Cassandra’s POV

The master suite included an oversized bathroom with a steam shower, a Jacuzzi tub, and a luxurious dressing room with a walk-in closet full of clothes, all looking brand new as even the price tags were still intact. They weren't mine, so whose clothes could they be? I wondered who needed so many clothes? I decided to ask him in the morning. It was too late to explore, so taking out my pajamas from my suitcase, I went to the dressing room to change.

Julian came out of the washroom with only a towel to cover himself, which the moment he saw me, he dropped it to the floor and strode towards me all naked and aroused. I blushed and covered my face with my hands, "Julian, please," I said unable to form any sentences. He really had no shame! Even after making love so many times, I still felt shy and bothered by his behavior. Was I abnormal?

"Please what, baby? It's nothing you haven't seen before. Get used to this as I love being naked around you. I've got you now to myself, you're stuck with me forever," he smirked as he pulled me into his arms, crushing my body to his as I felt his arousal rock hard against me. I was overwhelmed by that admission. What he said kept replaying in my head, giving me hope.

We were stuck to one another forever!

I closed my eyes waiting for his kiss. I had noted his dark eyes and already surrendered myself to him. His fingers tangled into my hair and he kissed me passionately, lifting me up and carrying me to his bed.

"Welcome home, darling," he said as his mouth started working its magic on my body, arousing me to the point of no return within seconds. What we had between us was indeed magical as we devoured each other hungrily, unable to get enough of each other. The lovemaking that followed was as hungry, wild, and passionate as always. It however made him insatiable and I tried to match his passion with mine.

The room echoed with our moans but we were past caring. It was our home after all! Finally, exhausted I slept peacefully in the warmth and comfort of his arms.

The next two days went by with Max and I excitedly exploring the house. Julian wanted Nora to shift to the room next to Max and stay at the house. Being a fifty-year-old widow, Nora lived all alone in a rented apartment far away from Julian's house. She was ecstatic at the prospect and shifted immediately. It relieved me and I could continue to work without worrying about Max. Nora kept him happy and looked after him well and Max had already bonded so well with her that leaving them alone didn't bother me at all.

A few days after I shifted into Julian's house, I fell violently sick while at work at the academy and had to return home early. The whole day, I couldn't eat a thing and lay down to rest feeling dizzy and weak. Nora tried her best to relieve me with medicines and soup and it helped for a while.

Julian came home and was worried sick about me. He didn't go to work the next day and stayed to look after me, scolding me for not taking good care of myself. I knew I had neglected myself lately with work and Max's responsibilities on my shoulders. When I still didn't feel better, he summoned a doctor who checked me and drew some blood for a standard blood test and left.

After another bout of vomiting, I felt all the more tired and drained out. I didn't remember eating anything toxic. I was deeply worried when a thought hit me, I remembered having the same symptoms when I was pregnant with Max. So, was I pregnant again? There was a chance since Julian never used any protection and I had completely forgotten about being on birth control pills. I wondered how Julian would react to this pregnancy? Would he accept the baby? What would his family think of me? I decided to wait for the results of my blood test to be totally confirmed before announcing the news to Julian and then to his family.

I was too sick to attend work the next day too and threw up everything, even water! Nora grinned knowingly at me but thankfully didn't mention anything to us. She looked after me and Max effortlessly and I was glad to have someone to lean on.

Hearing of my sickness, mom and dad came to visit me in the evening. Max looked wide-eyed at mom and dad, seeing them for the first time. "Max, meet your granny and grandpa," I introduced them to him while mom and dad looked at him indulgently.

He gave them a wide-eyed and innocent look full of questions. Finally, unable to control himself, he asked, "Aal you my Daddy's Mommy and my Daddy's Daddy?" he asked mom and dad. They were immediately bowled over by his cuteness.

Dad picked him up, "Yes, we are. You're such a grown-up boy. How did you know so much?" He asked kissing Max on the cheek.

"Come to granny, Max," said mom as dad placed him down and Max went up to her and hugged her. Then he climbed down and held dad's hand, "Come grampa. I show my cars to you. I ave many. Soo manny," he said spreading his hands to show a lot. I was surprised to see how easily he accepted them in his life although he just met them for the first time.

When they left my bedroom, mom sat down beside me, "Are you pregnant, Cassie?" She asked in a gentle voice.

"I think so mom, but I'm waiting for the blood test report," I told her truthfully. There was no point in hiding it since she would know anyway.

"Does Julian know?" Mom asked me.

"No, I wanted to be sure first," I told her.

"Didn't you test at home?" She asked confusedly.

"No," I told her thinking about why I didn't test at home. It didn't at all strike me.

Julian walked into the room, straight from work with an envelope in his hand and a huge grin on his face. From his facial expressions, I could tell that it was confirmed, that I am pregnant. He passed me the envelope as mom and I read the contents. I am two weeks pregnant.

Mom hugged me, "You've made me very happy, Cassie. Now take care of yourself well and rest, no stressing, okay? I will go find your dad and give him the news," she said getting up and leaving the room.

Julian came forward and hugged me close to him, kissing my forehead, "I'm the happiest man alive, darling. I never ever imagined this day would come so soon," he said, his eyes shining with happiness.

Dad and mom came into the room with Max and Nora. Dad congratulated us and mom instructed Nora on how to take care of me. "We're always there if you need help, alright?" Mom told me and Julian.

I nodded and Julian said, "Yes mom."
