Chapter 147: Chapter 147
Amelia's POV
We checked out of the resort and eventually reached our apartment in New York eventually. It was a hectic morning and we were busy all day packing for our trip. Tristan ordered lunch for us as we both were tired after the ordeal.
"Are you done with your packing?" Asked Tristan, his eyes widening seeing my two huge suitcases. I was busy packing my hand luggage when he fell onto the bed in shock. "Don't tell me that you're carrying a mountain load of clothes? When will you wear them? Most of the time you'd be without anything on!" he exclaimed, making me blush.
I gave him a look. "You won't take me out at all? Wouldn't we go sightseeing? Then what's the use of going to Greece? We might as well stay locked in this apartment and have a honeymoon here. I'm unpacking. Go ahead and cancel everything," I pouted. Tristan held his ears in apology.
"Okay, sorry. I was just kidding. Of course, we'll go out and explore. Pack as much as I want," he said with an eye roll. "Being married is so tough. I would need to apologize for every little thing now!" he grumbled, making me chuckle. I reduced little of my luggage and opted for one big suitcase full instead.
"I need to drop by at the boutique once to ensure that they're doing fine," I told him.
"No, you'd get wrapped up in work and forget our honeymoon instead. Call your manager and find out. I'm sure if she had any troubles, she would have called you already," said Tristan. I nodded and called my newly appointed manager, Elsie Frazer who was really good at her job. She hadn't given me any problems so far and handled the boutique quote efficiently. It was Tristan's mom who had recommended her to me and I was glad that I listened to her and appointed Elsie.
It seemed as if the boutique was running smoothly and I didn't need to drop by. So Tristan and I served ourselves the food we had ordered and sat down to devour it. "This steak is nothing in comparison to what we ate yesterday," said Tristan. I nodded dreamily, thinking of our honeymoon meal yesterday.
"Yeah, you're right but still it's okay. I couldn't have cooked anything, my limbs are so sore," I told him.
"You can strip and I'll give you a massage for two hours," offered Tristan with mischief in his eyes. I shook my head with a smile on my face.
"We'll never reach the airport then," I chuckled. I noted the fire in his eyes slowly throughout our meal and knew what exactly was brewing in his head. Marriage had made him an insatiable and hungry lion but a sweet one though. We finished our lunch while discussing our first destination, Athens, the capital city of Greece.
Afterward, I had just finished cleaning up everything when Tristan came up behind me. I knew instantly what he was up to. "Let's catch up on some sleep before our flight," I suggested playfully and he groaned.
"Who wants to sleep when I have different plans with you?" he asked with a frown.
"Hope I won't have to be carried to the airport. Keep it just once, please," I told him. I knew how insatiable he was. Once we started, we always ended up making love again and again and we never stopped after one round. Tristan laughed.
"I'll try, baby doll but I can't promise anything. Don't worry, I'll carry you if the need arises," he said and I rolled my eyes at him.
He picked me up and carried me to the bedroom as if I didn't weigh anything at all. Depositing me on the bed, he stripped slowly while gazing into my eyes. He was totally bare and although I had seen him a thousand times, his sculpted body had me already dripping wet and eager for what was to follow. He lay down with me, kissing my forehead in an intimate and sensual way, while his hand guided mine to his throbbing hardness. I stroked him just the way he liked it and he closed his eyes with pleasure, a moan escaping his mouth. He absent-mindedly ran his fingers up and down my arms until goosebumps covered my body. I trembled against him, an intense need filling me completely.
"Amy," he whispered.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him towards me for a kiss. I was the luckiest woman on earth to have such a loving husband, a soul mate who understood me so well. We made love and only one word turned over and over in my head. More. I wanted more. I had no control over my own desires, my body with Tristan and neither did Tristan. So although we had planned to have only one round, here we were making love till both of us were completely satisfied. Tristan set an alarm and we dozed off to sleep to recharge ourselves.
However, the alarm went off but we were in such deep sleep that we hardly heard it. It was when Adrian rang the doorbell again and again did we woke up with a start. Tristan checked the time. We were late. Adrian had arrived to drop us at the airport and we weren't even ready! How did we oversleep? Tristan rushed to open the door and face Adrian's wrath while I ran to the en-suite to quickly get ready. Thank God, we had packed everything beforehand.
"Are you two crazy? If I wouldn't arrive, you two would have missed your flight?" said Adrian ten minutes later as he drove us to the airport. Tristan grinned with relief. The last ten minutes had been a marathon for us but we managed.
"You're a lifesaver. Amelia's brothers would have murdered me if we missed the flight," chuckled Tristan and I rolled my eyes. This honeymoon was a wedding gift from my brothers and therefore Tristan knew how Caleb would react if we missed our flight. Adrian chuckled.
"When we return, I want to hear your good news Addy," said Tristan.
"What bro! You two are going away for just a few days. How can I announce something that important that soon?" he protested. Tristan smiled.
"I know. I was just kidding. Take your time," he said. We told him about our special day at the resort yesterday and he was very impressed.
"I'm glad that you two enjoyed it," he said. His tone made me suspicious. Was it on behalf of the resort or was it planned by Tristan's brothers? I would ask Stefan later when we returned from our honeymoon. Adrian dropped us at the airport and helped us unload our luggage.
"Enjoy yourselves to the fullest and I wish to be an uncle when you return!" he said, making my jaws drop. Tristan grinned.
"Seriously?" he asked, pushing him towards his car. Adrian chuckled and waved at us and drove off. We went inside with a smile on our lips and excitement in our hearts, eagerly waiting to start our honeymoon. I always heard other people going on one and now that it was my turn to experience a honeymoon, I couldn't believe that it was really happening. "Greece, here we come!" I said excitedly as we boarded our flight.
