Azura's POV

He took me inside and whispered into my ear, "This is how I will cross the threshold with you after our wedding." I trembled with yearning at his words, eager to hear more.

"Then I will make love to you just like I am about to, now," he said as he bit my ear tenderly. My whole body was alive hearing his words and I eagerly waited for him to continue.

"But what about the milk, meat, and grocery items in the car? The wild animals will have a picnic with it," I said and he laughed heartily putting me down slowly.

"Ok, you win, let's get them inside," he said as we went to get the food.

We got the food and stored it away. Adrian already had the cabin cleaned. I prepared a simple dinner of one-pot chicken rice with mushrooms. We enjoyed the meal on the lighted patio looking at the dark shimmering lake, so still and yet mesmerizing.

Adrian told me stories of when he used to come here with all his brothers. They would go fishing, hunt rabbits, go birdwatching and make bonfires, and dance all night. I sat there listening to him in awe. His life was so different from mine. He was born with a golden spoon yet he is the most down-to-earth and understanding guy alive. He didn't have the typical arrogance of wealth that billionaires usually possessed. I am so lucky that I met him.

After dinner, we cleaned up and then Adrian picked me up bridal style and started walking to the bed. "I have unfinished business to complete," he said, smirking as I rolled my eyes at him.

Suddenly I heard a loud cry of a wolf echoing from the nearby woods. Petrified beyond control, I wrapped my arms around Adrian's neck and hid my face in his neck. "I'm scared, Adrian, t-there's a wolf out there. It will come and get us," I stammered shivering in fear.

He chuckled as if I had said something hilarious. "Hold onto me tightly babe. Don't go alone anywhere, okay? We are safe inside so you have nothing to be afraid of," he said as I clung to him.

He put me down on the bed and followed me to the bed, his eyes taking me in as if he was seeing me for the first time. I could feel that there was something on his mind but I didn't ask him anything. I wanted to see what he had planned for us.

"Excited?" he asked, leaning down to trace his tongue down the length of my neck to my throat. I trembled as a burning need to feel him inside me washed over my body.

"Yes, and you?" I asked him breathlessly.

His fingers unbuttoned the top I was wearing, slowly, one at a time. "You have no idea how I'm restraining myself." I knew, of course, his eyes told me everything. We didn't need words to communicate our needs to each other. He slowly undressed me, his fingers pleasing me in every way, roaming and caressing every mound and valley of my body that only he knew about. I too explored his, pleased him and he groaned with a tremendous need. I knew that he had reached his limit. Stripping his clothes off in a hurry, he thrust deep inside me, building up a rhythm. I moaned with pleasure, my hands gripping his shoulders for support as he made love to me like there was no tomorrow. We climaxed together but he was instantly hard again. I knew he was always insatiable around me and we made love again till we were too exhausted, and fell asleep.

The next morning we had breakfast of toast, eggs, and bacon with coffee and sat at the private dock, with our legs dipped into the water, watching the water and the surroundings.

"Wanna go for a swim?" He asked and I jumped up and fetched our swimming costumes. We swam for half an hour, showered together, and made hot steamy love in the shower cubicle.

We went to catch fish for lunch. It was super fun as Adrian taught me how to hook worms and catch fish. I caught two fat fish while he didn't catch any. I teased him as I cooked a simple fish stew.

"You love fishing, but the fish love me," I teased as he just stared at me.

"I love you too, but do you love me?" He asked staring into my eyes as I stopped what I was doing, staring back into his eyes, trapped in their hypnotic depths.

He came closer to me and pulled me into his arms. "Answer me Azura, I love you with all my heart and soul, do you love me?"

I nodded at him. "Say it, babe, I want to hear it from your mouth," he said stroking my cheek.

"Yes Adrian, I love you, I have loved you for a long time, and will forever. Can't you feel it?" I confessed.

"Yes, I can." He said as he claimed my lips in a soul-stirring kiss.

We ate lunch, feeling extremely content that we finally could express how we felt about each other.

After lunch, we went out to explore our neighborhood till we were too exhausted and returned back to the cabin. We cuddled and watched a movie together. It was a happy movie and when the lead characters ended up married to each other, I wondered when Adrian would propose to me.

We had dinner, made love, and slept happily.

The next day I woke up in a happy mood only to find that Adrian wasn't sleeping beside me. Where was he? He wasn't in the bathroom or the balcony. So, worried, I was about to get up and go searching for him when the bedroom door opened and Adrian came in with breakfast.

"Good morning, babe! I made breakfast for you," he said as I stared at the food that he prepared. Grilled cheese sandwiches, three berry salads with honey and mint dressing, and coffee. I looked up into his eyes with disbelief. "It all looks delicious Adrian? I thought you couldn't cook." I said as he grinned.

"I learned. I can do anything for you," he said as I helped him place the tray down. There was a small note along with a rose on the tray. I picked the note up,

The day I first saw you, I knew in my heart that you were the one for me. I have loved you since then and will love you forever. Now that I know how you feel about me, I want us to be together just like we're destined to be. Let us embark on our destiny of love and togetherness, and let us unite as one, in a journey of love.

I was touched by the note as tears of happiness fell from my eyes. I picked up the rose and kissed it. Adrian took out from a blue velvet box, a diamond ring with the letters AA on it engraved within a diamond-studded heart.

"Will you marry me, love?" He asked, going down on one knee before me.

"Yes," I whispered, too choked to answer.

He placed the ring on my finger and kissed me. We then finished the breakfast that he made so lovingly.

"When are you planning the wedding Adrian?" I asked him.

"Whenever you want, I can wait till you're twenty-one," he said as I nodded vehemently.

"No no, let's get married next month?" I said as he grinned.

"Ok, but since you're too young, we will have children only when you're ready, that too after three years at least. You have to complete your studies and settle down in your career first," he said as I nodded in agreement.

We cleaned up everything and ensured that we packed up all our stuff, we locked the log cabin and climbed into the car, and drove home.
