Chapter 70: Chapter 70

Chapter 70 Punishment

MAIA'S POV

Emily and I stayed at the pack house until the sun had set. I was glad that playing with the kids really helped me get Lucius off my mind.

After we played for hours, we all sat down under a tree and had snacks. Before the sun went down, Emily and I went back to the castle.

As soon as I got down from the carriage, I was immediately engulfed in a hug.

"Where were you? I have been looking for you. I was so worried," he asked.

I could sense pain and worry in his voice.

When he noticed I was quiet, he pulled back from the hug.

"What's wrong? Did something happen?" He asked, searching my eyes for an answer.

"Aren't you busy? Please, I don't want to keep you from your work. Right, Love?" I asked, more like implied.

"What?" He asked.

"I'm tired. I want to take a rest," I said, excusing myself, leaving him behind.

I went straight to the elevator with Emily behind me.

"Ooh! Trouble in paradise?" An annoying voice asked.

I stopped in my tracks and simply glanced at her.

"Is being locked up in your room making you so bored that you're at the point that you are sticking your nose in other people's business?" I asked.

"Oh, come on! You are Queen Luna, after all. You are our business. Unless you change your mind and decide that you want your own privacy. You know what to do," she implied.

"Listen to me, Pamela. Make sure that you will listen carefully because I will not repeat myself. No matter what you do, YOU will NEVER be Queen Luna," I spat, before turning on my heels.

Before I even reached the elevator doors, I was pulled back by my hair, which boiled my blood really fast.

'Seriously? That bitch!' Avi exclaimed.

I grabbed her wrist and turned myself around. After getting my hair freed from her hold, I bent her arms until she was begging in pain.

"Tell me, Pamela. Better yet, give me one reason why I shouldn't throw you in the dungeon right now," I stated, making her beg me.

"You wouldn't dare," she replied.

I let out a scoff and smirked at her.

"I wouldn't? Is that a dare? Are you challenging me?" I asked.

I held her tighter by the hair and pulled her. Lucky for her because we bumped into Lucius on our way out of the castle.

"What's going on?" He asked.

"Lucius! Help me! Please! Look at what this bitch is doing to me? I told you, she is mental! Help me!" Pamela exclaimed dramatically.

"Oh, please! Really? You want to play the victim now?" I whined.

"What is happening here? What did you do this time, Pamela?" Lucius asked.

"I did not do anything! She came to me and dragged me by the hair. Help me, Lucius. This bitch is mental!" She begged Lucius to help.

Lucius looked at me, and I gave him an icy glare.

"Sorry, Pamela, but you are on your own. I don't mess with Queen Luna. You got yourself in this mess. You might as well learn how to pull yourself out of it," Lucius said.

"What! Are you serious right now!? I will make sure that my father hears this! I will have your head, bitch!" she exclaimed.

I pulled back her head so that she was looking at me.

"You know that threat sounds really scary except for the part where I have the upper hand here. If you want, we can go to your Father right now. I'll even go with you," I said with a smirk.

I could see fear and hate in her eyes.

I dragged her by the hair all the way to the dungeons. She started throwing around and fought when we got to the door.

"No! No! Let me go! Stop her!" She screamed, but no one listened to her.

After minutes of pulling, we had finally arrived inside the dungeons. She kept complaining about how smelly it was and how dirty it was. I stopped at one cell and pushed her inside. She lost her balance and fell on the floor.

"Argh!!!! Eeww! Eewww! Eeeewwww! Yuck! Get me out of here, you bitch! Lucius!" She shrieked and screamed.

My ears almost bled from all of her screaming. I took a pipe and hit the cells with it to catch her attention.

"Finally! Can't you shut your mouth for a fucking second? Now listen! The moment that you touch me, let alone talk to me again, this will be your new room. I told you from the beginning. I came here to stay. Oh, and don't even bother asking Lucius for help. Have you forgotten what he did? He left you. Get that in your thick skull," I spat.

I was about to leave when she begged me to let her go.

"No, no, no, no! Don't leave me here. Please! I can't stay here! Get me out of here!" She begged, yelling.

I simply ignored her and went back to the castle with Emily behind me.

As soon as I opened the door to my room, I saw Lucius by my balcony.

"After five minutes, let her out of the cell. It should be enough punishment for her. Let's see if she has learnt her lesson or if she needs more cell time," I said to Emily.

"Okay, Queen Luna," she replied before leaving.

"What are you doing here?" I asked Lucius.

"I came to visit you and to talk," he said, walking over to me.

I sat on one of the chairs near my painting area.

"To talk about what?" I asked.

"Why did you leave without telling me? You seem mad at me and I don't know why. So, please, talk to me. Tell me what's going on," he said, sitting across from me.

"Why don't you ask your LOVE?" I implied.

"Huh?" he asked.

I stayed silent and looked out the window.

It took him a couple of seconds before he realized what I was talking about.

"Maia! It's not what you think," he said.

"Really, Lucius? It is not what I think? That is so rich coming from you," I replied, shaking my head in disbelief.
