Chapter 75 The Witch

PAMELA'S POV

After that bitch locked me in the dungeon, I hated her more than ever. How dare she put me in those filthy cells? If my father heard of it, I was sure she would be locked up in the filthiest cell in our pack, forever. But then, of course, I couldn't tell my father about my situation.

What made me more furious was that Lucius just stood there and let her do whatever the hell she wanted! What was she holding against him that she seemed to have him wrapped around her nasty fingers?

I was so busy coming up with a plan to get her in trouble when I realized that tonight was going to be a full moon. When I checked Lucius' office, he was not there. I was fuming with anger, knowing that those two were somewhere having the time of their lives.

'I won't let her have what is rightfully mine,' I gnarled in my head.

'I think you are a bit too late for that, don't you think?' My useless, bitchy wolf asked.

'Instead of ridiculing me, why don't you help me instead and come up with a plan to get rid of that bitch and have Lucius crown us as the Queen Luna already,' I snapped.

'Ain't my job,' was all she replied before going back to the back of my head.

'Ugh! Useless creatures!' I screamed in my head.

I waited for hours for them to come back, but no one appeared.

"Where the hell are they?" I asked myself.

I had already fallen asleep from waiting and woke up a couple of hours before midnight.

"Shoot! Lucius is going to turn into that hideous beast. I wonder if that bitch already knows," I exclaimed to myself.

I sat on my vanity and brushed my hair as I thought about a plan on how to get this bitch out of my way once and for all.

After gathering all the courage I could, I quietly sneaked to the castle's secret dungeon, where they locked Lucius up during the full moon. The normal 20-minute walk to that secret dungeon turned out to be almost an hour of stopping because of my trembling fear. There were a lot of times where I just wanted to go back and lock myself up in my room, but then if I wanted to get rid of her, I knew I needed to do this.

I was already close to the dungeon, and the growling was getting louder. I was scared that my eardrums were going to explode if I stayed longer than a minute down here.

What I saw next did more than surprise me. It was like someone threw an ice cold bucket of water on me.

She was there, approaching the hideous beast.

'Well, that can either be a brave thing for her to do or a stupid thing. If it's the latter, then we're getting rid of her stress free,' Ella said, scaring the shit out of me.

'Ella! I almost screamed! If they realized I was here, especially that hideous monster, we are dead! While they are busy with that stupid bitch, we should carefully watch,' I exclaimed, scolding her.

I put my hand over my chest as I tried to calm my racing heart.

Well, Ella was right. There were only two possible outcomes, and I was hoping it would be the latter.

I didn't realize that I was holding my breath until I released it when she had finally touched the hideous beast.

'No! How is this possible? She must be a witch! That is the only explainable reason for this. This can't be for real. No!' I exclaimed in my head.

When I saw her lead him to the corner of the room and told him to lie down on her lap, I was surprised that he actually listened to her. They were just sitting there looking at each other as she hummed a lullaby for him.

I was too engrossed with everything that was happening that I almost got caught. Luckily, I could run back to my room before they all came back to their senses.

'Is she really his mate? Is that why she could calm him down and I couldn't?' I asked myself.

'Or she can be a witch, just like you said earlier,' Ella suggested.

'But it does not make any sense at all. If she is a witch, why isn't she fixing his curse?' I asked.

'Maybe her actual plan is to rule the pack on her own. She is planning on getting Lucius killed once she is already crowned as the Queen Luna,' she commented.

'Then why did she leave?' I asked.

All the thinking gave me a terrible headache.

'I think I need to sleep this off. I can't think straight right now,' I told Ella before pushing her at the back of my head.

I woke up incredibly late the next day and with a nasty headache. I kept calling for the guards outside my room, but none of them were coming inside.

"What the hell are these lazy guards doing?!" I scoffed, getting out of bed.

I was ready to give them a scolding, but when I opened my door, they were not there.

"Where the hell are they?" I asked no one in particular.

I quickly got dressed and walked down the corridors. On my way to the kitchen, I bumped into none other than the witch.

"Are you finally ready to show your true colors, witch?" I scoffed.

She looked at me with a confused look on her face.

"What are you talking about?" She asked.

"Are you seriously going to act all dumb and not know anything? I saw what you did last night. Only a true witch could do that. I am warning you right now. Whatever you are planning to do to Lucius and this pack, I will find out about it and stop you once and for all. I will make sure that you will rot in the worst cell ever and die of hunger. I will have my revenge on you, dirty witch," I said, warning her before stomping my way to the kitchen.

'I will have your head served to me on a golden platter soon. I will be the Queen Luna of this pack and nobody else,' I thought to myself with a smirk on my face.
