwen was still there, not a scratch on her, and her clothes were perfectly fine.

"I underestimated you. That shall not happen again." His eyes morphed, turning to slits as horns grew from his head. Black feathery wings extended from his back, and a tail grew from his tailbone.

"If Kai were here, he would have talked my ear off about how ’cool’ it is to transform or something. Well, since you showed me this, I guess it’s only fair to answer back in kind."

Red scales formed around Gwen’s body as she morphed into her draconic form. Her teeth grew, her eyes changed, her hands and feet transformed into sharp talons, and she grew a tail and wings.

Once her transformation was finished, a powerful wave of mana was released from her body. It had been a while since she had gone all out, and she nearly forgot how to suppress her power.

"Sorry about that, I nearly killed you before we could even fight." She cracked her neck, and a wicked grin appeared across her face.

’What the hell? H-How did she become this powerful? What is going on? I-I need to get out of here!’

"Oh, no. You’re staying right where I can..." She blinked into existence right in front of his face. "See you."

"W-What the fu-" The demon felt his inner organs burst as Gwen twisted her fist into his stomach.

"AGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!" He crashed into the ground with a loud boom, which created a massive crater. Even though he was in pain, he had no choice but to move quickly, as Gwen was already attacking again.

"Die, you dragon bastard!" Ten skulls of demonic energy blasted toward her, but she just knocked them away as if they were nothing but play toys.

"Fucking hell!" The demon knew he stood no chance against Gwen, so he booked it out of there.

"Scared ass bitch! Get your..." Gwen appeared above him, punching him in the face. "Bitch ass back down there!"

A rush of excitement filled Gwen’s body as she flew back toward the ground. She landed on the demon, punching his face again, nearly knocking him out.

He fought back, shooting a powerful blast of demonic energy in her face, but she literally ate it and blasted it back at him, burning his face nearly off.

The demon healed, but it wasn’t enough to save him from Gwen’s wrath. She broke all of his bones, grabbed him by the leg, and slammed him into the ground multiple times, ripped off his wings and tail, then ripped off his arms, and finally slammed a massive blue fireball on his body, incinerating him before he could even use the orb to increase his power.

"That was pretty fun. A lot easier than I expected. Oh, who am I kidding? He was just what I expected in terms of strength." Gwen grabbed the orb and flew toward the others to help them kill the remaining enemies.
