The wolf could be heard sounding as it staggered on all fours, its head woozy, head already bleeding while it glared at Zen who stood huffing and panting in sheer exhaustion but regardless, he still clenched his hands into fists while staring at the beast.

The beast howled loudly as it darted towards Zen at full, tremendous speed that in a few seconds, it was upon him with a thrust of its horns towards him at dangerous speed.

By the skin of his teeth, Zen pivoted to the side letting the horns skim past him. Then with all the strength in him, he smashed his fists into the beast sending the creature tumbling for a few inches before it halted its steps and abruptly and instantly spun around before swinging its paw towards him.

The Reaver didn’t waste a second as he immediately punched the air pulling his sword out of it and then clashing with the paw with all the strength he had.

The air shook, the ground trembled beneath his feet as he got pushed back a few inches, his heels carving trenches in the ground.

"Just shut the fuck up you stupid system!" Zen roared as he swung his foot towards the beast with all his might and it struck it right in the muzzle sending its whole body tumbling backwards.

"Shit! I need to find a way to finish the beast now." Zen muttered in panic as the beast lunged towards him and in a burst of speed, leaped into the air towards him.

’You have given me so many hit, here, have one for yourself too!’ he thundered inwardly as he immediately ducked down allowing the beast to leap past him.

In one smooth movement, he thrust his sword slamming it into its exposed stomach causing the sword to go in deep and letting black blood gush out and with all his strength, he smashed a foot into the furry beast sending it tumbling and bouncing across the ground with fissures running deep.

The beast could be heard yelling, it began writhing on the ground, its side bleeding but it still wanted to finish its job as it could be seen rising up from the ground, its black eyes locked onto Zen intently.

It appeared directly in front of him in a split second already preparing a lightning attack as its maws were wide open ready to shoot out lightning when all of a sudden...

Zen was nowhere to be seen as he appeared around five metres away from the beast just in the nick of time to see the lightning attack it unleashed carve through the ground and more trees totally disintegrating them.

Glancing around, he caught the sight of a dead beast and without hesitation, he grabbed the beast. Though it was slightly heavy, he didn’t care as he hurled it towards the beast with all the strength he could muster causing it to scream through the air catching the wolf’s attention too late.

The dead body smashed into it with so much force that the beast was immediately lifted off its feet and crashed into a tree therefore breaking it and it landed on its back.

Zen didn’t waste time as he gripped his sword tighter and with grim determination, he bolted forward almost like a blur just in time to catch the beast slowly standing up when he suddenly leaped into the air.

The shout drew the beast’s attention as it glanced up to see the human in the air with his sword raised above his head. The wolf smirked as its maws opened up wide and a bright light shone in it.

Lightning began crackling around Zen’s blade and just at the right time as the wolf fired out a bolt of lightning towards the airborne human.

The Reaver too swung his sword with all the strength he could muster as a huge slash of lightning shot out with full speed and in a split second, it connected with the bolt of lightning in a resounding bang followed by an explosion and a shockwave that almost knocked Zen out of the air.

If it wasn’t for the fact that he braced himself and landed on his feet, he would have gone flying just like the beast which was skidding backwards, its paws digging into the ground with all the strength it had trying to hold itself back from flying.

Zen didn’t waste this opportunity he was given, with blood dripping down his mouth and eyes blazing, he bolted into the cloud of dust and smoke which was kicked up as he appeared directly in front of the still stunned beast.

"I will never give up, I will never bow! So you can go to hell!" Zen roared as his speed was now inches away from the beast.

[Phantom Edge Activated]

His sword connected with the beast’s neck with all the strength he had as he could be seen gritting his teeth. The lightning crackling from its furry body was also hitting his sword and in turn biting his body while he drove his sword deeper into its neck, blood gushed out.

Out of desperation, the beast opened up its maws as a bright light appeared causing Zen’s eyes to widen in horror as his sword was now about seven inches deep.

"Fuck this!" He thundered as he slammed his foot into the beast with all the strength he had in him sending it skidding a few inches with the light in its maw growing brighter and brighter.

Almost immediately, a white slash from nowhere appeared and slammed into the beast’s neck, the exact same spot Zen’s sword hit and it drove much deeper finally causing its head to drop down with a thud, the glow in its eyes and maw dimmed before dissipating.

"Is it over?" Zen huffed and panted in exhaustion.
