Julian's POV
"Why don't you rest?" I asked Cassie seeing her pale face. After the wedding, she really was exhausted and needed the rest. It was late afternoon and the sun was about to set. Mom had insisted that we spend a few days here since we weren't going on a honeymoon. I agreed to see that Max was so happy here that he didn't cling to Cassie anymore. She could get some rest.
"Why don't you change into something comfortable and sleep for a while, Cassie?" I asked her tenderly. She looked up at me and nodded.
"Are you sure? I mean today's our wedding night after all," she reminded me shyly. I smiled. As if I had forgotten but with her so exhausted, I couldn't think of enjoying my wedding night.
"We can have a wedding night every night. Why don't you rest a while? If you're feeling better, we can still have our wedding night," I said with a wink. Cassie smiled and got up to change. I left her and went out to enjoy a drink with my brothers.
"What bro? Why are you here on your wedding night?" asked Adrian with a grin. "Did Cassie throw you out?" he chuckled. I glared at him and sat down beside him with a drink.
"She isn't well. I let her sleep the exhaustion off for a while," I informed him.
We discussed work for a while. A new project was coming up and we needed to take care of it. Jason and Tristan joined us as well.
"So when are you announcing your wedding Addy? You're the only one left now in the family to get married," said Tristan.
"Soon, and mine will be grandest of all," stated Adrian.
"It can't be if you give a two-week ultimatum," said Tristan with a laugh. I got up after finishing my drink.
"See you tomorrow. I'm retiring for the night," I announced and they all teased me. I turned a deaf ear to them and walked out towards my room. I would also catch up on a little sleep with Cassie. Even if we cannot consummate our marriage tonight, we can always cuddle and sleep.
The room was dimly lit and Cassie was lying on the bed, deep in sleep wearing a beautiful pale blue wedding nightwear that one of the girls had gifted her. Although she had covered herself with a duvet, I could see her ample brea*ts spilling out of the sheer fabric. It made me groan with need. Yet I didn't wake her up.
Quietly changing out of my tuxedo, I lay down beside her, smiling at her adorable face. She was undoubtedly the most beautiful woman on earth. She was my wife, the mother of my child! I went underneath the duvet and she sighed contentedly as if knowing my presence beside her even in her sleep. Turning towards me, she wrapped her arms around my torso and pressed the entire soft length of her body to mine. I pulled her closer and embedded my face in her hair. This was the most comfortable position on earth and I immediately fell asleep from sheer exhaustion.
It was late when my eyes suddenly flew open. I could feel Cassie's fingers roam around on my chest while her hot lips were pressed to my neck. Sweet Baby Jesus! Was she kissing me, seducing me, wanting to consummate our marriage after all?
"Umm, Cassie, what are you doing?" I asked with a smile on my face. She was wide awake and pressing sweet kisses all over me. I was immediately hard and aroused.
"Initiating our lovemaking. What else do you think?" she asked with a breathless laugh. I was surprised that she wanted to please me so much despite her condition.
"But what about your health? Don't you need rest?" I asked her, my body responding to her torture already. I couldn't go back to sleep after what she had started. I was abnormally hard.
"I'm perfectly fine now. Of course, I want to make love to you on our wedding night. Why else do you think I'm wearing this dress?" she asked with a laugh making me chuckle.
I wasted no time and threw the duvet away out of excitement. She laughed at my impatience.
"Easy there, Mr. lion," she said with a laugh.
"Lion's cannot take it easy," I said with a growl, making her laugh. It was like music to my ears. I took off the dress and stripped the matching lingerie off her as well.
"You're are looking so beautiful," I said, stroking her whole body. She did the same to me.
"So are you, my dear hubby," she said with a grin.
It made me so excited that I couldn't restrain myself any longer. What followed was the most tender lovemaking possible, as we both showed one another how much we loved each other. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding night. After climaxing together twice, we lay sated against each other to catch our breaths.
"I'm hungry, Julian," said Cassie. I smiled at her tenderly and got up to go and get her something to eat. My heart was at peace, I was happy. I was complete.
