Chapter 110: Chapter 110

Chapter 110 Bonus (Teaser)

URIAH'S POV

I woke up to the scorching pain in my stomach as if worms were making their way through my intestines. They were hurting so badly to the point that I could feel them bleeding from the inside.

I couldn't help but scream in pain as the worms kept squirming in my stomach.

"Aaarrrggghhh!!! Take them out! Take them out!" I screamed.

A couple of seconds later, someone came with an intoxicating smell that drove my wolf crazy.

'Wait! I remember that smell!' I exclaimed in my head.

'Mate!' Osyn, my wolf, replied.

I inhaled that honey scent before I passed out.

Later, I woke up to see the most beautiful pair of eyes I had ever seen in my entire life. Her eyes were bluer than the ocean.

Osyn would have come out and marked her right there and then if I had not stopped him quickly.

"Hi," she whispered. Her voice was so angelic.

"Hi," I replied.

I almost lost it when she smiled at me. Damn! Her smile was so beautiful.

'Ask her for her name, you dickhead!' Osyn exclaimed.

'Right, her name.'? I cleared my throat before speaking up again.

"What is your name, beautiful?" I asked.

"My name is Trinna," she replied, her cheeks blushing red as a tomato.

"Trinna," I repeated her name, liking how much her name flowed so easily from my mouth.

I was about to ask her what pack she came from when Osyn told me something interesting.

'Uriah, she smells different,' he said.

'Of course, she does, you genius. She is our mate and her scent is addictive like drugs.' I replied.

'No, Uriah. Like for real. Smell her scent you dickhead,' he argued.

I internally shook my head as I sniffed her scent.

'Shit! You are right. How did I even miss that?'

'Because you were thinking with your dick,' he spat.

I rolled my eyes and shook my head. My wolf was definitely acting like a girl on her period.

"You smell different," I stated, hoping she would lead me on to what was going on. I heard her heart rate go up which meant she was nervous.

'What could she possibly be hiding?' I asked Osyn.

"Uhm... I am a hybrid of some sort," she said, her voice was almost a whisper.

"A hybrid?" I asked.

She fiddled with her hand as if she was scared of telling me something. "I am half-witch," she said.

I felt my whole world stop when she said that.

'Did I hear it right? Did she say "witch"?' I asked Osyn.

'I knew there was something odd about her,' he replied.

I looked at Trinna and let out a nervous laugh.

"That is quite a joke," I said, hoping that she was just joking.

It was like an iced bucket of water had been poured on me when I saw her with a serious look.

"So you're not joking?" I asked.

She shook her head and said, "No."

Suddenly, I couldn't breathe. It felt like I was having a panic attack.

"Uriah, are you okay? Are you having a hard time breathing?" she asked, approaching the bed.

"Don't come near me! Stay the hell away from me. I don't need another witch destroying my life!" I exclaimed.

"But I will never harm you, Uriah. I just want to help," she argued.

"I don't trust any of your kind. It is because of your kind that my life was ruined in the first place. I am not going to let another witch enter my life and ruin what is left of it. Nice try, but you can crawl back to whatever hole you came from," I spat.

The look of hurt was visible on her face, but I couldn't care less at that moment. The moment she said the word "witch", pain came flooding my mind like a tsunami. It is because of her "kind" that I was in so much pain at that moment.

"I know that you've a bad history with witches, but can't you at least give me the benefit of the doubt? You know nothing about me. How can you even be so sure that I am just like them?" she asked.

"I know enough to distance myself from you. It does not matter whether you are a half-witch or full witch. You will always have a soft spot for your own people. You will never be able to change that," I replied.

I turned my back on her, but I was still able to feel her eyes on me.

"All I ask is for you to give me a chance, Uriah. The Moon Goddess has mated us for a reason and I know for sure that she does not make mistakes when it comes to that. If you can prove that I am just like them, I will let you do whatever you want with me. Just don't decide without fully getting to know me. That is all I ask," she explained.

"I already told you to leave. Don't make me drag you out of this place. Leave and never come back. I don't want you anywhere near me," I spat without turning around.

I heard her sniffle before she finally left.

'Is this some kind of sick joke? Me? Mated to a half-witch? Huh, I'd rather die than spend a day with a witch,' I declared in my head.

'She does have a point, Uriah. We should at least give her a chance to prove herself. Besides, your brother accepted her into the pack so that means she is good,' Osyn replied.

'No, Osyn! My decision is final. I don't care if Lucius accepted her into our pack. I will not invite another witch into my life. Have you already forgotten what we went through because of those stupid witches? Not again, Osyn!' I spat.

'She might be a half-witch, but she is still a half-wolf. You might not need her, but I do. Just in case you are forgetting, you need me to survive as well,' he said before shutting me out of his mind link.

I simply scoffed and ignored what he said.

I hated witches!
