Chapter 51: Chapter 51
*Four Months Later*
Sebastian’s glare can be felt by the little crowd of butterflies that I force to lay still. I am sure of it.
I cut their wings and I place them in the ground, in front of Sebastian and I laugh when he wrinkles his nose again.
“You really don’t like butterflies.” I carefully lay on the ground, smiling up at the odd expression on his face.
“Don’t try to press my kid in.” His glare is then directed at me and I quickly stand to my feet as I roll my eyes.
“Stop worrying. I’m fine and I’m a hundred percent sure that this baby won’t pop out today.” I wave my tummy in his direction. “I still have five more months to go.”
I walk to the basket beside him and pull out the quiet baby who blinks at me. “Who you should be worrying about is little Isabella.”
He shakes his head vigorously at me as I drop the little child in his arms. The little baby seems odd in his arms and he holds her like he is scared he’s gonna squash her.
I laugh. “You better get used to holding her. How will you be able to hold your own child.”
“Probably when he is older and big enough.”
I narrow my eyes when he gives me back the baby.
“If you do that then I won’t give you my child at all. I don’t want him or Isabella to fall on their heads one day.”
Yes, him.
We are expecting a boy and for me, I wasn’t surprised when we found out.
I place the baby back into the basket and sit close to it, contemplating if I should lay some butterflies with her, but Sebastian stops me before I can do any of that.
“Seriously.” He pulls me away from the baby and I sit on his lap. “I’m sure that the mothers’ of this creatures are probably glaring at you right now. I actually don’t want to wake up one day and see my mate drowning in butterflies.”
I wrap my arms around his neck and shift on his lap, making sure that my baby bump is not touching him too much.
“I doubt that you want to see your mate killed at all.” I blink innocently at him, “And besides, I am too cute to be killed, even if it’s by butterflies.”
“You are more than cute.” He states the obvious. “But there is some points in time when you become scary.”
“And naughty.” I smirk. “Very naughty.”
He agrees with me wholeheartedly. “Yes, you are.”
“My king, you have a meeting this afternoon with the c-”
The corner of Sebastian’s eyes tighten and his eyes lose all the humor it had. He snarls in the guards direction.
“I know that.”
Ever since Sebastian and I completed the mate bond… again, he has been super protective when any male comes closer to me. That explains now.
The poor guy gulps when the air is filled with Sebastian’s rage and I roll my eyes, deciding to pull him out of his misery.
“Thank you. I will keep in mind to remind him.” The guard nods, avoiding eye contact at all cost.
“Thank you, my queen.” He quickly walks away, stumbling a couple of times before he is out of my view. Poor guy.
“You like him, don’t you.” A dark look spreads on Sebastian’s face and I feel like smacking him on the face.
“Of course not. Stop giving the poor guy heart attacks with your mood. Makes me wonder if you’re the one carrying this baby.” I groan, pushing my body back and I continue till I hear a pop.
His eyes soften and he pulls me closer, looking up at me. “Do you want me to rub your legs?”
“Maybe later. I’m tired now.” I yawn and immediately place my head on his shoulder. His scent invades my nose and I breathe it in with much glee.
“When you’re tired is the best time to do that.”
“Does this mean that I get cranky.”
“Yes, that’s what it means.”
At the corner of my eyes, I watch a portal open a few feet away from us and I become unaware of Sebastian stroking the pointy edge of my ear.
“I just can’t keep my hands off you.”
My eyes widen and I begin to jump up and down his lap.
“Shit!” He holds me down by my waist. “Minerva we can’t do it here.”
Paying attention to him, I look down and tilt my head in confusion.
“What? No, I am jumping for another different reason entirely.” I say as I stand up to my feet.
I am sure that his eyes are watching me for any outcome that can happen, which mainly includes me falling on my face.
I don’t know why he behaves like this sometimes. I have been taking care of myself for a very long time before I met him. There won’t be a difference now that I’m pregnant.
“Where are you going?”
A smile forms on my lips as I say. “They’re here.”
He nods with understanding. “Do you want me to come with you?”
“No, your job is to watch Isabella. I will be back in a few.” I place a quick kiss on his lips. “Thank you.”
I begin to walk away from him, to their direction and as I do so, I form a mind link with my sister.
“They are here.”
I can almost sense the excitement in her tone as she responds quickly. “I’ll be there in a minute.”
I cut off the mind link immediately when I arrive at the spot the confused couple stands.
“Hey mom, hey dad. It’s a pleasure to have you in my home.”
I may have pleaded with Angel Writes to bring my parents here. It was a lot of pleading.

I may have accepted her pleas
I just want to say thank you to everyone that started this journey with me. It's been a great honor and I am glad. Thank you!!
PS: Isabella's book is coming up next. I just can't wait. Though I haven't picked up a name yet. Any suggestion
