Chapter 121: Chapter 121

Amelia's POV

"We have the AC executive double bedrooms. You all figure out your sleeping arrangements. I have no problems with your arrangements, just leave us and your gran in peace," mom told all of us after a gala barbecue dinner, bonfire, lots of dancing, and singing. "And please no noises in the middle of the night. Hope you understand what I mean," she said as she left with dad and Anna. Anna would be sleeping with gran till the wedding. Stefan dejectedly walked to his room, grumbling all the way. The rest of the guests were to arrive tomorrow night.

Jason and Tristan groaned and rolled their eyes at mom's remark, while Julian just smiled at his brothers and Adrian's cheeks colored a little Strange! We giggled while Azura blushed crimson, and Cassandra looked at the ground avoiding Julian's eyes. Interesting indeed!

We all decided to sleep with our dates. Julian went with Cassandra, Adrian with Azura, Claire with her husband Jason, and Tristan with me. The children slept in the nursery with Martha and Beth. We were relieved to be with each other. The truth was that I hadn't expected us to be sleeping together. I had to admit that Tristan's parents were cool! In fact, they were just the opposite of mine. Tristan and I entered our room and locked the door after us. Thankfully, our room was situated on the far wing and no amount of noise would ever reach mom and dad!

"This room's the best. Right?" said Tristan with a smirk. I knew that he was thinking along the same lines as I was.

"Stefan's so dejected, Anna was forcefully taken away by mom and gran," Tristan said. "I don't understand these rituals," he grumbled.

"I know right, but we can't help it. Rituals were there for generations. We follow some, we overlook others. Maybe separation before the big day makes the wedding night more exciting," I suggested.

"I can't follow this particular ritual, I'll be with you every night," he said seriously as he opened his shirt to take a shower.

My heart started hammering in my chest. Did I hear correctly? Did he mention our marriage? "Our marriage?" I couldn't help but ask.

He grinned, "Yeah, why? Don't you have any plans of marrying me?" he asked, clutching at his heart, feigning a heart attack!

I blushed and stammered. "N-no, I didn't mean that. Yes, I mean. Wait, are you asking me to marry you?" I asked in my state of confusion.

He laughed out loud, "I will, baby doll. I will," He said, leaning forward to peck my lips. All my insides turned to jelly, hearing his words. So, he did have plans of a happily ever after with me. I couldn't stop my mind from going into overdrive as I started dreaming of my marriage with Tristan.

He groaned when the gentle peck turned passionate and we kissed like hungry lions devouring one another wildly. The whole day we were busy with other things and just realized that we hadn't kissed at all. "I was dying to kiss you the whole day," said Tristan, once we released one another to catch our breaths.

"Go and take a shower, first," I said, pushing him towards the en-suite.

"We can save water, you know," he said, walking towards me to carry out his wish. I ran around the room and as I was about to open the door and run out of the room, Tristan held up his hands in surrender and walked away towards the en-suite. I too needed a shower and waited for him to emerge. I could hear him whistling inside the washroom!

Finally seeing him taking ages, I gave up and stormed away to gran's room to take a shower. I returned back to my room, wearing my pajamas and a robe over them.

"Where did you run off to?" Asked Tristan in a displeased tone. I discarded the robe and his eyes scanned me from top to bottom. He slowly came towards me and tucked a stray curl behind my ear. Then he picked me up in his arms bridal style and carried me to the huge king-sized bed.

My hands went around his neck, and I snuggled into his neck, smelling his citrus and woody smell. "I went to gran's en-suite for a shower," I said, kissing his neck, licking and biting the skin there. He groaned, his breath hitched at the pleasure that I was giving him.

"Don't start something you can't finish," he said in a voice husky with desire. We both thought about what mom told us a few minutes back.

"I don't think anyone will hear us tonight. Tomorrow some of the guests might," said Tristan.

I grinned with relief and opened my arms out to him. He wasted no time and followed me to the bed, lying over me, supporting his weight with his elbow. His mouth covered mine and he kissed me softly and tenderly. The kiss resumed where we had left off a few minutes ago, his hands roaming all over my body. He discarded my clothes in haste and attacked me like I was his dessert. I wasn't complaining at all. I loved every minute of it, I loved the pleasure that only he could give me. I tugged at his shirt and helped him get rid of it. He didn't want to open his boxers as we wouldn't be making love. I wasn't ready and we wouldn't want our first time to be this way. We explored each other's bodies and finally, wearing our clothes back. We fell asleep.

The next morning, we had a delicious breakfast and went out to explore, play golf, go swimming at the heart-shaped pool, catch fish at the private lake, go boating, play throw ball, and much more. It was really fun. The resort started filling in with more guests and extended family members. I didn't know them, so I kept to our family. Sometimes mom introduced us and we were paraded around like prizes.

"This is so embarrassing," said Cassandra.

"I hate to face relatives. They're always so curious about you," said Azura.

"I know. They're all asking whether I'm next," I said with wide eyes. They rolled their eyes, grumbling more. We were sitting a little farther away and thankfully no one could hear us whisper.
